Blood Meridian was the best book I read last year. Just about finished Eye of the World and would place that top five. I had some trouble finishing that one so switching to an audiobook helped. I would also throw Piranesi by Susanna Clarke, Dark Age by Pierce Brown, and the second Murderbot entry in top five as well.
Wizard & Glass is amazing and my favorite of the series. I did just read and review Lonesome Dove, if you like W&G I think it would be a slam dunk for you. It is long but absolutely brilliant. Great video!!! I keep being blown away by your content
Never heard of The Master and Margarita, but I’ve been really into the trope of gods/powerful beings messing with humans so I feel like I should pick that up 👀
Great list Julian! Wizard and Glass was one of my top favorites too, though it doesn’t make me want to read more westerns lol. I’ve been meaning to read some Vonnegut.
Thank you! Wasn’t expecting to like Wizard and Glass as much as I did but it was just too good. I hope you do end up reading some Vonnegut, slaughterhouse five was worth it!
So many great books! I was watching this video and my husband saw you talking about the Dresden books and started asking when I was going to get to them 🤦♀️ soon I swear 😅
Great video!!!
Great list. I am reading The Master and Maragartia this year, and I cannot wait!
Thank you! I really hope you enjoy it and can’t wait to hear your thoughts!
Excellent as usual!
Thanks!!!

Really want to read Blood Meridian as well but just need to be in the right frame of mind. Heard that it’s incredibly dark
Slaughterhouse is my comfort food. I'm not sure if I've read it or Hitchhiker's more times. So it goes...
I struggled with IT to be honest. The Master and Margarita sounds quite interesting. Great list!
Thanks! IT was so mixed. So many highs and so many lows. I hope if you pick up master and margarita that you enjoy it!

Thank you so much! I’ll definitely have to check out your Lonesome Dove review. If the book is anything like wizard and glass I’m sure it’ll be great

You really should! It’s well worth the read. Very unusual and from a very unique point in history but so great.

Hahah that’s awesome! Please do read the Dresden files, they’re worth it. I’d be so excited to hear your thoughts on them
i really want to get to dark tower at some point, great selection :-)
You really should! It’s such a strange series that requires some commitment but it’s totally worth it.
I was disappointed with IT as well. I don't tell people that because it's so highly regarded.
Yeah it was a bit of a mess. When it was good it was great, but there was a lot that didn’t work for me
So you've read peace talks and Battle Ground but haven't shared your thoughts? For shame lol.
Hahah I’ve been debating whether or not to do a review video, but now I just might have to!
