I made this video to to show you a watch that fits very well in two brackets - Field and Dress.
Nice blue dial, sapphire and great solid bracelet - 41 mm so will fit most.
At the same time - great Lume and once put on a black strap turns around compleatly.
In my opinion this makes it very nice Field watch too!
With that lume and that 100 meter water resistance it is ready for an adventure indeed!

It's good to see somebody giving some love to citizen eco-drive.
This is the Citizen alternative to the Omega Aqua Terra. Both have the same concept dial, just a different hands. Also I like the concept of the Citizen lugs, its a kind of retro vibes.. Well done Citizen!! BM7100-59e

Здравей, страхотен часовник. Вчера го намерих в Амазон. Мислех, че е нов модел, но явно не😁. Хубаво е че можеш да слагаш различни каишки, все едно е друг часовник. Преди година си взех pagani design pd1694, с метална верижка, и сега му сложих кожена каишка и е доста по лек и удобен. Браво, добро видео, ще ти разгледам канала👍

That strap is very interesting
I have 2 - one red and one black - it is fantastic comfort wise! Just check how much you have to wait for one to be made (at Nick Mankay`s Designs website) - that speaks for itself - the demand is great but it is worth the wait!

Had my eyes on this watch for a while. Only hesitation in pulling the trigger is I'm not entirely into the circular piece with the hour marks. Wish the whole dial had that pattern in the middle. Why'd you end up selling yours?
I flipped through a lot of watches in that particular year but this one was a bit big and the dail looks way cheaper / plastic in person than it looks in real life. Also the finishing on the hands was quite rough. The watch is fine but it's not for "watch peoples"
how big is your wrist? Im thinking about this watch, but whats keeping me from pulling the trigger is the size.

I'm torn between seiko 5 (snkl, snkk with white dial) and this citizen (but with black dial). In my country the price on citizen is bigger, but such extra price is bearable (after all, it's more accurate, and it has a sapphire glass and eco-drive). I'm gonna wear a watch with brown or grey leather band. Which one is better as a dressy-side everyday office-type watch?
If you have a bigger wrist, the Citizen will suit you better I think.
Also there is a difference in the water resistance, with the Citizen you can swim or go into the shower.
The bracelet on the Citizen is better than any of the older Seiko 5 model.
With that being said, the Seiko will have better detail on the dail. The dail will be 100% more premium looking, the hands are better. There is also the thing that these older Seiko 5 models are going out if production and now is probably the last chance to get one at reasonable price.
You can also upgrade the bracelet of the Seiko with something from UncleSeiko - you can check to see which models he has bracelets for.
If it was me I would choose the Seiko.
I had my Seiko 5 since 2018 and still wear it often. The Citizen I had for a couple of months and sold it because it wasn't my cup of tea.
So it is really up to what you prefer more:
Accuracy, water resistance and Sapphire glass or dail and hands beauty plus a piece of history (the older variants of Seiko 5 will go in history as the best Value watches ever created, in my honest opinion).

I have a skinny wrist so I think I will go for Seiko 5 now 😀 Probably snkl23j1 (a really classic model with black colour dial) or snkl41j1/snkl15k1 (silver/white dials). They're all very elegant and classy. Decisions, decisions 🤔

To the left of the date window, do you see a brown spot? I love this watch, but returned it because of the spot. I asked on amazon and no one saw it on theirs. I also asked 3 or 4 people at work and only one other person saw it on mine.
@@roberthastings5442 mine did not have anything like that 100% sure... yours might had a quality control issue... i do not own the watch any more - I sold it but I would remember if it had anything like that.

41 without the crown... A bit big for a dress watch in my opinion.

@@Karvalyfog You are welcome! This is the reason I sold the watch.. it just felt too big. If it was 38 mm it would have been perfect! There are some Seiko Solar models I believe that are under 40 you can google for that.
