This is the best tutorial I've watched on crimp beads so far! It's really clear and easy to understand, thank you!
BY FAR the best basic tutorial I've seen. I'm not a beginner, and still managed to learn a few things with this video! I've been doing a few of these things without knowing why - and now I do! Thanks so much.
Glad it was helpful, thank you 😊
You show the details of the crimp and how you use the crimp tool really well. Best I've seen. Thank you.
Great video. Thank you. So clear and easy to follow and I loved extra tips about curving beads before fastening. So handy. 😊

That's the first time I've heard about the curve. That's good 👍 info. I'll always keep this in mind when making bracelet and necklaces. Thank you so very much!!
Well done video. Now I see how not to get gaps. Thank you.
Fantastic video very well done!
Loved it! Ty, I'll start my first necklace now!
Thanks so much I have been looking for that tutorial for awhile now. 🙌
Amazing tutorial! Thank you 💚🦋
Thank you for your video! You explained it so well. It really helps me to understand the process! :))
Well explained and executed!
I really. Believe that there should be hollowed out curved crimp cover pliers for doing those crimp covers. It would look so muck better and would have no pressure marks on the crimp anywhere. I love how you did yours, spot on. Love this channel. ❤️👍🏼💯
Thank you for this tutorial … I’m new to jewellery making but I’m loving being creative xx
Thanks for watching 😊
Thank you for an excellent instructional video. It really helped me improve how to use the proper tools and how to attach clasps. I will definitely be following you for more tips and instructions.

Simply described as always x
Thank you so much! :)
Excellent. I am using stretchy cord for my bracelets but wanted to go this route for necklaces. I am getting better and these tutorials help. How do you determine what size crimp beads you use?
I plan to use all stainless beads and crimp bead covers
Great thank you.
Thank you for this thorough explanation. Could you please tell me what thread (brand and thickness) you are using?
What nail polish/shade did you use on your thumbs/middle finger it’s so pretty
Beautiful
What clasp would you recommend for a heavier necklace
Do you use closed jump rings or open ones?
Are crimp pliers necessary for this or can I use needlenose?
Which wire she use? And what if the beads 3mm? Same way??
What size ő crimp do you use?
I absolutely love the way you go through this tutorial. You are very easy to listen to and follow. Can you just tell me the thickness of the beading thread?
Thank you, it is UK standard 0.38mm 👍
@@katieparkerjewellery7277 thank you so much! I’m going to start making my bracelets tonight, and I’m going to follow this video closely so I can get it right! I’m so excited! 😍
I have all the supplies and have tried again and again but my bracelets break. Like it slips out even though I crimp the crimp tubes and put clasp covers over them
Which size of crimp tube beads u have used
Came across your video and love tutorial but can you please do your future videos closer , so we can see what your doing step by step? Much appreciated it
V good but sound is low. Thank you 🌹
Can you please tell all the needed items to make the bracelets??
what was the jump ring size
Where do you purchase your jewelry supplies (clasps, jump rings, etc.)?
Amazon!
hi, can you list all the things that we need to buy 😆
Love the video. I’ve been having “fun” with my crimp tubes and covers. Can I ask you what size of crimp tubes and covers do you use? For my smaller projects I want to use a 3mm crimp cover but every time I buy crimp tubes 2mm they never fit! Thanks ☺️
Hi Thank you 😁 I generally buy the same 3mm covers and 2mm tubes. Maybe try a different supplier if they are not the size stated.
Where can I get quality crimping holes, crimping covers, tools, etc. I tried buying these on Amazon & had to return all of it due to the bad quality and tiny sizes they came in. I’m a beginner and will need a starter set. Can you recommend which ones to purchase and where? Thank you!
Hi, I would advise finding a local bead shop and trying out different sizes and seeing what works for you. I wouldn’t buy a starter set as there will be a lot you won’t use. Just buy small amounts to try out to start with. I use many different places online also, mainly Cooksongold Beads Direct and The Curious Gem.
@@katieparkerjewellery7277 Thanks!
Can I use this size wire for necklaces too?
Yes 👍
could I use this technique with elastic beading string instead of wire?
Hi, no you can’t use crimp beads on beading elastic, they would damage the elastic.
what do you call to that very small bead (?) that locks the jump ring?
A crimp tube 😀
can i get the beaded thread at michaels? because i don’t shop online so i wanted to know which one can i find?
Hi I’m not familiar with the store Michaels, sorry. Most craft stores which selling jewellery making supplies should sell this or something similar.
Yes, I buy mine at Michaels. I get the brand Beadalon!
Does this work when we use a beading thread instead of wire?
Hi, the thread I’ve used is a traditional beading thread which is often called tiger tail too. I would not use crimp beads straight onto a beading thread such as fireline or wildfire thread.
What is the size of your crimp tube and crimp cover?
are the crimp covers necessary for the security ?
Crimp cover are not necessary for security, but they cover the crimp tube which can look unsightly. They make the piece of jewellery look more professionally finished off.
@@katieparkerjewellery7277 okay, thank you!
No me deja suscribirme.Gracias
Can you please tell me what type of thread you use?
Hi, it's just basic beading thread such as tiger tail, approximately 0.38mm
Just the fact that you spelt jewellery correctly was enough...and then, good video as well! Cheers.
Spelled, not spelt.
@@mgichndz spelled is wrong lmao
Where can i found those supplements
Your local craft store or a web search for jewellery making findings. 🙂
You need to Zoom more closely to claspers. It's hard to see because those things are micro tiny.
Which bead wire did you use?
i have the same question 😭
I used standard beading thread or tiger tail 0.38mm
What guage wire is being used?
Love this but there are too many blurry parts.
May i know the thickness of the wire? 0.4mm?
I believe the AWG is 26 😊
