Looks like a low budget game. I am a big Bomberman Fan. Loved the SNES one. Hoping there is a lot to do in this game for 50$.
Its funny how people talk about friendship destroyers like Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Monopoly, Uno and Mario Party but forget this game

Man someone finally said it, because I go back and play primal Fury on gamecube all the time.

The only thing I'm not too much of a fan is the camera angle, I'd have preferred the regular old top-down view without an angle, but it's nothing I can't get used to, I'm just glad to see Bomberman having a place in the spotlight once again! It really warms my heart~♥

as much as I like bomberman I wish they would return to the Bomberman 64/ Hero gameplay over the traditional gameplay with bomberman 64 multiplayer.

Cool. That was my first Bomberman game.
The one feature I feel this game absolutely NEEDS is a level creator. Imagine what the community could make from a hilly map to a two long straightaway map. They could also add different bomb types or game modes. Imagine a king of the hill or a diagonal bomb. The community could go crazy with all of this!
Saturn Bomberman should be on Virtual Console later down the road, too. Nothing can beat that ten player action.

+Brian Taylor, They could even emulate its online feature so you can play it online. Or, you know, just do what emulators do and actually connect two users together to play the same game. Ten player Bomberman online would be nuts.

I remember playing the spin-off online version of this game for 3 years in middle school.
This looks like a good game for me and my brother. Definitely putting this in my Switch games shopping list.
It's nice seeing Bomberman back from the dead. Now if only we'll see other franchises get revived like Bonk, or Goemon; I doubt it, though.

This looks like an amazing multiplayer minigame that no one in their right mind will pay more than $30 for, no matter how good the campaign is. I'd love to have this game for parties, but there's no way I'm paying $50 for it, let alone $60

This looks like a true successor to the Bomberman series. The last few games had a weird feel to them and seem to focus on single player story mode.

J Bender you can kick the bombs. They just suck at video games lol
on bimberman64 you could kick bombs and make your opponents dizzy. You could pick up bombs n throw them too. not to mention you could pump them up for a bigger explosion. also the worlds had more options and some were empty. bomberman64 had a total different explosion dynamic though. bombs had a circular explosion radius. they feel like totally different games. I had always found the bomberman 64 to be better than this retro feel. Now I'm compelled to reconsider...

PGSawesome remember when we used to $80 bucks for cartridges with only 3 hour stories. they dont even know how much easier gaming is now.
When people talk about gamers who think they're cool because they grew up in the 80s/90s and therefore, no one else is allowed to have an opinion of their own because said others are apparently "entitled", it's these sorts of comments that spring to mind.

Online co-op and multiplayer or does the multiplayer option only include LAN type play with another switch nearby. Unclear from how they explained in the video

I need this game now! It's like old school Bomberman that looks fun with friends, and I do have people to play it with offline.
And yes, I realize it's a $50 game, but I've paid $60 for "full retail games" that ended up being boring and not enjoyable such as DA: Inquisition.

Hey this looks fun, I'm definitely excited for it. I'm also excited about getting it as one of my first Switch games, usually when I buy a new console games like Mario are some of my first games, but I've never had a Bomberman game as my first game on a console, let alone played a Bomberman game so it'll be cool to get something different.
Oh by the way I'm not saying that I wouldn't want Super Mario Odyssey at launch at all, honestly that's what I was hoping for. I'm just saying it's nice with variation.

If Nintendo were to sale the Switch without the dock I would buy one with the dock as the main Nintendo console and then 3 more without the dock for each of my kids. I hope they come out with that option for under $225.
