Wow; bigger job than I was hoping. Intimidating somewhat for sure. Thanks for your time & instruction.
That cover is a timing chain inspection cover, seems like they always leak.. Thanks for the great video👍👍
Thanks for the video. Bigger project than I thought but ill watch this a couple more times and be good to go.
bro… i super appreciate your clear explanation… cool n calm narration … i learned a lot from this… pls make more 4runner repair videos… got a 2006 4runner… newbie diy here… thanks for making this instructional video…👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
Thank you for showing how to replace the thermostat housing (held on with 5 bolts). This is the best video I've found that shows how to do it. Sucks that you have to remove the radiator fan and shroud to get to it, but now I know. Looking forward to trying this in my attempt to replace knock sensors.
Hey mate...yep an Aussie here. Firstly thanks for your very informative UA-cam clip, it helped and gave me confidence to do the job myself. I have just removed the water pump from my Dad's '09 1grfe hilux that has done only 80,000k''s yep that's roughly only 50,000 miles, it was leaking fairly badly from the weep hole on the W/P. Yes I was surprised too but, 100% one owner and can confirm from factory it has RTF on the long bolts and a slight smear on W/P gasket. So will be doing the same on refit. All the best and keep up the good work. Thanks again mate 👍
Found your video...saved it to WATCH LATER list as part of my pre-emptive strike list for this job. Thanks.
Great video.
That square metal whit 4 bolts where oil leaks is the tensioner for the timing chain.
Great video 1a auto video makes it so much more complicated
Love this video primo. I built the confidence to do this job
The RTV Sealent on the end of the 12mm bolts is factory applied. Not a bad idea to clean up and reapply with new pump.
Excellent video well done. Thanks much for the detailed explanation and tips for replacing the pump and tensioner components.
Awesome! Thank you very much!
Your video will help me in the future. It was very helpful thank you!
Thanks man! This was very helpful.
