I have B50-80 with fan but there is no fan grill on the side.

I have a B50-80, 80EW, 15-5200U @ 2.20Ghz. Have you looked on the Left side under the Power Outlet area and above the Vga Plug.

I don't think so. M.2 ssd's weren't even a thing when this model came out.
