I just got the news this week for this very reason. My rust is worse than yours though. Engine purrs and has so much life left- it’s tragic 😢. Want it, Kyle?
@@KylePancis So, it's broken somewhere...try with a new cable connecting it from point to point and see what happens, you could repeat this process until you find all bad cables. I saw a gay fixing his air condition system in a Saab Diesel and he found 2 brroken cables, he just recconnected them and voila! AC works again
Kyle, Cheers for the content. I've just got myself a 02 SAAB 95 Aero and the info has been very helpful. Regarding the OBD did you have the WIS computer software on your PC? I found that linked from SAAB World forum. Anyways, I did notice on the drawing for the Diagnostic Port that the power and ground go via junctions. I'm wondering if either a ground or power wire has been left off from a junction. As may have been mentioned if not obvious just need to go over it methodically with a multi meter and follow the drawing from WIS. Good luck
Dropping the tank is easy, but on rusty/crusty cars you should be prepared to replace the tank straps once removed. When replacing brake lines with copper nickel lines ("flexible") in europe/norway you need to have fasteners every X amount of centimeters, or it will fail inspections. So I prefer doing it right rather than "cheating" it in place. I must admit I've done it like this once before, would drop the tank if I was to do it again on that car. Last time I did them I dropped it.
Really enjoy your videos
best idea from Saab was having the brake lines inside the car like in the 99. thanks for the video

Thank you, kyle, the obd either needs the pins cleaning with diamond files or the coating on the wire has craked run single wires till fixed
Hi Kyle! About the OBD you need to check cables continuity, it's a very simple process, you just need a multimeter, good luck and cheers up!
i did test, there is not ground or positive on the multimeter.
