Honestly the entire time Tegan was in the TARDIS it was just like a family of siblings the entire time. Honestly even the doctor sometimes just sounds like their manic older brother
Turlough would have made an interesting companion for the 7th Doctor. He is the right amount of schemy for him but then again what made Turlough interesting was the way his personality contrasted with the 5th Doctor. Maybe it would be interesting if 7 met a later Turlough and have Turlough become become the voice of reason for whatever master-plan 7 got himself into. Demonstrate how how much Turlough matured.
In the last monthly adventure The end of the beginning big finish he meet doctors 6,7 and 8 but only really interact with 6th for a bit. He also meet Constance Clarke(audio companion of 6th) and Charley/Charlotte Pollard(8th audio companion).
The T.A.R.D.I.S. team (family) after Adric was quite weird: The Doctor - a charming sportsman Turlough - a very sus scholar Tegan - the curious one Nyssa - the kind heart
Thank you for sharing this! I love these two and wish there'd been more episodes of them with Five. Turlough was such a unique companion and had such an interesting story. Would have been cool to see these two show up in New Who like they did with Sarah Jane.
"May I join you?" "No worries, champ. Now let me tell you a story about a young chap, just like yourself. His name was Adric!" "Do go on..." It's bloody obvious they really just wanted to get down to business! 😼👍🛌
Turlough has to be my favourite companion..he had such good chemistry with the Doctor I wish he and Peter Davison would of been in the series for much longer, maybe another 3 years.
Everyone deserves their time in the spotlight, even the most humble of the Doctor's companions. And so it was that at long last, the real stars of Season 19 were the TARDIS roundels.
What about all the rest of the time that Tegan and Turlough were together? This was all just Mawdryn Undead and Terminus - not even Enlightenment? I mean sure, they did get less snarky to each other post-Black Guardian, but still... :)
Turlough was a brilliant companion (after he turned his back on the Black Guardian anyway). Tegan is so up herself here. Who does she think she is, giving it large? Her conceit is intolerable as is her hypocrisy - In 'Enlightenment' she provokes Turlough by saying that she doesn't 'run away', as he did on Terminus. She obviously chooses to conveniently forget her appalling behaviour on Monarchs ship in 'Four to Doomsday'. Not only did she run away, she attempted to steal the TARDIS and leave the Doctor, Nyssa and Adric to whatever fate may lay in store... far worse than anything Turlough ever did!
"Being rude isn't honest."
The 12th Doctor would disagree with you, there buddy.
And the 6th! and the 9th! even the 1st and Fugitive Doctors would!
I like how Turlough kept making reference to not being from Earth originally and nobody ever asked any questions.

Not all that impossible, since Big Finish audio dramas do let companions meet other doctors.

For only a few episodes.
I too have an unhealthy obsession with these two- this is the best video in existence *YES*
Turlough is up there with Ace as top tier Classic companions in my books
OK, now I'm imagining how Turlough and Ace would have interacted.
Polar opposites and I like both of them.

I'm crying I love it- I love these two thank you for making this
I thought to myself... I love Turlough and tegan and there is literally no content for them on UA-cam so I’ll do it myself

It's a shame Turlough was never in it longer 🙁

Hugely underrated pairing.

A pill for closing up mingeflaps and growing a penis, available at Boots.
bruh I read the novelisation of Mawdryn Undead and I thought turlough was a young teenager
Nah. She had the sibling thing with Adric. She just didn’t trust Turlough (for good reason). That’s not sibling behavior at all.

The sexual tension here is strong
