It was great meeting you! So glad you enjoyed the show! My baby birds are famous now! And for anyone wondering I lost my pipet halfway through the show so I had to improvise, I did find it shortly after back in my car.
I do not! But I'm considering it! I do have a snap chat I tend to post a lot of animal stuff on, it is octocutie so anyone is free to add me there! If I make a instagram I will post it on there!
I am so glad Jennie can give all her information to the community like she has. If she had never done this, I would not have a goldfish, or probably fish in general. Thank you Jennie
Goaty Junior I feel that it might be a psychological tactic. A person seeing them in such a small container would prompt the person to want to buy said animal.
The reptiles are only in the small containers for a few hours during the expo. The hobbyists who take their stock to expos are very caring owners with lots of experience. At conventions, dealers have a very limited table space to set up in. This means they may have to use smaller tanks/carriers, and put animals that can be together in large batches. Most of them wouldn't do it to "make you feel bad", they do it because of space limits.
Filipa Dias These creatures are kept in such small containers as a way of prompting more people to buy them. It's a psychological tactic; but after the convention, they are placed back in their original (and much, much bigger) terrariums.
Kristina Burgos yes. They get their poison from the insects they eat in the wild, but since they are fed differently in captivity they become harmless.
dragom2009 Well Solid Gold, many people in the comments section and Google all say the same thing as me so I'm pretty sure. I also doubt they would be as prominent in the pet trade if they could synthesize the poison themselves. Actually, it would probably be illegal to own them.
I'm not completely sure where I read it, so it may not be true, but I read that they were poisonous to their prey and some insects they ate made them more poisonous to humans
Aww! I love that they're called "Patricia"! They're so gorgeous; I can't wait to see more of them! My wife is terrified to ever take me to a reptile show, haha! I would probably bring home a leopard gecko or two. They're so sweet, and I love all the different color morphs. That or maybe a blue-tongued skink, but I wouldn't want to get anything that big until my bearded dragon passes. One giant lizard at a time.
I love snapping turtles! My dad found a baby alligator snapping turtle on the side of the road with no pond nearby so he brought it home in a little container. We had to buy a $300 terrarium to keep him in, but he was fun to have! I named him Snappy and we released him about a few months later when he got bigger. Don't worry, my dad had some exotic water animals as pets growing up so him knew what we needed to take care of him until we released him.
I love banana ball pythons myself. I saw so many things in this video I want 😍 I want to take all the animals home ❤️ What kind of tarantula was it that you held?
Solid Gold Aquatics interested to find out. I'm slowly getting over my spider fear and I'm considering a tarantula one day. If it's calm enough to make a demo spider I can put it on my list of possibilities
I've been looking more into tarantula and I decided to come back to this hoping I could figure out what it was. It's a Euathlus sp. red (Chilean Flame) she's right these guys a known for being very docile. I'm getting a Brachypelma Hamorii (Mexican Red Knee)
Summer Folster it looked like a Grammastola Pulchripes (Chaco Golden Knee) judging by the golden stripes going down the leg. Also they are great beginner tarantulas because they are incredibly docile and I'm getting one for myself soon
2:22 I don’t know why, but I was kind of annoyed at how ruff he was with the snake. I only have geckos so I’m not sure if that’s how you are supposed to hold them :/
Emily, even here in Brazil, considering all jungles we have, its crime to keep them at home. Probably in US its free because they don't care about nature!!!
In your opinion, is it ok to keep a small adult leopard Gecko in a 10 gallon aquarium as long as it has everything it needs and isn’t all crammed together?
These animals where indeed cute and beautifull, that snake you held was gorgeous,Iwould almost forget that it is a snake😁I also once visited this kind of event in the Netherlands, it was fun and very intresting.
My moms suppose to bring me to an expo in September to get another reptile (i have a 8 month old beardie) and im so excited ill be looking for a crested gecko mostly and i rlly wanna hold some snakes and tarantulas
I haven't stopped doing them, I am just way behind on getting the artwork done since I never have time anymore to make art. *low key going insane here lol* I will get back on track though.
No they should not be housed together at all, leopard geckos are solitary animals and can be territorial. Aw they're so gorgeous! I've had a tank for around 2 years waiting to take in a reptile if I ever get one, but living in an apartment with 2 dogs is more than enough responsibility for me right now. I would love a turtle but I'm still so inexperienced in taking care of them, I'm just waiting for the right time. Sigh... one day.
You saw what I got, but I want to know... which new pet would YOU have gone home with? :)
NEW MERCH ► teespring.com/stores/solidgoldaquatics
Solid Gold Aquatics Omg your so lucky!! Also I love how I can recognize Tikis Geckos by the voice and geckos. 😂😂😂
I would've gotten a chameleon or a frilled-lizard.
Ball Peid Python
Solid Gold Aquatics you are awesome!!!! I hope to have a fish room and things like yours!!!
I am glad you bought from Josh'sFrogs, that is a fantastic business! He's an awesome guy.
It was great meeting you! So glad you enjoyed the show! My baby birds are famous now!
And for anyone wondering I lost my pipet halfway through the show so I had to improvise, I did find it shortly after back in my car.
Jade Harley They were so cute! Do you have an Instagram for any of your animals?
I do not! But I'm considering it! I do have a snap chat I tend to post a lot of animal stuff on, it is octocutie so anyone is free to add me there! If I make a instagram I will post it on there!
Jade Harley please do make an instagram!

Jade Your birds are so cute!
I love that she asks questions and is willing to educate herself on animals, even the ones she doesn’t like.
When life gives you yellow turtles, take them all home
xD
Strawberry_ Kona words of wisdom
Jurassic Room haha ikr
Strawberry_ Kona ikr 😂
Strawberry_ Kona I
Tarántulas aren’t bad once you get to know one. People need to realize that they’re sooo sweet, I use to be scared of them until my sister got one🥰
I am so glad Jennie can give all her information to the community like she has. If she had never done this, I would not have a goldfish, or probably fish in general. Thank you Jennie
This is how many times she said this
“Oh my gosh it’s so cute”😂
15 times
those frogs are gorgeous. i'm glad you picked that variation, i love the blue and yellow contrast
I don't like how some of the animals are kept in tiny containers or overcrowded cages :( makes me really sad
Goaty Junior it's only temporary
Goaty Junior it's only there for a few hours
Your profile picture matches with your comment
Goaty Junior Ikr sooooo sad!

“Almost 6000 dollars. Dang turtle! You better do my laundry and fold it too.” 😂😂😂
Aqui no Brasil e 50 reis
why does she have the birds in her bag? to feed them often?
Yes, they're still babies and they have to be fed several times a day. So she takes them with her. :)
What's in my purse challenge?
Haha - that is quite bizarre! I guess it's more convenient, but you'd still have to find a way to heat their food up to temperature
FloridaRose work on proper use of English please please
They were being fed 5 times a day during the show! I was able to find warm water at the concession stand and also at wing house across the street 😂
It's unbelievable how they put all the animals in such little boxes. How can they do that. the animals almost can't move
Filipa Dias that, and also the fact that the tortoises at 9:03 have atrocious pyramiding :(
Filipa Dias the snakes like small spaces but the tortoise is pretty bad
Filipa Dias The animals are just there for the period of time the convention is open.
Filipa Dias and the fact that half the turtles can't climb out of their water that's how they get shell rot it's just terrible to see
Filipa Dias These creatures are kept in such small containers as a way of prompting more people to buy them. It's a psychological tactic; but after the convention, they are placed back in their original (and much, much bigger) terrariums.
I'm not at all into reptiles but this video was so interesting. Such a cool expo.
A breath of fresh air from the fishroom construction. So many awesome reptiles 😁😁😁 must admit. "Until next time stay gold" never gets old on me😍😍😍
Do poison dart frogs loose their "poison" when they're captive bred?
Kristina Burgos yes. They get their poison from the insects they eat in the wild, but since they are fed differently in captivity they become harmless.
Matthew Calero thank you
sure about that? what i hear is that their poison goes down but they still ale to synthesize it.
dragom2009 Well Solid Gold, many people in the comments section and Google all say the same thing as me so I'm pretty sure. I also doubt they would be as prominent in the pet trade if they could synthesize the poison themselves. Actually, it would probably be illegal to own them.

Why don't they have expos like this in the uk????
Dismal Doll IKR
Yeah nor in Paris :(
You can house females together but no more than a few they need more space and more hides and everything they will learn to like there team mates
There's doncaster

What kind of tarantula was it that you held?
I don't know what kind of spider it was... all I know is it was their "demo spider". lol Maybe someone else can identify it for us. :)
Solid Gold Aquatics interested to find out. I'm slowly getting over my spider fear and I'm considering a tarantula one day. If it's calm enough to make a demo spider I can put it on my list of possibilities

Ammaarah Arshed it's definitely a Chilean Flame. I got a B hamorii and I love her. Very pretty
2:22
I don’t know why, but I was kind of annoyed at how ruff he was with the snake. I only have geckos so I’m not sure if that’s how you are supposed to hold them :/
Snakes are different they have more slippery bodies so it’s harder to grab them
Why are you complaining if you don’t know how to hold them tho
don’t worry i have a snake myself and that just how you handle them :)
The standing's day gecko is SO pretty! I'm obsessed
WE HAVE IDENTICAL CATS!! Haha I swear I thought my car Grace was on my screen, confused me for a split second 😂
Where is this expo held ??
Im usually incredibly afraid of spiders, but this one.. Its pretty creepy, but not so terrifying like the small house spiders in my room...
Honestly the Tarantula was actually kinda cute... How wierd...
Apparently someone has never seen a reptile convention
Or when they disappear!!
I’m not scared of the spiders at the pet stores only the one that are in my house are scary
OMGG IVE ALWAYS WANTED TO GO TO A REPTILE EVENT LIKE THISSSSS. I LOVE THOSE RARE TURTLES SOO MUCHH😭😭
9:18 Poor things on the bottom seem to have a lot of pyramiding.
Whats that
I think 💭 this morning is the best show
And I love your canola dy
Are the turtles in the beginning too small to sell?
When she said "dang, tortise you better do my laundry...and fold it to!" I died
It's so odd seeing all of the species you guys have over in American expos, here in Australia we're restricted to only a few native species
Emily-Jayne I live in New Zealand and we don’t even have any of these
Emily, even here in Brazil, considering all jungles we have, its crime to keep them at home. Probably in US its free because they don't care about nature!!!
@@felipelifeadventure8814 that's rude
Weell is probably because if they let them some people will just drop exotic animal to the nature and that will be terrible
Felipe Life Adventure look who’s talking
Cant wait until it comes again!! Greatest reptile show on earth!!
“ I need help. Somebody help me”😂😂😂 that had me dying 😂
Were is the day gecko??
It was on the thumbnail and there my favorite animals
You know what I've noticed , she always puts a streak of white in her black but never a streak of black in her white 🤔
Arianna Nicole i did notice that...after you said it
It might be the way she parts her hair but idk 🤨
I live in Florida and I wish I knew the reptile expo was in Daytona. I live a couple hours away from there :((

WHEN SHE CALLED THE TORTOISES "TURTLES"
All jokes aside, great video Jennie! :D
*sees spider*
Me: PLZ DON'T GET A SPIDER
SGA:GETS A FROG
ME: AWWWWW
In your opinion, is it ok to keep a small adult leopard Gecko in a 10 gallon aquarium as long as it has everything it needs and isn’t all crammed together?
Almost all of the tortoises at 9:03 had really bad pyramiding :(
What's that
Google it. It's really not a good thing for tortoises to have, and it's usually caused by a lack of care.
First of all thank you because of you i saw lots of beuriful animals feeling awsome really appreciated your work keep it up stay happy😊
I would get a snake
These animals where indeed cute and beautifull, that snake you held was gorgeous,Iwould almost forget that it is a snake😁I also once visited this kind of event in the Netherlands, it was fun and very intresting.
Hey Jenny! I was wondering if you are planning on going to the Chicago Aquatics Experience? If not, you toatally should!
What country this Expo Miss Solid? i want to go there..
Where's the spider warning at?
My moms suppose to bring me to an expo in September to get another reptile (i have a 8 month old beardie) and im so excited ill be looking for a crested gecko mostly and i rlly wanna hold some snakes and tarantulas
If i ever get a gargoyle gecko i would call it Goliath.
Because of Gargoyles from Disney.
Charlie Yang that's what my boyfriend said too lol

Love this! Also, did you stop doin the monthly give aways? Just wondering!
I haven't stopped doing them, I am just way behind on getting the artwork done since I never have time anymore to make art. *low key going insane here lol* I will get back on track though.
5:06 what spider Is that, that she is holding?
Minnesota sensibilities.....I feel that on a personal level.
hahaha!!! "you better do my landry and fold it too" lol I'm dying here!
Please do not house leopard geckos together. They are a solitary species and housing them together causes them a lot of stress.
Bread Kitty correct bit if you do you should have at least 10 gallons per lizard
No they should not be housed together at all, leopard geckos are solitary animals and can be territorial. I have heard multiple horror stories of leos attacking each other to the point of losing limbs, and a lot of them were in 55 gallon terrariums with ample space and were cohoused for years. Why would you even risk it in the first place? Why force animals that don't interact much in the wild to be together? It causes more harm than good and is easily avoidable and unnecessary.
Agree 100%! Leopard geckos are silent agressors so aggression isnt out right visible to most people. So in leopard geckos signs of aggression include cuddling. There is often territorial behavior over hides. Ive seen leos housed together for several years together, even 6 years and being fine until one day they snap and end up with bite marks. Leos are solitary in the wild so why put them together in a cage with limited space?
She houses two females together, that can be fine. When it comes to housing a male and a female, two males, or a baby and an adult will cause issues.
I have 7 currently all together in a 55 gal tank. They have multiple hides to chose from, but prefer to all cram together in one cave. I've never had any aggression and 3 are male and the other 4 are female. My Albino is the only "loner", but even still goes and joins the gecko cuddle puddle. Mine all love each other and all are from different clutches and are different morphs and ages. Not one issue...ever.
I was born in Minnesota! Go Sota! You going to the NARBC?
Someone please tell me that species of tortoise has naturally occurring pyramiding 😖
Livvi Land yes all do it is there shell shape it makes them look more intidating
Emma's Animal Adventure actually you are misinformed, usually when tortoises have pyramiding it's because they're not getting the right foods in their diet aka too much protein, because their spines are attached to their shells in severe cases of pyramiding it can be really harmful so it was distressing to see pyramiding in tortoises owned by a "reputable" breeder. Tortoises, especially desert ones, don't really have a need to appear intimidating as they have very few predators once they're fully grown.
Emma's Animal Adventure nope, pyramiding is caused by low humidity when young, and often times leads to kidney failure. Almost all tortoises who are raised from hatchlings in dry conditions die. No tortoise should have pyramiding.
Livvi Land then why the hell did you ask
How do you take care of your animals when your gone?
The snakes where so pretty and the birds were soooooo cute.
Do y'all deliver are yall in San Antonio Texas
At 1:47 did he say u cant video here 😂

I would love a turtle but I'm still so inexperienced in taking care of them, I'm just waiting for the right time.
Sigh... one day.
I REALLY want a chameleon but we have cats sooooo
Miranda Cole just keep it in a secured cage. Chameleons shouldn't be handled so it's no big deal.
Random Rainbow I saw a guy at the beach once letting one just climb all over him and he let us hold him
I have the same problem. I want a betta but I have a herd of cows outside.
TWK Aquascaping lmao
I234 Internet Street holy crap, you read my mind!
When is the next reptile breeder expo in florida and where
?
Yo, anyone see the GREEN LEAPORD GECKO
I didn't see a green leopard gecko does a morph like that even exist🤷♂️
What type of tarantula was the one you held?
The pyramiding on the turtles from 9 minutes on wards is horrible. I was actually cringing.
How is it cringe??
I love snakes and spiders and frog, cutie.
