@@Afterdarkgeckos I was told it was possible the tire would hit. If you bottom the suspension maybe it would happen. I don’t want it to be an issue since it’s my wife’s bike and she doesn’t need surprises. LOL
So I'm interested in building something very similar. Using the 140g or the 140 RF either one. And wanting to go with USD forks. But I want to actually add suspension travel in the process. Giving me full 12 in travel like a normal Motocross fork. Modifying the rear to do the same would be very simple. I'm wondering if that would have been a done deal if you had not added bump stops. Or is the forks just simply too short for 21-in front wheel that you used?
@@MikesProjectsandHobbiesMC Please jump on the 140 and leave a senapsis here if you don't mind. Not alot of people have done this swap with the full size 140. The bikes pegs apparently are positioned well above the bottom of the the engine so they can be re welded down a bit to help make the bike roomier possibly.
Thanks for the video. I’m about to buy my wife one these. She is 5’6” and rides my Honda CRF250F and wishes she had a smaller lighter bike.
Would you happen to have the file for the 3D printer you could share? Thanks man, great video!
Where can I get those spacers
So if we installing kx100 forks on a klx140g/rf do we need to install those caps you made ??
Nope I installed those because it has a 21” front wheel.
That’s what I mean if I have the 21 in wheel you recommend to add them ?

What year is the kx100 front fork ?
I think they were listed as 2001 - 2005.

Might be too short for a 21”. I have since put KX100 wheels and tires on this bike.
So how does it ride?..has it ever bottomed out?
No I doubt my wife rides it hard enough to have that issue. I might take it for a rip next time we are out.
@@MikesProjectsandHobbiesMC update? did you ride it?
@@mikehemens9359 No I’ve been busy riding my bike. LOL maybe this weekend.

@@mikehemens9359I weigh over 200 lbs and I built the bike for a 115 lb rider so I’m pretty sure I can bottom it out if that’s what you’re wondering.
