Today I am going to Belfast, Ireland for the Game of Thrones Studio Tour! Come along with me! I went in full Targaryen bound complete with House of the Dragon Loungefly mini backpack!
You have to park up about 5ish minutes away from the actual tour location and get a shuttle bus in. Quick security check before you enter the main hall.
This is where you scan your tickets and if you got them, collect the audio guides.
You are not allowed to film in the stater thearte but everywhere after that, you can. You enter the tour Beyond the wall with the Wildlings and the Night King! It is a no touch tour as its all screen used props and costumes. There are information sections and staff dotted about with lots of facts and all the staff were so lovely and helpful showing hidden details or facts!
There is also a set for Castle Black and more props and models of buildings.
We then move to Winterfell with the Starks. Again, the costumes are so detailed! There is also a cafe and toilets part way through the tour if you want a snack!
Next up is Dragonstone, home to the Targaryens and a few Daenerys Targaryen outfits, they are my favourites!
There is also a large display of stunning dresses before moving to Kings Landing with the council room and the large map room, I was speechles in this section many outfits for Cersei Lannister too.
The finale is the Throne room which has been destroyed, Drogon is flying around, as dragons do!! It has the real life screen used actual Iron Throne!
You are then lead out into the gift shop after the tour completes and you can get some green screen photos done too.

Even as someone who never watched or read Game of Thrones or House of the Dragon, this is _sooo_ cool! Similar to the Warner Brothers studio tour in Anaheim, but less Gryffindor and more Westeros haha I love seeing all of the screen-worn costumes arranged with the props and sets for scenes they were worn in. The interactive exhibits are always so captivating for me. And the menu for the little cafe didn’t look half bad, either! Those dragon skulls 😱 Well worth a trip out to Belfast, if you ask me! Amazing video...glad that you were at least able to claim a photo on the replica throne! I am so sorry that we are so far behind again but we are looking forward to getting caught up! ✨
I had no idea there was a Warner Bros tour in Anaheim! I need to add that to my list of places to go!
