This is the interview I did with Apetor, it was not a very formal interview, but I'm very thankful for him accepting to talk to me and let me livestream it. This was clearly something Tor enjoyed doing, and I could tell he had a passion for creating videos and entertain anyone who wanted to watch him. He seemed like a humble and honest man.
Looking at the comments is making me see how Apetor brought together people from all over the world, Apetor's videos were universal.

@@GeetMonke A słyszałem o asekuracyjnej linie. Albo sam fakt że nie było nikogo przy nim. Niestety ale robiąc takie rzeczy bez udziału osób trzecich twój los jest czasem przesądzony obojętnie ile razy Ci się udawało. Proste. Szkoda gościa ale sam sobie z gotował ten los.
Tor was such a good man, free, did whatever he wanted to, was one with the Nature. He inspired me to explore Nature myself and being more open to the world. RIP
The most modest and simple man, who just didn’t give a f..k for mainstream, and lived life on his own.

So gutted he passed away, seemed like such a genuine and wholesome guy. 10/10 Mad legend.
been a fan of him since 2011, he represented the genuine love for life and nature. His warmth and respect for animals and flowers, even rocks, his choice of subjects, wow the world lost one of its best and I am still sad. I will probably return and watch these videos every Yule.
I think its sad and disgusting that we could not have been supportive of him living rather than risking his life. We did pretty much kill him.

Me as well, since he died, every time Tor comes into my mind I get really sad. It feels like I lost a family member of mine. I wish his death was just a joke, but is not.

His English is amazing! I’m really surprised at his amazing ability to hold a conversation because we really don’t see him speaking English much. Just seeing him smile made my day. I’ll definitely never see him the same. We’re really going to miss him. Rest In Peace Apetor.
He was such a good and honest person in life and this is the one of videos that clearly can show it. It's sad, that he is gone, but we should make sure that we will always remember the safety features on ice that he told us about. May he rest in peace. Merry Christmas for everyone and have a nice time with your loved ones, make sure to protect them too

There are two things I know for sure about Tor, one: He meant so much to all of us and we will love and miss him forever.... two: don't be sad, just celebrate his life and look back and enjoy what he gave us.

i had been following him for years, and was one of the lucky few to get a response from him on his last video before he passed. he remains the only like on my birthday wishes comment. this video explains alot of things i wanted to know. i too am a gearhead/car guy and i always wondered about his volvos.

Tor Eckhoff was a wonderful man... modest and very friendly. He replied almost every comment of mine... I once told him, you are like Mister Bean but way better!! Thank you he said. The world lost a very sweet and funny soul... God Bless Him , rest in peace my dear Tor ****
i know right, he answered to some of my comments too, he was so nice, every else youtuber with 1mln subs acts like a god, he was just himself, the perfect example of human being in this toxic world.. im devastated after his death, even tho i didnt know him, i felt it like i knew him for very long time

I really miss tor. He was an oddball, but it's was so nice to see him continuing to be himself without letting anything in the world bother him.

I have hard time accepting he is dead. I wish there would be more information about what happened. Maybe that way it would become more understandable.
Every time I see the guy I forget he is gone, and then I'm reminded. The dude was a big inspiration for me. Maybe partly due to being born the same year.

@@cheguevara1289 I read a tweet from his wife saying he was at an ice lake making a video and dived in as usual but never surfaced and his body was recovered a couple of hours later by divers...Wouldn’t like to say but you would suspect heart attack maybe but like I say his girlfriend said he was pronounced dead a few hours later in hospital....Sadly missed

Wow - he really was a nice guy with good manners. I like to see that he spent half an hour for this live stream/ interview. I even had a few conversations with him and he never gave me the feeling to steal his time - he always did reply joking and in a nice way. I miss him so much... .

17:06 He says he’ll make fewer videos in the last months, as if he knew his life would end soon. I’m sure he didn’t mean that, but it’s strange hearing it after the fact. RIP 😢
When I grow up, I want to be like apetor, just without all the licking (it’s gross), raw meat (you can get food poisoning), and going too far out in thin ice lakes (that’s what took his life.) The ice bathtub is ok since you can get out and warm up anytime you feel like it. I want to do youtube and record me having fun in my life, that’s what I’m already doing, but as time goes by the better the videos get, and apetor does the same exact thing.
Raw meat is no problem though, that’s a misconception

Thank you very much for uploading this video, it was very interesting watching and listening to you both, I really enjoyed it. Whenever I was in bad mood Apetor always made my day brighter, Iam going to keep rewatching his videos to the end of my days. Iam very sad that he's not longer with us, its a unimaginable loss, he was a great person. It really feels like loosing a member of the family. I hope that he's doing good up there. So thank you once again.
