I love that this song brings out those emotions in you. I had the same visceral reaction. I'm probably on my 12th listen in the last few days and I still go through a whole range of feelings each time. This is why I love metal - it has more soul and fire in it than any other form of music, except - I dare say - classical music and jazz. Metal is quickly becoming the last bastion of real musical talent, energy, and innovation. I've been listening to death metal, grindcore, and black metal since 1991, and only a handful of bands have made me this excited in the last 20 years or so. The incredible melody coupled with the sheer brutality is breath-taking. Last time I shed tears on a first listen to a metal song was probably upon hearing Between the Buried and Me's Selkies: The Endless Obsession. Great reaction. Your love for the genre and respect and understanding for the craftsmanship and talent shines through.

I had just the same experience, as you, listening to this song for the very first time. I laughed, i cried, i head banged, i wanted to run through a brick-freaking-wall… Will Ramos took the band to a higher level. But lets not forget the rest of the band. My ghawd, what are they on? Usually I'm not much of a core fan, but this was legit epic. Super sick breakdowns (which I normally don't care for), and a wicked guitar solo. This may well be the first core album I go out and purchase, and I'd go and see 'em if they came to town. Thanks for this, and as always, your insights are greatly appreciated!

I had the opportunity to catch Will for the first time performing with Lorna Shore live back in March 2020 just weeks before the UK went to complete lockdown. It was surreal and I was pretty sure back then that this behemoth has secured his place as their new vocalist.
Will Ramos=Beast! This dude is easily the most perfect fit for this band. CJ and Tom are beasts and incredible vocalists, but Will fits this band perfectly!
I first saw this on The Charismatic Voice. This style of metal is far and away something I do not like, but this song brings so much fascination that I’m so into it…it’s absolutely bananas and I’ve just been loving it!
I’ve seen a lot of reactions of this song and yours is the best by far. One you love/ respect metal so much and your genuine love for it shows. Love see you get as hyped as I was when I first heard this.

I've seen a lot of your videos, and this is officially my favorite reaction. Watching this after spending the past year in love with this song. I felt exactly the same way you did! Great work man!
Running through random videos of yours that's getting recommended and love the content man. Now I like to think of Lorna Shore as a chocolate cake. The drummer is the sponge while the guitarists/bass are the icing/filling and the vocalist is the chocolate itself that flavours everything else. The Sponge and icing is really good on its own but add that chocolate flavour and it'll mesh into the rest well and bringing out the best
Dude has one of the most impressive ranges I've ever heard in metal to date! Great reaction man. I agree with @GALACTICRIMINAL. Very informative, every reaction has been man!

I wasn’t sure how I would like them without CJ, yeah when they dropped this, like everyone else I was just floored. Will is an absolute beast and that song is just holy shit. Like you can’t help but just have nothing to say regarding it.
I dig it, manbearpig has been found super cereal. In all seriousness I love seeing the evolution of music like this, You can hear the influences and music they clearly loved growing up and have pushed it forward more and more, Some dani filth / cradle of filth in there, a lot of Whitechapel / Norwegian black metal as a whole / Nile etc in there and clearly a lot of love for the wall of noise guys like SYL and anaal nathrakh etc Excited to see a bit of structure and melody in there and not the generic punishing guitar - guttural- solo - breakdown repeat a lot are trying to push out

I dont usually sub to "reaction videos".. I wanted to throughout the whole video, and then you started headbanging/windmilling and I sat here like "Yep, youre one of my favorite youtubers now"
Hahahaha. Thank you!
what makes the music video good is how many good shots he captured. the timing and thematics were so great. the song is so climactic that it just thrived on some of these perfect shots. masterful
This song incorporates so many different styles and genres that it’s simply amazing. And the lyrics to the song are fucking phenomenal
This is a masterclass in metal. Song is flawless
I had just the same experience, as you, listening to this song for the very first time. I laughed, i cried, i head banged, i wanted to run through a brick-freaking-wall… Will Ramos took the band to a higher level. But lets not forget the rest of the band. My ghawd, what are they on? Did they sell their souls to satan for the skills? They create a perfect balance to their musically atmosphere. Unreal, but beautiful! Pure perfection! I am too all excited about their upcoming EP! Great review as always dude!
The entire band is has ungodly talent in this genre, and in general.
@@TankTheTech yes, if someone doesnt like the sound/music, try atleast to enjoy or respect their skills. Holy hell!! Two bands i literally cant get enough of. Lorna Shore and Shadow of Intent! Raised upon Florida Death Metal and Scandinavian Black Metal (I’m from Sweden) and played Hardcore, these bands are a fantastic mix of it all! I’m in love!
Will Ramos is a monster from hell his voice is so incredible
"I'm gonna need a nap after this." Dude, my exact reaction the first time I watched this. Holy hell haha
This damn song had me come to the realization that my head phones are shit holy hell.
Hahahahahahaha
It's kinda the reverse with me.
It's not the headphones haha
This song is a mash up of everything I love from various subgenres into one, brutal package
will may be new in the scene but jesus christ if he hasn't kicked the door down and said " waddup, here i am" dudes already a legend...... guys an incredible talent
Dude! Lol! Your review was my reaction! Like, i was sweating! 😅 also immediately bought tickets to their show that sold out two days later! 10/28 in Tampa! Lets effing go!!🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Also-derby girl here so I totally felt the metal is like x games. Cause it totally is.
He recently did a vocal cover of Holy Roller, and crushed it! 🤘
I loved when you said "aaaaaaaa" at the end of the song. 😁 Great summary and I'm with you on that. Amazing how some music is just able to render people speechless.
Fuck yes dude, I have been waiting for your reaction to this song. That ending breakdown is the most insane shit I've ever heard!!! 🤘🤘
That's one of those breakdowns that if you're in the pit, you better know how to handle yourself.
I used to be able to handle myself very well in a pit. These days, I’d run for the fucking hills!
@@TankTheTech I'll still jump in a pit from time to time lol!
I had the opportunity to catch Will for the first time performing with Lorna Shore live back in March 2020 just weeks before the UK went to complete lockdown. It was surreal and I was pretty sure back then that this behemoth has secured his place as their new vocalist.
Imagine going back in time to the 1500's and playing this song
He turned into a snarling pig demon wtf that was epic can't wait to hear more
Fuckin hell his voice is so heavy I love it so much 😍 I think it's my new favorite band. I don't know this band before
Will Ramos=Beast! This dude is easily the most perfect fit for this band. CJ and Tom are beasts and incredible vocalists, but Will fits this band perfectly!
That was absolutely insane...... heavy AF and I loved every moment of it
I first saw this on The Charismatic Voice. This style of metal is far and away something I do not like, but this song brings so much fascination that I’m so into it…it’s absolutely bananas and I’ve just been loving it!
That windmill is the most amazing windmill I’ve ever seen
This was so heavy it almost crushed my rib cage, holy shit balls! Those crazy goblin noises at the end were disgusting and I loved every second of it
I’ve seen a lot of reactions of this song and yours is the best by far. One you love/ respect metal so much and your genuine love for it shows. Love see you get as hyped as I was when I first heard this.
Much appreciated, man!
This song was insanely mixed well.
love all the side facts you mentioned in this video, I also feel the same tears you expressed from this track. keep up the videos my man you're great
When I first heard this song same thing happened to me it feels like his vocals just crawl in your skin gave me shivers down my spine will is an amazing vocalist
Today is 10/22/2022, 1st time watching your channel and the first time I hear about Lorna Shore. They are amazing. Can't wait to see more reaction videos. Keep up the good work! 🤘🤘
May I suggest hypnosis cover by will ramos. You wont be disappointed
This band just evolves with every album each album fit the at the time vocalist. What the band had with CJ was a complete different monster than what they are bringing with will. Will is a fucking banshee 🤘🤘🤘
I know im late to the reaction but i always find it funny when people say there is post production layering and they have no clue how wrong they are. Yes, there is cleanup, but ZERO layering.
I have no idea why this showed up in my recommended videos, but this is fucking bonkers! It’s like the exorcist mixed with parseltongue. Definitely going to download this. Love your review.
Thanks a ton!
When you talk about why you love metal, you surely describe it like i couldnt. Thats exactly why i love it too. Nice vid.
Those high vocals brought Dani filth to my mind, just more brutal
I've seen a lot of your videos, and this is officially my favorite reaction. Watching this after spending the past year in love with this song. I felt exactly the same way you did! Great work man!
"Holy fuck." Same, brother. Let me pick my jaw up off the floor.
I honestly thought I've heard the heaviest of heavy before....till I heard this. I was speechless.
Tanks reaction to this video is damn near as good as the video.....love Lorna Shore❤️
Much appreciated!
Dude has one of the most impressive ranges I've ever heard in metal to date! Great reaction man. I agree with @GALACTICRIMINAL. Very informative, every reaction has been man!
Been watching this video sooo many times!! Your reaction when he goes down after the solo, wow!! Been playing this song over and over. THANK YOU for open my head for Lorna Score!! 🤘🤘🤘🙌
I wasn’t sure how I would like them without CJ, yeah when they dropped this, like everyone else I was just floored. Will is an absolute beast and that song is just holy shit. Like you can’t help but just have nothing to say regarding it.
So fucking good.
So excited for things opening up and shows starting again. Lets fucking go
I dig it, manbearpig has been found super cereal.
In all seriousness I love seeing the evolution of music like this,
You can hear the influences and music they clearly loved growing up and have pushed it forward more and more,
Some dani filth / cradle of filth in there, a lot of Whitechapel / Norwegian black metal as a whole / Nile etc in there and clearly a lot of love for the wall of noise guys like SYL and anaal nathrakh etc
Excited to see a bit of structure and melody in there and not the generic punishing guitar - guttural- solo - breakdown repeat a lot are trying to push out
I love how you break things down. It makes me appreciate the music even more! Thanks my guy!
Tank can we get some 2000's era Arch Enemy reactions please. The 2008 Tokyo show is excellent quality of video, sound and performance
That era is actually the era of the band I'm way more familiar with. I honestly haven't heard a ton of them with Alyssa.
@@TankTheTech Spread the word brutha. That show deserves waaaay more views
@@TankTheTech if u want to hear from alissa era try their song "first day in hell" .that song is good and her version of angela's "under black flags we march" during live performance is better imo
Good to see that I am not the only one who gets teary by listening to LS
Will's vocal range is SICK!🤘🔥🤘🤘🔥🤘I love Lorna Shore.
