Thank you soooo much for posting this. The installation guide that is included with this $800 dishwasher was written by a 5 year old and misses so many steps. Thank you, thank you, thank you. And, Kitchen Aid, tell your CEO to invest more into a WELL WRITTEN manual rather than another yacht.
When I watch these videos I sometimes wonder what I was thinking on prior installs.
Very helpful and professional. Thank you
This video was such a help to me in recently installing my dishwasher. The instructions that came with it weren't terribly clear but I was able to successfully get it up and running following your steps, especially regarding the power cord.
Great presentation - professionally done with clear audio and video. Procedures were consistent with KitchenAid instructions. Thank you.
Wrestling with paying HD or L to install this for me. I think I can do it myself after viewing this. Thanks! Well done video!
Thanks all I needed to know in one short video! Perfect!
@ 1:30; I put a 3 wire female connector on the solid wire end, and hooked up a UL power cord to the unit. I'm glad I did, my dishwasher motherboard smoked and I could unplug it, so I could still run the refrigerator.
excellent explanation, great video quality
VERY helpful! Thank you so much
outstanding! Thank You!
Do I need to put the insulating foam back in before putting the dishwasher upright?
Question about the airgap connection: the diameter of the drain hose is quite large, it easily slips off the airgap. Do I need to cut off the larger diameter part of the rubber end of the drain hose?
That was outstanding!
I bought this dishwasher arriving oct 6th but kitchen company can not tell me if it comes with 90 degree brass water elbow or do I have th o buy one . Can anyone answer this? Thanks
I figure you already know this but in case other other people need to know, no it is not provided
You guys dont show how to connect drain hose does it need to taken off side clips???
Thank you!
I had mold that was hidden from us after 5 yrs! We had motor replaced, that’s how we found! I it literally ate the cabinet!!! I am claims now--
After my install I have a leak from the air gap every time the dishwasher drains
I got a front control version
You didn't attach the drain pipe so it flooded
Seems so unnecessarily complex, manufacturers should just standardize a simple connection such as a screw in plug.
Good stainless steel isn't magnetic.
Give us a little guidance here: what in the world does “avoid overtightening” mean? What is the point at which I know it’s tight enough? Lb/ft of torque? Threads remaining? Give us less talented guys a clue please.
I know your comment is from a while ago, but it means hand tighten, then 1/4 turn with wrench
