Here's how we coat over any non-porous / slick surfaces with epoxy! Today's job was laminate countertops. What do you all think?? Not bad for a first timer!
Beautiful job but just 1 critique 😅, the separation of the different colors.. not entirely blended.. just in 1 area. The mostly white area with the blended area beside it. Other than that a fat 10!
That's amazing I love hearing that! If you set yourself up for success, (prep the area, get your colors and tools ready to go) it makes the whole process so go so smoothly
I absolutely love this countertop. I also love the finish! I can't imagine doing better than this. Mitch has to be tickled pink at how amazing this turned out! He's gonna take all the credit for teaching you so well! 😉
@@StoneCoatCountertops Nice of you to say, but for your first official pour you're letting others know how easily they can create something truly amazing by just following some basic (yet important) steps! Great job!!
We liked the glossy as well i think if there was different backsplash on the walls we might have went with it. but thank you!! Is there anything that confuses you or you have questions on?
I let them install it a little over 24 hours after the top coat cured (which was totally fine), they needed to get back to using their kitchen. Best case scenario you give it 2-3 days before you start putting stuff back on the surface
Man come do my kitchen its tiny. I want kitchen and house floors but I am scared to do it myself and I have a bad back so no idea if I will ever get this done.
Are you in our insiders group on facebook? Chances are there is someone in your area who does this! Definitely worth a shot I see it happen all the time
We like to pour close to 70 Fahrenheit or around 20 Celsius. Anything colder than that you'll want to warm up the space during the curing process so you don't end up with a "soft" cure.
Yes depending on the design you'll lose some depth but in this kitchens case it looked great still. the videos/pictures never do it justice but in person you can still even see the diamond dust under the top coat just not as vivid
You're correct i noticed after the fact i said that exactly at the same time i used the one thing that wasnt from there 😂 he had a lot of misc Bauer tools

Matte finish ruins it steals all the depth I sanded and recoated do a sample if your thinking about matte

Harbor Freight doesn't sell Black and Decker.

Looks too good for that kitchen. I'd give it a comfortable eight.
We hooked them up with some cab paint so i think once the whole space is finished out it'll be on par with the tops. Thank you!!
