Hi Jared. Moving forward into our lives, being inspired and motivated plays an important role in finding and reminding our sense of purpose. I don’t want to be too deep with the comment but I just want to share my reaction and insight on your outro pep talk. Not being able to pull through or hitting a wall with a project can be due to lack of motivation, being less inspired or both. It can also be something else that you need to figure out. One or the other keeps you going as each compensates to help you achieve a goal as you deem important. I can tell that you are committed to your craft while being staying productive in performing your daily task (e.g. work, errands). If a video a week is too much to sustain an effort in delivering it on your channel, you can try posting a video every other week or whenever your schedule… and life allows it. May be the goal you set for yourself is unrealistic? You, being a creature of habit, will soon discover and be in the cycle of putting values to task and persevere as you see fit and remain happy. BTW, I love this video. I’m looking forward to your next one. I will be patiently waiting. Take care buddy 😀. Always here with you on your journey. 🤜🤛
Jared, it’s been fun watching you grow as a UA-camr, a photographer, and a person. From the first time I watched one of your videos, the one in Bristol RI, to now, I can’t believe how much you have accomplished since then with the move to NYC, your new place, all the friends you have made and just matured. I think I have told you before but I suffer from low self esteem and depression. Taking a break has always made me feel like I am lazy or failed in some way. I have paused my photography adventures and having trouble getting started again. Watching and listening to you makes me remember that it is ok to take a break. Not give up, but put it on pause. Thanks.
Agh wow, this is so awesome to read. Means so much that you've been following along since then and also really appreciate your words about the journey. As someone also with anxiety, self esteem struggles sometimes and always going in and out of my feelings, I totally hear you, and it is absolutely okay to take a break. We're human! And it's impossible to keep going and going, and running on fumes isn't conducive to ourselves or anybody else we encounter. I completely relate to your approach to photography, even though I live on the other side of the world and consider myself more of an urban explorer photographer rather than a street photographer. Hi Jared. Great to have you back! Taking a break is good to sit back, recharge the batteries (no pun intended 😂) and just take some time for you. Hopefully that has reignited the spark to get going again. That pigeon was huge and at one point I though you were all going to have to start playing Red Light Green Light 😂😂. The High Line looks great and is one of the places I didn't get to see when I was there. My favourite shot was the one with the real pigeon with Megapigeon in the background. What would have been a good shot was to get a real pigeon stood between the two giant feet of the Megapigeon. Nice to see that you haven't fully packed away the Christmas decorations with your buddy the Snowman on the couch 😂😂. Take care and see you on the next one. Tony

The battery recharge was much needed 😂 and I'm feeling excited and inspired to get back into the groove. Definitely recommend checking out the highline if you can next time you come down! especially if it's in a warmer month and not when everything is dead like when I went 😂 that definitely would've been a great shot to get one between the feet 😮 I'll think to check for that next time I find myself there. There were talks about putting the snowman away as well but felt he was more winter, so he got a pass 😂 thanks for watching, and looking forward to the next videos!

Glad that you got out to see Dinosaur! I made the trip to the highline last year and photographed it on B&W film. Glad you got to Washington Square park as well and got to hold some pigeons! I have two at home as pets. If you are ever uptown in Manhattan there is a wild life rescue called The Wild Bird Fund. They no longer allow the public inside because of how many birds they have in their care, but you can sometimes see the fancy pigeons in the window. At least during the warmer weather they were “on display.” Just found your channel like 3 days ago and great content!
Agh it's so great! One of my favorite sculptures I've seen here for sure, and that's so cool that you have pigeons at home! I think they're so cute and have heard they used to be popular pets. I just purchased my first camera but have been following your photography for months now. Love your videos and your philosophy to just get out and do! What did you use to film your walk and talk, just your phone? GoPro? Looked great. And I love how you use that T7i to its maximum. I settled on a Canon 90d eventually, but I spent over a month going back and forth with the T7i and it was all due to a previous video you made explaining the value of this camera. If it weren't for my desire to have 4k video options, I would've bought the T7i. Great work, I look forward to more. Continued success!

Ya know it's really funny because the 4K capability is the only reason I'd consider upgrading as well, and maybe better in low light but that's it. This thing is still serving me so well and it's crazy to me how much I'm still able to get out of this 8 year old camera. I was looking into the 90D as well recently! haha but will be using this until it physically can't be anymore.

Great photos with a camera and lens that is easy for anyone to acquire. I love the few days I spent doing street photography in NYC years ago.
