    I have to thank you again. I’m 1 1/2 years into GarageBand on a Mac Mini. It’s been a journey of joy and frustration but mostly joy. This video was mind blowing. I’m realizing that I’ve only scratched the surface here. As a fellow Christian writing songs that praise God and invoke life’s questions I can’t express my thanks enough. God bless good sir!

      Hey G I! Here is a video I did last Christmas on making Carol Of The Bells on piano in GarageBand! ua-cam.com/video/RZKLAh9K2fU/v-deo.html It doesn't cover the whole song but it shows the main part of the song which you could build off of! -Dean

    Great video! Got one question on the topic of sampling. So GarageBand has a sampler, EXs I think it's called. When I've added my drums for example in a sampler, and I save it and then come back to it or open it in a new project, for some reason it never saves it. Couldn't find anything on this subject so just wondering if you knew what's going on? I know I've saved it correctly as I can see the saved file name under my library and also saved in the sample window but yet the sound doesn't save. Appreciate your thoughts

      Hey there! Hmmm that's strange... so I tried bringing up a new project and creating my own sample preset in the sampler and then I saved the preset along with saving the project file. When I opened a new, blank project and pulled up the sampler again it allowed me to bring the preset sample back. Are you using the Mac version of GB or the iPad/iPhone version of GB? -Dean

    • @The.Ghost-8976.
      @The.Ghost-8976. 3 роки тому

      @@thesongwritingstudio5783 thanks for replying. I'm using the Mac version. Also when I do save the sample sound I added, once I close GarageBand or open a new project or even the same project where I added the sample, the preset is saved under whatever I named it but when I click on it it just brings up the sign wave even though I removed the sinewave before adding the sample. Interestingly, I've tried installing compatible samplers with GarageBand on Mac and for some reason I still get the same problem. It seems to be the sampler section that doesn't seem to save or anything after I've closed or want to start a new project using the same samples I added. Like I said I couldn't find this problem anywhere.

      @@The.Ghost-8976. Man that is so weird! I tested another project on my computer and it brought up the saved preset sample just fine. What version of GarageBand are you using?
