Where did you purchase the fork kit from ? My son has a 2021 klx140-rl and is a little more aggressive than what the stock 140 forks can handle. I would love to swap this to his... please update us... nice job
Update out of the blue . The kx85 front is better but still very soft . I found .50 springs for the front . And did a bbr spring in the back. Today I rode a track and was sending jumps and landing butter smooth . Definitely recommend that setup .
Hi there great video. I’m looking to do the same thing but to my klx125 d tracker I think is the correct model here in the uk. I want to no if the kx80 or kx100 front forks and rear shock will swap straight over? Any advise much appreciated many thanks 👍🏻
@@Knoluvv I just rebuilt a set for my wife’s 140. Waiting on the triple clamp and I’ll put it together. Replaced the seals and new oil. She’s only 115lbs so the stock springs should be OK. I purchased a complete KX brake as well.

I use Rocky Mountain mc oem section to compare stock parts . Allot of times they use the same parts for many models . Bring up the two models your working with and see if the parts are the same . That's what I did here .
hey can you tell me what the diameter of that kx85 fork is at the top and bottom clamp area wondering if the tubes will fit in standard klx150bf triple clamp?
When I did mine. I compared the stock neck bearings to the kx85/100 The klx140 and 125 have the same neck bearings as the 85/100. I just looked looked up the 230. It had different part numbers . So i would say no . But I don’t know the why or the Details .

Did you end up buying a KX100/85 front brake caliper assembly? Looks great, how did it perform?
I did . It was great . The front is soft I have some springs coming

is there a specific year kx85/100 forks that will only fit the 140? man id love to do this for the asthetic look alone on top of performance gains!

What modification did you do on the stock klx140 brake calipers to fit into the kx85 fork?
The stock klx140 caliper won't fit. I ended up ordering a full kx85 front brake system . Caliper, lines , master cylinder
