After EMH came out, Hank and Janet really have been getting the short end of the stick in other media. Which is unfortunate because EMH showed that they can be adapted without having Hank being abusive or something like that (it's unfortunately become his well known trait, the writers of Secret Invasion wanted to retcon it with a Skrull but Marvel vetoed it for that reason) and giving Janet a personality (she even named the team for crying out loud!). I was quite disappointed that the MCU film kept getting rescheduled from Phase 1 and changed from having Hank to Scott with Hank being his mentor and Hope being the Wasp (which barely has that big of an impact), that coupled with Edgar Wright leaving made me not like that movie franchise as much as I used to. Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne CAN be portrayed without referencing that and giving them personalities.
emh + spectacular spider-man + wolverine and the x-men were all so good and the fact that they were all cancelled prematurely when the creators had places they wanted to go with them is something that i will never get over
It was a great show at the time but I wouldn't care enough about it to come back. Back then it was pretty much the first at everything. But nowadays its trends have been done to death. It wouldn't be special anymore. Where's something like Spectacular Spiderman & The Clone Wars or even Teen Titans would still slap.
If recent MCU has taught us anything, it’s never do it just for the sake of doing it. You need a voice behind it, as well as tons of passion and intelligence.
Couldn't agree more. I think with the success of Fionna and Cake, maybe they could bring back Ben 10, continuing the story from the Omniverse. Who knows, right?
It would be hysterical to give the darker, more adult reboot to a show like superhero squad, because they would come out with the perfect mix of dark humor and drama
Wtf ? You choose the childish cartoon marvel ever made ? This is like saying i want spongebob for adults...if you want dark humour you should ask for deadpool cartoon
@@superfan-gfu IMO SpongeBob was for adults. Sure, the show was commonly associated with children and on a children’s network, but there was a lot of adult humor in the earlier seasons, and even entire episodes that just hit different after you get older.
@@francescozenocchini4428 ngl i HATED what they did in the new comics. The big bang happening at a gang fight is integral to the story cuz its how you end up with villains with real socioeconomic issues. Having it happen at a BLM rally makes every villain some pissed off kid with powers
Actually, a Fantastic Four animated show already exists it is called Fantastic Four: Earth's Greatest Heroes (2006). While it's not really as deep or complex in themes like Xmen: The Animated Series, Justice League: Unlimited or Spectacular Spiderman it's still a pretty underrated and overlooked show that embraced the fun loveable, sci-fi and weirdness of the Fantastic Four and gave pretty solid takes on Marvels First Family and why they're a family with really crazy anime style of animation that I actually really like. I wish more people talked about it and Id love to see this show get the X-Men 97 treatment or give us a new F4 animated show with real passion and love for the characters and stories
@@kendi5391Actually the Fantastic Four in the show did travel a couple times outside of Earth, in fact there were multiple episodes where they travelled to places like The Negative Zone where they faced against Annihulus who was being manipulated by Doctor Doom, there waa another episode where the Fantastic Four were under trial by the Kree Empire and travelled to Hala by Ronan. Another episode had the Fantastic Four meet Namor and they travelled into the ocean to discover Atlantis. Not to mention they also fought off Mole Man multiple times in Subtorania beneath the Earth. In fact there was one episode where the Fantastic Four literally travelled through time on a scientific exploration and accidentally let Doom change the future so he rule the world in a new alternative future and they had to travel to the moment when The Fantastic Four first got their powers
I’d love for Gargoyles, Beware The Batman, and Batman Beyond to get that kind of treatment. And yeah I agree that Gendy Tartakovski should make a new Star Wars show that’s set in the high republic, rebellion, and/or resistance eras. I’m also up for him doing a Visions short or in a new era like during the Hundred Years’ War/Republic Dark Age.
Legion of Superheroes is an underrated gem that doesn't necessarily end on a cliffhanger, but still definitely had more planned. I would love to see another season exploring Brainy's newfound humanity,
I would actually love some sort of continuation of Spider-Man Unlimited. i always loved the art style, it ended on a big cliffhanger and the showrunners had a detailed plan for season 2.
You're a real one for saying Genndy and his team should get a shot at another Star wars project. I'm working on a review for the series and while it's not even close to a sharable state yet the experience of breaking it down and trying to understand what it's doing has been incredibly informative and made me love the series even more.
X-Men evolution like Jlu also wouldn't hit the same because Cyclops' actor Kirby Morrow unfortunately passed away in 2020 and he is my definitive voice for cyclops it just wouldn't be the same
To be fair, that didn't stop X-Men '97 from coming back though, a bunch of the original voice actors had d1ed before it came back. They could recast Evolution's Cyclops.
My dream Star Wars project for Genndy is a show based on The Force Unleashed in some way. His animation direction is PERFECT for Starkiller and crew, and I’d be ecstatic to see how his team uses the form-changing droid Proxy
I love how the theme song alone breaks two of the network's no-nos. Mentioning radioactivity and blood, former is literally the 3rd word that's spoken🤣
I cannot stress enough how important the Green Lantern animated series was to me as a kid. I watched it at the same time I was reading GL’s Blackest Night, and it’s honestly what got me into comics and DC as a whole (along with brave and the bold)
Y’know, when I was watching the second episode of X-Men ‘97, I was thinking: “you know what show deserves this treatment? Sonic SATAM” and then I remembered that there’s a group fans that are actually making their own SATAM continuation
My preferences/hopes, in order: Marvel: 1. The Spectacular Spider-Man 2. Avengers - Earth's Mightiest Heroes 3. Spider-Man - The Animated Series 4. Anything 90's (Avengers, Fantastic Four, Silver Surfer, Iron Man, Hulk, etc) if they're connected to X-Men '97 and have a similar glow-up. DC: 1. Young Justice (I absolutely loved season 4) 2. Green Lantern TAS 3. Batman Beyond 4. Static Shock (or a reboot) 5. Teen Titans 6. The Batman (2005)
I swear Green Lantern: The Animated Series, Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes etc... NEED TO COMEBACK and give both of them the X-Men 97 treatment! Both had incredible stories that had to end on cliffhangers, with incredible writing and good animation behind them, and all three of them deserve a chance to conclude their stories on a satisfying high note. As much as I would want Spectacular Spiderman Season 3, it's much less likely to happen, given the legal issues. Thank you so much for acknowledging how AMAZING Green Lantern The Animated Series was and how it truly deserved a second season and still has a more likely potential to get one and pray it one day happens since I love Green Lantern comics and the interesting unique lore and stories like Sinestro Corps War and Blackest Night
I’d absolutely love to see 2012 turtles come back problem is what’s gonna be a good plot for them they’ve basically done everything also we definitely need more updated backgrounds environments
@@AJedits65 agreed, 2003 and 2012 pretty much finished everything about those shows and just like what troyoboyo said, shows that have gotten complete conclusions don't need revivals because what's the point anymore? In my opinion Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles should make a comeback. It's second season was completely rushed out by Nickelodeon who were just done with that show and it needed more love which we did get with the movie but it's still not enough. I'm still looking forward for Mutant Mayhem: The Series but it also deserves another chance.
I disagree. Both 2003 and 2012 had conclusions. Rise of the TMNT was mistreated and MASSIVELY overhated. I think Rise deserves to come back before both shows.
Spectacular Spider-Man deserves a revival way more than the 90s series, that one got many seasons, Spectacular only got two... Avengers EMH definetely deserves a come back too!!!
X-Men ‘97 is one of the best superhero shows I have seen, up there with Invincible and Spectacular Spider-Man for how it not only told mature stories, with nuanced characters and timely commentary, but because it captured that 90s Marvel era of animated shows without pandering to the people who grew up with. It’s accessible, yet builds on strands from the past, it’s mature but still able to be a thrill ride for young audiences, and the characters are nuanced without feeling jaded - It’s a god damn miracle, like you said, that a show like this (particularly under Disney) was made in the current climate but I’m so glad it was.
Gargoyles definitely needs the 97 treatment that show was freaking awesome. Its a fan favourite classic that needs a modern reboot/continuation with the original voice actors and Greg Weisman doing the writing. There's already a comic continuation they could use.
It'd be cool to see. Weisman even recently did a little exercise trying to theoretically fit in all of current comics (plus the upcoming issues of Gargoyles Quest) into a TV season.
11:38 I'm glad they decided to give 2008 Clone Wars its originally intended ending after being cancelled by Disney taking over but sadly there are around 10 arcs, each 4 to 8 episodes long which were part of the cancelled seasons and Disney sadly didn't decide to bring them back on screen, and those arcs were among the best stories that series has to offer so I would be delighted to see them return to screen one day. For those who want to know more, there is a ScreenRant article about 9 of the 10 missing arcs' stories whit only Ahoska's childhood arc, which was about her being recruited by Plo Koon to become a jedi, missing from that list.
Yeah I think there’s a bigger issue where even Non-MCU stuff is trying to be the like MCU (like the Avengers game) and it’s homogenizing the entire brand and losing some of that charm
@@troyoboyo17 even before seeing any MCU movie (my first one was Winter Soldier), something always felt off about Avengers Assemble like it was trying to be a shameless copycat of something, and once I properly saw the MCU, I really started to hate Assemble since its creation led to the cancellation of EMH which was far better than even the MCU in my opinion, even present day MCU.
@@SecretMagicianBut honestly atleast Assemble is better than the game, I know it's a low bar but the show still had Dr Doom, Red Skull in an Iron Man suit, Hyperion, a version of secret wars with Mad Max style chase with Ghost Riders. Outside of terrible MCU pandering and moments the show atleast tried.
Bring back Batman Beyond. It’s more than time. Since the definitive Batman, Kevin Conroy, is no longer with us, continue after the epilogue episode from Justice League Unlimited where Terry is older and Bruce is on his last days. Pick up with Terry dealing with Bruce’s passing.
I think it would be interesting continuing from where that epilogue left off. So many possibilities. But it's WB that for some reason dislikes Batman Beyond unfortunately.
The 90s Hulk series deserves a comeback. I feel like it was the best of the 90s Marvel cartoons outside of Spider-Man & X-Men and is one of the few instances where Hulk isn't just a big rage monster outside of comics. It actually explored Bruce's background, actually features Joe Fixit and lets us meet characters that make up Hulk's mythos who we almost never see anywhere else. There's been so many great Hulk stories since the series ended too, it'd be amazing.
i desparetely need silver surfer season 2, that show deserved to get a proper ending instead of just ending on a cliffhanger of thanos and surfer getting ready to fight and the universe on the brink of destruction
Captain America in 97 is not a government shill. If anything he is expressly on the side of the mutants which is why he tracking down trask in the first place. The only reason he didn't immediately help Rougue is because having the symbol of America busting down heads in Mexico unprovoked would cause an international incident and not help the mutant cuase. Besides if he was really against what Rougue was doing do you think he would've so easily given up his shield.
Sadly that didn't stop "fans" to shit on him for not helping the X-Men, or saying "oh but if it was Bucky you'll act fast, hypocrite" and yadda yadda x'D
@@kdusel1991 as long as it's better written than the comic where Bendis and other writers made both sides so out of character to the point of incompetent hypocrites, it'll be fine
Good point. For some reason, with Captain America and Spider-Man making cameos, something tells me that might get an Avengers vs. X-Men adaptation in the future. But only time will tell...
Thank you for showing some love to overlooked shows like the MTV Spider-man and Green Lantern. I specially loved the designs in these shows, to me they would overcome the janky animation. And in Spider-man, the limitations created some pretty good visuals, specially playing around with light and shadow. There are some fantastic visuals with the neons and hard shadows, which accentuates the drama and darkness of the storylines so well. And that theme song is so damn good.
I think 2005’s the Batman would be great for this treatment because it was set in the early years of Batman’s career, so seeing his later years could be cool and they could finally adapt villains like Scarecrow that weren’t in the show
Can I say transformers animated needs at least one more season with so much that change in tf and the real world you can have more commentary they wouldn’t be hold back by Cartoon Network and there demands Also rest in piece Derrick J Wyatt
The world is not ready for an Invader Zim reboot. Zim’s shenanigans with modern animation would be legendary! The writers had so much planned for the show and I would love to see that come back for a reboot.
It's almost like Nickelodeon is afraid of any content that isn't SpongeBob or The Loud House. Put an Invader Zim reboot on Paramount+ and it'd be very popular. Glitch Techs is another show that could be revived there too.
I agree with MTV Spidey and Green Lantern. I'd add Beware the Batman, Wolverine and the X-Men and Legion of Superheroes - the fact that this iconic and important DC franchise with its own huge mythos and lots of loyal fans (who will soon be dead as most of them are like 70+) has been so mismanaged and ignored by DC is criminal!
That Spiderman TAS spiderverse story lives in my head rent free. The idea of Stan Lee meeting Spiderman was just the coolest, and I always imagined as a kid that the one spiderman who didn't have any powers was Tobey Maguire
Earths Mightiest Heroes is the best superhero show of all time! But a show that was also connected to that universe is Wolverine and the X-Men, it has its problems, but I would want it to come back with the other shows in that universe.
As someone who grew up watching pretty much every Spider-Man show except for Spectacular Spider-Man & the MTV version that I didn’t even know existed, I really hope the 90’s show gets revived next. Especially after the scenes in episode 8 with how good the swinging & acrobatics looked & in the finale where they show Peter ACTUALLY FOUND MJ finally providing closure after that MASSIVE cliffhanger the original show ended on. I really hope that show is the next show to get revived because just like X-men 97, they don’t have to deal with the 90’s censorship now as well as having so many more comics to base stories on now.
If anyone needs a DCAU continuation, it’s Flash. My boi Wally had one episode out of 5 seasons to explore his mythos in the slightest. Although I do think Wonder Woman deserves more love, but she had plenty of episodes that both fleshed out/developed her character and her mythos. Not that I would be complaining if we got a Susan Eisenberg Wonder Woman show. But poor old Rosenbaum didn’t even get to comeback for JL vs FF😂
That one episode (Wally had others too) was much better and more respectful to flash franchise than the all wonder woman episodes which weren't great and were disrespectful to her lore
@@liamlennon3316 I’m not the biggest Wonder Woman fan. But as someone who’s read a bit of George Perez’s run, along with some golden & silver age stories. I very much enjoy the DCAU’s take on her world. Besides one JL and JLU ep, I did enjoy her mythos focused episodes. But to each his own. But I do wish Wally/Flash got more. Didn’t help that he did next to nothing in JLU due to Michael Rosenbaum barely having time to record lines cause of his work on Smallville
I'm not a Wonder-Women fan but I do feel like if she got the BTAS treatment with it's own unique aesthetic I would be. Also on the Spider-man side, I know Troyoboyo was trying to skirt around the Spectacular show but I, like literally every marvel fan would kill for that to get picked back up. I grew up with that show, and like most people who are majorly loving 97, i'd love to see that show grow up with me. I'm bloody twenty, nearly twenty one and idk how old I was when I watched the show (probably too young) but seeing something like an older Peter would give the same feeling as seeing an old childhood friend (cheesy I know)
I actually super agree with you on all sides. It's such a shame how DC kind of flat out ignores Wonder Woman sometimes, y'know, one WHOLE third of the most iconic trinity. I absolutely would love a Wonder Woman: TAS show, that would totally go hard. And I think seeing an older version of Peter in a Spectacular reboot/sequel is a fantastic idea! You can tell slightly more mature stories while piecing together what happened between the original show and the new modern version.
Wonder Woman definitely deserves her own cartoon. She has such a rich lore, with interesting side characters and villains. I mean, she's part of the Trinity. She deserves more.
I know that it will never happen because it's the forgotten child of X-Men shows, but PLEASE let's campaign for Wolverine and the X-Men! Honestly the 2000's era of Marvel animated seris was goated so I get it, but nobody talks about this series, even if it had a good AND edgy Cyclops!
Only bad I heard from that series is the whole "Wolverine being the face of the team like the movies" and how nerfed was Ororo to the point of being the first one to go down in every fight or something.
I honestly think there's some potential for Teen Titans to get the X-Men-97 treatment, especially with a movie being in the works and how nowadays there's more young heroes in the DC Universe that could be explored in that show.
I agree. Danny Phantom was one of my favorite Nick Toons. I know that there's a graphic novel continuing the story, so hopefully they adapt it into an animated revival someday.
I’m so glad you mentioned Spider-Man The New Animated Series I’m watching it so far on a big blue ray I managed to find and it is amazing. I wish it got more love and recognition. Also the ninja character is pretty cool and I kind of laughed when they killed off Lizard mainly because of Peters reaction. The show is much more dark and mature but not edgy. It treats the audience like adults with functioning brains. Mary Jane is so goddamn good in this show. She is a prefect version of the character and my favourite version ever. She is the right amount of sincere and hot and has a great relationship with Peter and Spider-Man. I’d love to see a continuation especially to refine the art style and bring in some more Spider-Man villains like Chameleon Rhino and Vulture.
I want Beware the Batman to be revived. Its serialized storytelling would be perfect for today, it would hopefully be allowed to use real guns, and CGI has advanced so much since it first aired. Also, I'd like more Young Justice. I'm really intrigued by the story of Supergirl and Black Mary working for Apokolips. Finally, of course, The Spectacular Spider-Man.
I definitely know that Spiderman needs the X-Men 97 treatment seeing how that show is not only the second best 90s Marvel Show that premiered on Fox Kids, but this show is in the same universe as X-men the Animated Series/97. I think the title of that show should be Spider Man 98 or Spider Man 99.
It should be clarified that Spider-Man TAS didn't get some special treatment of network censorship, it got the same amount many other shows like it got- it just didn't make a big fuss to push for a lot of things to get through like the others did. They saved what was censored so it would be more impactful when it happened, like a real gun showing up.
The only thing I kinda like about it is the animation and art style. At least it kept those talented animators employed, regardless of how crap the show actually is. Artists should always try their best, even if what they're working on isn't great.
The fact that we lost actual great cartoons like Infinity Train, Final Space, Mao Mao, Summer Camp Island and Scavengers Reign yet we get Velma is baffling. Western Animation deserves more stuff like X-Men '97, Invincible and My Adventures With Superman right now.
Never watched the Green Lantern animated series, I'll have to check it out. I always thought they should do a comic with all of the Earth based lanterns, Hal, John, Guy, Kyle, Jessica and Simon. But could also be great for an animated series revival.
The Secret Saturdays was a Cartoon Network action show focused on a family of scientists that focus on cryptozoology and mythological creatures that was heavily inspired by older Hannah Barbera action shows like Johnny Quest. The show had an overarching plot with twists and ever changing character dynamics which were pretty rare for animated shows in the late 2000s and I think it would get more appreciation nowadays and benefit from not being absolutely mishandled by the network, as it was premiering during the whole "CN Real" era and the only action cartoon that thrived was really the Clone Wars. The show got 2 seasons, season 1 was 26 episodes while season 2 only got 10 episodes, they had to rush to the ending and while yes it was a solid end, it feels like they can easily pick it up again and continue the story, in different ways (if they are willing to decanonize the Ben 10 Omniverse crossover episode that is)
We really need the green lantern series back, it was cool to see the universe and not just earth And it was interessting to get in the mythos and easyly understand it Hope Marvel do a Guradians of the galaxy cartoon simular to this show (wxploring aspect)
The lantern show wont be on earth, Gunn's talked pretty extensively about it being a sci-fi detective story, worldbuilding the cosmic side of DC (Also fantastic video)
I hope the Lanterns show is like a mixture of Star Trek and True Detective, where each episode they could explore a different planet and solve a crime. That would be interesting.
Outside of my obvious pick, I would give anything, ANYTHING. For a Ben 10 omniverse continuation, that tease at the end of the characters going on a universe wide road trip is something I desperately need. And with current animation technology I’d love to see how transformations, abilities, and heck even just the omnitrix itself would be tackled. Idk man, I just want a Ben 10 series with wicked sakuga, is that to much to ask?
I absolutely love spiderman TNAS. Would love to see you talk about it deeply. Also I think the animation doesnt get enough credit. Spiderman move so fast and its genuanly amzing sometimes. Its also wierdly cinematic very often
They did pretty well for themselves with the animation, they made up for the shortcomings by using lighting in a meaningful way in many scenes. Spiderman is also insanely agile
1. Teen titans was NOT supposed to end like that at all they had one last season planned before being canceled and a movie I believe. 2. Batman brave and the bold had a beautiful and wholesome ending and does not need to come back.
@@abiodunsulaiman2297 yeah but wasn’t that only planned after the fact? When they had already had plans for there last season I remember an interview with glen Murakami talking about it
No,it was ,the team knew the fifth season was going to be the last and thus wrote the episode “things change” as a message to move on from the show ,if they had an extra season they would’ve ended season 5 differently
Beware the Batman, Spider-Man The New Animated series, Star Wars Clone Wars, and Green Lantern are my most wanted mvps of your list here and thanks for bringing them up.
Bro That Green Lantern series was amazing! Idk why they cancelled it. I’m not even the biggest fan of the superhero but I found the series so fascinating and a breath of fresh air since the only DC superhero that was allowed to have a solo animated series was literally Batman for a while 💀
I've never watched the Green Lantern animated TV show. As a kid, I thought it deviated too "wildly" from the comics, with them in a space ship, introducing the red lanterns before Sinestro's yellow lanterns, and introducing original characters that kid me thought looked "lame" lol! But as I've become an adult, I've embraced different interpretations of these characters and I feel like I missed out on a good series. I'll have to check it out now!
If Earth's mightiest heroes does make a come back, they'd need to revise what they did to Hank Pym. They gaslighted the hell out of that man with the whole supervillain are meant to be punched and not rehabilitated argument.
@@hunterfogleman7443 Sure but give a compelling argument from the Avengers side for it. They never really dwell on why they don't believe in talking to the villains to de-escalate a situation. They show up, see a villain and start blasting....then ridicule Hank for being a pacifist, which they all know he is by the way. Also with the yellow jacket arc. They were all mournful of Hank's death and all but when he becomes yellow jacket, they don't think about what they each did to get him there? I'm looking at Tony and Janet. They literally broke the man. Mostly Janet and there's no conversation around it, no argument that Hank's way was possibly right, no compromise......for a team that has Steve Rogers and T'Challa on it, you'd think that someone would've held them accountable or talk some sense into what really got Hank to be insane. You can stand up for the Hulk but can't stand up for a declared scientist who wants nothing but to help everyone. Including the villains? Makes these Avengers seem trigger happy
The details Christopher Yost showed about a potential Season 3, did have Hank becoming Ant-Man instead of Yellowjacket so I'd assume it happened in some prior episode. There's an episode planned where Wonder Man is revealed to still be alive and joins the Avengers so I'd assume actually seeing someone he stood up for actually redeem himself made him go back to normal mentally and be Ant-Man again.
@@SecretMagician That's odd cause Scott Lang was already introduced and was made an official Antman. Were there going to be two Ant-men?......oh well, in any case. Justice for Hank Pym, the man deserved so much better.

I really agree with the teen titans bit, but, I would really love to see a reboot or deeper lore, like the chance to see starfire’s brother, or maybe even what if teen titans gen X, with their kids, (star x robin) (beast x raven twins) with Damien etc.
The Tick (1994-1996) If Live Action Versions Of this beloved character are going to get Prematurely cancelled just give the Animated version the X-Men '97 treatment 3 seasons Isn't enough In my opinion also bring back Legend Of The Dragon I'm lookin at you Tubi TV loved that cartoon I still have the 2007 Video Game Tie In plus I binged season 2 In 2022 so I want season 3
Star Wars, clone wars 2003 is so cool, all in all the 2008 show and its version of the clone wars has so overshadowed the 2003 - 2008 clone wars stories that where mostly totally different
Thundercats 2011 Avengers United We Stand are the top two that come to mind, the last one literally ended with the "To be continued" I also really hope that this X-Men 97 show ends after the first season because it's too good to continue on and eventually become like all the other Marvel cartoons that have come out after Avengers EMH and even Ultimate Spider-Man
I'd argue against ThunderCats 2011 because it doesn't have a huge IP cache of stories and characters to draw on, nor the wide recognition that the X-Men have much less a multi-season run. I know the creators had a second season mapped out, but that would be all new storyline and the themes were even darker than the first season. Lastly, the fandom that does exist for ThunderCats is divided on wanting 2011 vs a reboot of the original.
I’ve said this multiple times elsewhere but if Spider-Man ‘98 does happen. “Nothing Can Stop The Juggernaut!” Is a story that’s literally perfect to be adapted for it. The action would be so cool and I can just picture Christopher Daniel Barnes’ performance being incredible for that story. They can also follow up on that thread with Miles Warren and Smythe to create Kaine Parker instead of Ben Reilly. Giving him his 90’s purple cape look before getting his actual Scarlet Spider costume. I also think some version of KLH could work but that story needs room like 3-4 episodes imo. So I’d rather it be a season 2 arc, if it somehow got that far. Plus, they have to be careful how they write Kraven since he was primarily a good guy in the og show.
Great vid and great list! You basically covered all the shows I cared to see revived. The only ones I would add are Sym-Bionic Titan, Reboot, and Shadow Raiders/War Planets.
The problem with some of these ideas is that Disney would be willing to make some of them but for WB (i.e. David Zaslav) they’d rather ruin the original source material of classic cartoon or characters, and play it off as if it’ll appeal to people who would be interested in when all we want is the the glory days of good animation shows then wasting the animators and writers talents on shows like Velma. And even if they did make a good quality show, they’ed cancel it on the spot because they didn’t believe in it. It’s really annoying

I swear there is SO MUCH cinematic potential for an entire saga of Green Lantern live action films that could truly be DC's Star Wars and the fact that Warmer Bros are willingly sleeping on a GOLDMINE with Green Lantern is hilariously stupid even for them. Earths Mightiest Heroes needs to come back. It was done so dirty by Disney and the plans released sounded great
After EMH came out, Hank and Janet really have been getting the short end of the stick in other media.
Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne CAN be portrayed without referencing that and giving them personalities.
emh + spectacular spider-man + wolverine and the x-men were all so good and the fact that they were all cancelled prematurely when the creators had places they wanted to go with them is something that i will never get over
i agree earth mightiest heroes needs to comeback.
@SecretMagician I Agree, but their still should be constant tragedies in their life, this is what makes them standout as characters.

IT'S HERO TIME
ben 10 creator said he would be interested in making a more adult ben 10 series (adult as in more mature, nothing sexual)

IMO SpongeBob was for adults. Sure, the show was commonly associated with children and on a children’s network, but there was a lot of adult humor in the earlier seasons, and even entire episodes that just hit different after you get older.

I need an absolutely fantastic(pun intended) Fantastic Four animated series, man...
Does anyone remember World's Greatest Heroes? That FF series that kinda looked like an anime that came out after the 2005 film?
@@SecretMagicianI watched a video rewiew of it and as far as I know all the villains were in NY and FF never traveled outside of it.
@milkiassamuel780 Yeah, I really like that show for sure
But something new would be great imo

To be fair, that didn't stop X-Men '97 from coming back though, a bunch of the original voice actors had d1ed before it came back. They could recast Evolution's Cyclops.
Spectacular Spider-Man seriously needs to comeback more then ever.
My dream Star Wars project for Genndy is a show based on The Force Unleashed in some way. His animation direction is PERFECT for Starkiller and crew, and I’d be ecstatic to see how his team uses the form-changing droid Proxy

My preferences/hopes, in order:
Marvel:
1. The Spectacular Spider-Man
2. Avengers - Earth's Mightiest Heroes
3. Spider-Man - The Animated Series
4. Anything 90's (Avengers, Fantastic Four, Silver Surfer, Iron Man, Hulk, etc) if they're connected to X-Men '97 and have a similar
glow-up.
DC:
1. Young Justice (I absolutely loved season 4)
2. Green Lantern TAS
3. Batman Beyond
4. Static Shock (or a reboot)
5. Teen Titans
6. The Batman (2005)
I just want The Hulk Show from the 90s To Come back
the one with that awesome theme
I agree. I think they might bring back all Marvel 90's shows, with the success of X-Men '97. It would be interesting.
I’m just going to say it, either TMNT 2003 or TMNT 2012
I think Rise deserves to come back before both shows.
we just need a "The Last Ronin" animated series, maybe something similar to Primal
Id rather see a new tmnt that adapts the IDW comics like how 2003 adapted the mirage comics.
That "6 months" mention just gave me PTSD
Gargoyles definitely needs the 97 treatment that show was freaking awesome. Its a fan favourite classic that needs a modern reboot/continuation with the original voice actors and Greg Weisman doing the writing. There's already a comic continuation they could use.
Gargoyles was awesome!!! I LOVED that show as a kid!
Probably not likely, with the live-action Gargoyles series being developed by James Wan.
It'd be cool to see. Weisman even recently did a little exercise trying to theoretically fit in all of current comics (plus the upcoming issues of Gargoyles Quest) into a TV season.
Neat! Do you know where he shared that?
That show was badass. I think they could adapt the new comics into a revival show.
I miss the era when marvel would put out so many cartoons, now everything has to tie into the Mcu (I love the Mcu but not everything needs to connect)
Yeah I think there’s a bigger issue where even Non-MCU stuff is trying to be the like MCU (like the Avengers game) and it’s homogenizing the entire brand and losing some of that charm

@@SecretMagicianBut honestly atleast Assemble is better than the game, I know it's a low bar but the show still had Dr Doom, Red Skull in an Iron Man suit, Hyperion, a version of secret wars with Mad Max style chase with Ghost Riders.

OMG YESSSS!!!

Man, a Flash cartoon centered in the DCAU would be so good now thinking about it.

Wolverine and the Xmen ended on a cliff hanger and I was so upset.
It was so good!!
That cartoon was great, alongside with SPEC Spider-Man and Avengers: EMH.
Been scrolling the comments looking for someone to say Wolverine and the X-men. IDK why x men evolution gets more love.

Scooby-Doo Mystery Inc and Transformers Animated will never come back because Derrick J Wyatt(Showrunner for both) passed a few years ago.

The show got 2 seasons, season 1 was 26 episodes while season 2 only got 10 episodes, they had to rush to the ending and while yes it was a solid end, it feels like they can easily pick it up again and continue the story, in different ways (if they are willing to decanonize the Ben 10 Omniverse crossover episode that is)
We really need the green lantern series back, it was cool to see the universe and not just earth
And it was interessting to get in the mythos and easyly understand it

Didn't synopsis said that "Hal and John will uncover a big mystery on Earth" or something around that wording?
I hope the Lanterns show is like a mixture of Star Trek and True Detective, where each episode they could explore a different planet and solve a crime. That would be interesting.
Dude I always come back to your videos when I’m bored these are fantastic
Same
Outside of my obvious pick, I would give anything, ANYTHING.
Omniverse left the door open for so many stories left to tell. The world building OV provides is peak and needs to return.
We need the return of Omniverse. That show was underreated. Not my favorite Ben 10 show, but it was still good nonetheless.
No they didn't, the closest they got to that was a planned sequel series that would have focused on the additional titans members ala JLU
i agree that Teen Titans should come back since it was supposed to get an extra season before ending the show
@@abiodunsulaiman2297 oh yeah ngl i totally forgot that they planned that
@@abiodunsulaiman2297 yeah but wasn’t that only planned after the fact? When they had already had plans for there last season I remember an interview with glen Murakami talking about it
No,it was ,the team knew the fifth season was going to be the last and thus wrote the episode “things change” as a message to move on from the show ,if they had an extra season they would’ve ended season 5 differently
Beware the Batman, Spider-Man The New Animated series, Star Wars Clone Wars, and Green Lantern are my most wanted mvps of your list here and thanks for bringing them up.
BEN10. that’s it. that’s all I need to say.
I 100% agree with you on Green Lantern TAS. I absolutely loved that show I was so bummed when it got canceled.
The 90s FF need a comeback
I'll have to check it out now!
on behalf of all green lantern fans, we thank you for the shoutout
If Earth's mightiest heroes does make a come back, they'd need to revise what they did to Hank Pym. They gaslighted the hell out of that man with the whole supervillain are meant to be punched and not rehabilitated argument.
I think that’s what made him interesting and he gave that up when he became Yellowjacket.
@@InnuendicThoughts I may have been wrong though since I didn't really care about that show, but you're still right. Hank Pym deserves far better along with Janet van Dyne, especially with them being original Avengers.
I'd like to see Justice League Unlimited return, but with Kevin Conroy's passing it cannot be done without his Batman
The Critic should come back. I want to see Jay Sherman rip on modern movies.
The problem with some of these ideas is that Disney would be willing to make some of them
but for WB (i.e. David Zaslav) they’d rather ruin the original source material of classic cartoon or characters, and play it off as if it’ll appeal to people who would be interested in when all we want is the the glory days of good animation shows
then wasting the animators and writers talents on shows like Velma. And even if they did make a good quality show, they’ed cancel it on the spot because they didn’t believe in it. It’s really annoying
Troy, it’s literally my 18th birthday TOMORROW! So a new video from you is like an early birthday present. Thank you!
Holy shit happy birthday!!! 🎊🎁🎉🎈🎂
Happy birthday! I hope you're doing well :)
Green Lantern's Babel is one of my favorite episodes of anything ever!
I need an “Incredible Hulk” revival lol
Along with EMH. Loved that show, man.
@@thegingerbreadmanX09 never saw it as I was too old lol
Me too. Alongside with Iron Man, Silver Surfer and Fantastic Four.
