I'm 19, I just got accepted into University and my classes are starting in 5 days. I cannot thank you enough for this and all of the other videos you uploaded which helped me throughout my journey. I was 17, in Asia living outside my home country as an immigrant, waiting to be approved for a U.S. visa. That's exactly when I discovered your channel and it just blew my mind how many "Better Ideas" I could absorb from it. They helped me at my lowest, at points where I had no hope and was assuming that it's all done for me; and those were all the results of my immigration ordeal and the pressure I was put under. I was still learning English but I always completely understood every single thing you were saying, and I was fascinated by what you were saying to an extent that I was basically forwarding a single video to all of my friends and family members multiple times. Fast forward to 2023, I managed to enter the United States 3 months ago and I got accepted into my university of choice. I believe that I have a uniquely beautiful, and perhaps at some other times, a rough journey ahead but I am pretty confident that I can make it through this struggle as well; and your videos would be the essential catalysts needed to fuel my passion. Thank you Joey.
I love that you called your journey "uniquely beautiful", whilst accepting that there will be rough patches. It shows appreciation, acknowledgement and emotional resilience. I wish you the best of life to come, and commend you for what you've managed to achieve so far 🖤
@@bellewhite3764 Thank you very much, that truly means a lot to me. Likewise, I wish you prosperity, happiness and the best of whatever’s ahead of you!
Ayyy congrats, don’t stress it Im sure you will do great in your classes. Best thing about college courses in the U.S, is that if you ever have a question just ask👍. Most professors get paid enough or care enough to help their students no matter the question. Goodluck!
@@Jk-qx7gm just the cinematography, which has improved not gonna lie. Denmo also makes motivational videos quite good, but yeah most of them are repetitions

Why are people depressed? It is because of sin. Stop sinning against God and your mind will improve dramatically. The world is in the dark right now and the Bible has the answer for the individual, not for the multitude. These are the last days: it's about to get rough folks.
Being inconsistent, distracted, making excuses all the time and wishing instead of planning are the four Horsemen of the Apocalypse in terms of self-destruction, to my mind. As always, a great video with a valuable message. Happy New Year!
Nothing changes if you don't. Whether its quitting substances or fixing bad habits, just try to do as good a job as possible for as long as possible, this helps build new habits. It takes time but something as simple as doing something physical each day such as a walk, or a bike ride and work your way up to the gym or running. Take action and make the changes because you are the only person that can. Happy new years everyone and best of luck on your goals and health.
Yeah, that's it. Plus exercise will DRAMATICALLY reduce appetite for addictions. You will naturally feel, and thus be more attractive. Have better mood. It's the one thing to do and the rest will fall in place.
@@pranze3484 After consistently going to the gym for 5 months I personally say that this is wishful thinking, where I'm the one who wishes this was true...
Another benefit of showing up early -- you can be the one to turn the lights on in the room, maybe even be involved (if they want you to be) with helping the host/meeting lead set up. By doing these things you can be a positive force in what ever group you are joining.
Joey is really helping to transform my life in high school, he is literally bringing out my confidence in every single video I watch, I wish so much I could thank him personally for what he does!
I see a lot of people commenting about how this is “the same message you talk about in every video”. And they are probably right, because it’s an important message. Believe in your ability to grow, put yourself out there, be confident, do what makes you happy. Can’t be said enough…
I would like a more in-depth explanation tho. For example evryone and their mother says that in order to be confident you need to just go to the gym and lift, yet here I'm consistently going to the gym for 5 months and not a single thing changed...
Everyone needs to see this video, we all need to connect with each other and be more loving and kind to each other. Our phones are causing us to disconnect from those that are supposed to be close to us. Stress and spotlight-stealing also lead to worse relationships.
I’ve been working out for almost three months now and I’m starting to see the results. When I started I was so excited to see how my body would have been in just two weeks. When the second week arrived I saw little no changes but I didn’t give up,so I kept training.I also started to be more open to people and I feel a lot better (and again,it did take a while to be able to talk almost comfortably)I’m also changing my diet in a more healthy one and I’m convinced that I’ll be able to achieve more results in the future. So guys remember:DON’T give up when you don’t see changes or have difficulties and keep doing what you’re doing,I swear you will see the results Stay strong 💪🔥
Love this video. I think the 1 thing that could really make a difference because for me it did, was doing things because you want to. Not because you should. Because it comes from a place of "I chose to do this" which is empowering vs "I should" which feels like it comes attached with guilt or shame. Love your videos!
I agree! I completely t turned my life around, quit smoking and drinking and just bumping music all the time now I study and have already learned so much in the past three months that was just a Headstart to 2024. I’m ready to make some big changes and see some success in 2024!!!
Perfect timing. Happy 2024 everyone - I'm gunning for a year of positive change. I committed to a mountain "climb" (scramble is more accurate) to have a concrete goal to get me motivated, start improving my fitness. Also trying to get my wildly unpredictable sleep under control- made a sleep plan and it's going well so far. Thanks Joey, watching you has definitely provided some inspiration. ❤
I'm approaching 20 now, and the first year at university has been rough for me. I did okay on the first semester and even got top marks for one of the courses on 2nd semester, but failed one other course. Since the tuition is not cheap at all, I was under constant pressure from myself that I need to do well in every class. And I think that mindset has grounded me, I've been paralyzed and just straight up ran away from the major, despite still re-doing the courses, and that had led to more failed courses. Worse yet, Mum and Dad still not aware of this, I just can't bring myself to tell them that their only son failed multiple times over the same cause. Not when Mum and Dad seems like they really proud of me. So it is safe to say that I screwed up big time. And trying to act like nothing happened at home is just eating me up inside. This felt bad, but I know it won't be as bad as if I ended up not graduating at all. So I'll take a step back and conceptualize a few things. 1st, I have been running away from the main objective and responsibility, but I did that by getting others aspect of my life together. I ran away from the course to join our University's music club and actually doing surprisingly well as a drummer, grinded hard for it too, playing for medium and upcoming biggest gig I've ever participated, to the point now that drumming can be more than just a hobby. I ran away from the course and established a jogging and workout routine. Since I've abandon all deadlines, I started to sleep better than ever, 8-hours, waking up the same time everyday and it actually feels great. 2nd, I need to return to my education with a new mindset, one that don't overly complicate matters, one that won't try to do everything perfectly to get the highest score, one that has the courage to just do it, and keep doing it. One that also allow more hope into it thoughts. One that plans, but play the odds. How do I infuse these new parts of life into the upcoming studies load when I come back? Okay, writing it down does make it kind of easier to tackle. I'll dream big later, but for now, let me get out of this half-dug tomb that I've been digging for myself for 6 months now. Thanks for the encouraging and realistic talk. I'll comeback and update.
Sincerely man, thank you for this video. I first discovered your channel from the last video about how to ruin your life. I didn’t think I’d watch the whole thing but actually ended up doing so while taking detailed notes and just did the same thing tonight. I’m hopeful about the year ahead and going with the theme of mainly being a creator rather than a mindless consumer. There is always a degree to which we need to be consumers, but so much of this year was wasted staring into the windows of other people’s lives as my own passed me by. And now, at 24, I realize that I’m not an exception and that time is not on my side. Every day should be my last as far as I’m concerned, and I really want to use 2024 to develop the specific spheres of my life that I know would take off if I’d just put the phone down and genuinely focus. Thank you, God bless you, and Happy New Year, man. (PS: Loved the editing in this. SM2 Is my favorite movie.)
Hey Joey, how you doing? 2023 was long. I looked back and realized I'd been bringing up things from 2022 as if they were earlier in 2023. That was a wakeup call that I need to take some serious sit down and unwind time. Here I am. Not even 2 hours into the new year. Well, this year I am going to shift into doing more mobility and other longevity-esque training for myself (and hopefully clients as I form my business this year). I've already been (becoming?) more present and self-accountable. I will have my first mental health visit this year. I'm excited for it. I am extremely qualified and skilled. I am seriously good at anything I put my mind to. The problem is I get some mental blocks and cannot focus, rather... I hyperfocus on all the nonimportant stuff. It's a hard topic for me cause I realized recently it is certainly emotionally involved. Maybe it's adhd? I don't know, but excited to work on that. It's important to note I had a mindset shift -- it's not omg I can't do anything ever cause of this, it's hey, I am this way, and I am going to work on it and figure out what's up with this. Locus of Control.
Thanks for this comment, I too have emotional blocks that come with triggers and hypervigilance which can drop my hope and progress, but the issue is taking the time and doing the work, choosing my momentum with hope and considered direction. Here's to big changes in 2024. 🎉😊
Hi there Joey-I just want to say that your videos have been life-changing for me. I have autism and suffer pretty heavily from anxiety and depression, and your videos have been a godsend during some of the unpleasant times this year. Even as I post this comment, I am striving to try and change and get better to benefit myself-pretty much trying to unscrew what is screwed in my life right now (and if I can’t unscrew it, I’m doing what I can to make it better)-getting off of my phone, getting better at interacting with people (because phone+autism is not a good combo and can easily lead to closing oneself off from others), and just learning to try and do what I can to improve my life and reach my goals without giving up as easily are all things I’m trying to get better at. Thank you for your content, and to everyone else, it does get better, even if you don’t think so at first-I was one of the many that merely watched videos like these, going “that’ll never happen,” before continuing to scroll. Your quality of life will not change unless you change, everybody. Life can and will be shitty, but do what you can to make it better, and reach for your goals (or wishes), even if they seem unrealistic.
I've been working a job that I'm very unenthusiastic about for around 8 years. I've been building a filmmaking freelance business on the side and this year is the year that I take it full time. Massively excited for it! Looking forward to seeing what your secret start up is too Joey - I've been lurking for a few years and it's been cool watching Better Ideas evolve over time 👌🏼
Even though I’ve probably heard some of the same advice in your past videos, sometimes hearing it again presented in a different format makes it stick. I was at a grocery store checkout line and remembered this exact part of the video (2:57). I’m someone who usually keeps to myself in public, and I rarely ever initiate conversations with strangers. But as soon as that clip replayed in my head, I instinctively asked the cashier, “Hey how’s your day goin?” We ended up having a pretty good conversation, and I felt energized by it. Since then, it’s been much easier for me to talk to random people and have actual conversations. The more I do it, the more natural it gets. Even though it seems like such a small thing to do, I feel like the random conversations have actually positively impacted my energy and motivation. When I do share more about myself and my UA-cam journey, they care enough to subscribe to my channel and even thank me for sharing my story and perspective on whatever we talk about. It lets me know that people resonate with what I have to say and that I can help people. Moral of the story is: Step out of your comfort zone, do something you wouldn’t normally do, and it could impact (and even change) your life. As always, thanks for the video!
I have this quote that kinda changed my mind. That I'd like to share.. which is "Focus on yourself & Focus on now" and simplified many of the points in the video.. beautiful video. Thanks better ideas.
YES! Being more hopeful and open is what I already wanted to be this year. This video just confirms how important these traits are. The whole world needs more hope and openness.
Number 8 really hit home. I feel like throughout my entire life, I have always tried very hard to be liked by everybody and be someone I am not around so many different people.
I just recently began turning my own social life around, thank you for making these videos showing me I'm headed in the right direction and I made the right call saving myself before I messed things up so much more
this is my first time listening to you , I appreciate the advice, I feel lost in my goals due to my child traumas, but I'm working on changing the lifestyle I've been living always
People! Don't underestimate the first point! It's very crazy how much influence you have on society with just being open and nice. There are lots of studies on how many people you affect with your mood and behaviour. Just some friendly kindness in an every day situation can make the day of a person who then does that to another person an so on. Especially with store clerks this is insane as if they are in a good mood they give that back to thousands of people in a day. Always be aware that you actually make a change with this! Also if you get in conflict with people try not to lose your mind immediately and calmly try to reach the person. Trust me it does wonders if you kindly ask a person "I understand but why are you yelling at me like that?". People often get that sudden realisation of their bad behaviour and feel bad for it. And don't get discouraged if your kindness doesn't work on anybody. I didn't believe it would work that well until I started to do it after the pandemic where everybody was/is extra depressed and frustrated. We need to become more social again!
My motto is to be positive about everything. Perhaps, there are always some people better than me, and I may feel anxious about it, but whatever I do, I just tell myself, "You are so good, and you make more progress than ever, even if it's just a little." The more steps you take, the better the result.
The excuses thing works. I experienced something similar when I missed a deadline for a job. I was tempted to make up an excuse as always, but I just said "sorry I'm late, there's no excuse" and surprise surprise I was met with a "don't worry". It really works
Hey Joey and friends. I just discovered the videos today and I already feel the beginning of release from my depression, lack of self-esteem, etc. Thank you very much for this! It is surely a blessing to lift someone else's mood, especially from a chronic place. I wanted to ask, surely exercise is important. Is there any exercise training on this channel, or a video recommendation that someone can recommend to me? Right now I'm doing the simple known things, like push-ups. Thank you.
I've had a life crippling addiction for 30 years. Today is the first day of 2024 and I'm going to make this ENTIRE year completely addiction free. I have the power and I have the control to do it. I will do it. And life will be so much better. Today my real life begins.
Hello Michael, Its the end of 2024 , How's your progress going, even if you couldn't change yourself this year dont be sad trying to change is noble step don't forget you can always start from today!

I've found one of the best ways to be welcoming or disarming in public places (something like a waiting lobby) is to stay off of your phone, no matter the wait. Enjoy the environment, be aware of the opportunities to interact with other people. Also, and most importantly, it will allow you to be more aware of your surroundings.
Just wanna say your videos help man, i had this whole plan on ending things on the 1st of January, but your vids gives me a better perspective on fixing myself
I'm sorry things are/were that dark for you man. I hope you're feeling as better as you can be, relatively speaking, since those feelings don't just go away or instantly improve. I hope you're still here and I'm rooting for you
Regarding #9: "Don't wish for success; plan for it." Joey touches it on it at the very end of the video, but I'd define "success" as "getting what you want" and not necessarily money/muscles/sex. With that in mind, I'd add an addendum: "Be honest with what you want." If what you "want" is purely based on what someone else wants (or their expectations of you), you do not really want that. Differentiate between "want" and "should" and "need". Also it's okay to not know what you want; if anything it's even more exciting that way!
What a powerful message on personal growth by highlighting practical steps to reverse negative habits. As it emphasizes the importance of self-awareness, consistency, and taking responsibility for one's actions. By focusing on empowering activities and maintaining hope for a better future, one should encourage to cultivate a mindset of growth and resilience. Thanks for sharing.
I’ve been trying to show up early to my newest job because my mind NEEDS to survey the situation and I’m way less stressed cause it gives my mind time to prepare instead of just diving headfirst. All of these tips are so good 👏 PREEEACH BROTHA PREACH!
Debriefing: By the end of 2023 i was depressed, addicted to many things and had horrible habits. I knew it was destroying me, and then I got backstabbed by someone who I completely misjudged. This, and spending the holidays alone in my room hurt so much, my brain just switched. 12 days clean, going strong, reading a book, released 2 songs, working out 3-4 times a week, eating perfectly and planned to move and start a new life in a much nicer city. When I feel bad I allow it and sit with it. No more running away, no more bs. Working on myself every day and your videos resonate with me more then ever. ❤ 💪
@@tigerlily9234 wow thanks for asking. Not perfect. Had a very good 2 months, then depression came back,, it led to a relapse and now I'm getting out of it again. But not all is bad. Learning a new language successfully every day and have many goals. It's just difficult to keep positive
I'm a landscape gardener, for the last week I have been working in a public park with people walking past all day. I striked up a conversation with every single person that walked past and some people I had a really good chat with. The people that were the most talkative were the older generation, above 60-70, as that's how they've been brought up. It honestly brightened my day and realised that every person is an individual, as interesting as the next
0:10 Agree, so cool man, I initially thought it was edited by piecing scenes from top-tier movies but no, it was organically filmed and it was so so good
I also feel the same way about showing the negative side of things. life isn't always rainbows, and the over the top positivity gets old. love your stuff, thanks for it all!
The first one is surprisingly so subtly important. I've been doing this lately and it feels like you're giving something to the world by just connecting to others. It's wonderful
I'm trying to start studying IT/Cybersecurity at a community college on the 15th of January, I'm 24 and I've got a useless Poli Sci degree to show for it. I have no idea what the right move is, or even if I should do this. Wish me luck, I want a life.
Being politically astute is a good thing, it’s like being street smart. Make sure that you are not biased to one side over the other, always ask yourself if you are being gaslit and following mainstream misinformation or open to hearing other people opinion. You can get credit for past experience to put towards your degree.
Self accountability, find out what bad habits are causing negativity in your life, for me it was numerous things, it's impossible to just stop them all at once, you're setting yourself up for failure if you attempt a major change as if you fall back into bad habits, it'll be evem harder to try to break free the next time, attempt change in small manageable amounts, work on one thing at a time, once you've succeeded at progressing, move onto the next negative, this is what is working for me, this may not be helpful to everyone, but that's my journey so far, best of luck, life is a school, failure is a part of progression, I have faith in you!🕊️
the hard truth is, you guys just need to stop watching this video and start doing what you have to do. You know exactly what to do. You just didn’t do it for whatever excuses you make.
On the other hand if someone watches this instead of scrolling social media it's probably better usage of time Some times things need to settle in your brain to get the motivation
Thank you for sharing these videos are straight to the point. Clear and is good for my Autistic brain plus this is more motivating then videos like ..oh go for a run get out there with loud music 🙄. This as inspiration motivation action 😃
Sitting down and writing notes about the to me important things that you said felt promising. I feel like I’m in my journey to feeling better about and improving myself and writing it down and being able to look at it again whenever I need it, is really supporting me. So thank you for this glimpse of how I can better myself :)
My 16 year old son sent me a link for this video and already started trying things out. Thanks for sharing. I'll definitely take a few tips from this myself! ❤
Don't be sorry the video was long. It was as long as it needed to be to get your message across and (in my opinion) it was a perfect message. Very helpful and just what I needed to hear, right now. Thank you.
This has been a rough year. I'm trying to start life over after hitting rock bottom. Mid life crisis I guess. I'm going to start with a job, and try to get back on my feet again. I would love to find true information on true legitimate computer businesses. Starting my own business online is something I would love to do.
Honestly, something about the "no excuse" point really resonated with me. Now, it's not because I'm someone who chronically uses excuses, but rather, my job puts me in close interaction with teenagers quite often, and something I've realized is, teenagers are EXPECTED to have an excuse to everything. Forgot to do something, showed up late, etc? A teenager is expected to offer SOME form of excuse, because otherwise it makes it worse on them. I think that sentiment had bled into the rest of society (or it could be a chicken or egg situation idk) where EVERYWHERE people now have to have an excuse. The idea of just saying "yep, fucked up because I ran late, nothing of note caused it" is somehow seen as less responsible then LYING and saying "oh, uh, my dog ate my homework". Idk, I just think its interesting how offering an obvious lie and excuse became almost subconsciously more acceptable and even expected then just being truthful and owning up to the fact that, nope, no excuse, just fucked up. Side point, I remember years ago still being in high school and deciding not to do my calculus homework. My calculus teacher straight up told me he preferred me not even bothering to put on a front, then everyone who just cheated or made up excuses. So hey, my single anecdotal example supports the idea of just do away with excuses.
So true! Idk why people can't just say, "My bad I fucked up. This or that was my mistake, I apologize." Nobody says those things it seems. It's so easy and makes people respect you if anything.
1. Body language - open posture, eye contacts, greet people. 2. Don’t check your phone 3. Be early to things - show up 5-10 min early for everything. 4. Stop making excuses 5. Develop internal locus of control - focus on what you can control. 6. Don’t steal the spotlight - stop talking start asking questions. 7. Don’t Detract - don’t gossip about other people. 8. Be consistent - be same in front and behind people. 9. Don’t wish for success, Plan for it 10. Grow - do activities that make you feel strong. 11. Don’t Despair - have hope, conceptualise where you are going.
Love the first tip. I moved to Spain in 2022. And I will never forget the day I realized how much direct eye contact I was getting. People in the US don't like looking you in the eyes. It comes off as aggressive or intrusive. Also, there are far fewer people laser-focused on their phones 24/7. And you see strangers conversing ... far more heads looking straight ahead and eyes taking in the world
Focussing on being a better poker player. That's it. 😊👍 Make the best out of every situation, many seemingly bad situations are actually a blessing in disguise. And not taking everything and everyone so super seriously, also yourself and life in general, is also a big game changer. 😊 I speak from experience, I have multiple health issues to deal with, I broke almost every bone in my body, my heart was broken too of course, i lost jobs, I was addicted to substances and so on, but I always made it out of any shitty situation. And so can you! Just trust your power and never give up. 💪🌟
I always make small talk with employees in general. It's a simple way to connect with others. Also saying "good morning" to people in the streets. It's very nice
I think it's sad that school doesn't teach some of these things like Internal locus of control, because so many people probably don't ever learn that until this video, like this point especially seems like the one thing that could almost flip your life around if you applied it well. But anyway now that I do know about it, I definitely need to apply this more, thanks Joey!
1:24 oh, I love this tip! I don't know how much it is improving my live or if even will, but when I yesterday asked a casier, how he was doing, he smiled so charmingly, that I was delighted, too! Thank you so much for this tip, Joey!
Fun little thing to add: An example of good prioritization! I'm beginning to feel rather chipper this morning, about all the planning to break my lazy and drunken routine to get back on the life saddle, and I thought about the important 'say no' rule. The marshmallow thing. My chipperness lead to me thinking of a good song and I thought "I think I'll listen to some good song I like!" and then it hit me "do I say no to this and continue looking at this self motivational video?" and my conclusion was: NO! Definitely listen to the good song. I know that is going to increase my good mood, motivation and I'll continue where I left off after. Part of getting good at saying no also entails knowing which good things to say yes to, if you correctly identify them as empowering and uplifting things.
I often feel guilty after watching a ton of youtube vlogs of people and their friends having fun. Because that just looks like I am escaping my reality. But somehow watching stupid funny vlogs gives me energy, hope and I feel happy because that might be me visualizing what I actually want which is having more fun with new friends and playing sports.
Thanks for the video. I usually get overwhelmed trying to fold my clothes, but you inspired me to do it and I listened to this video while doing that, and it wasn't so bad.
Great video and really insightful content! Just a small suggestion - it would be super helpful if you could include timestamps for the main topics discussed. This way, it's easier to revisit specific parts of the video. Thanks!
I don't think you will ever see this but for me this is the best motivational youtuber. no toxic productivity. no arrogance, not flaunting his ivy league master degree, he talks as if he were a friend. Joey you are changing lives for the better, especially mine, I love your take on things and cried with your previous video. Really enjoyed the last tip. I’m working a job that I don’t enjoy and I’m only doing it to pay the bills. I have goals and passions to change my situation but I’ve been stuck in a constant loop of feeling bad about how things are going and it’s hard to get out of. Hopefully in 2024 I can see some change!
I hope that I will finally take this advice to heart for a long time to come - because I have the feeling that I get cyclical sclerosis or temporary satisfaction with everything and instead of progressing upwards, I am still at the same level - and time is running out. Either I will soar upwards or I will fall painfully downwards.
Actually, 2023 was the best year for me, lots of surprises, wins, fails but also a reminder of how impressive i did to delete the most addictive thing in my life: GAMING. 2024 might be a reset for me OR a continuation of the good things in my life. Either way, this new year also means new rules and new passions.
Listen, it's maybe good for you to be excited for GTA 6 but not everyone will play it either way and so i won't. I have my reasons so i hope you understand.@@himangG
why still got that Venom picture lol Like, gaming by itself isn't the bad thing, "The poison is in the dose" But yeah, there is a moment in life where games just aren't a priority so, if you did get this out of your life, hope that it is for the best (of your life)
Im a 16 year old guy (in highschool), I don’t get bullied at school or anything, I always have people I can sit with and know enough to make small talk but outside of school I dont have any real friends. When I first started high school 4 years ago at a new school I hung out with a high achieving group for about a half a year, however I had a fight with one of the people and left the group. After that I floated around different friend groups but never made real connections with anyone while everyone else bonded stronger. A little over a year ago I decided to rejoin the friend group. However due to the fear of being disagreed with and forced to drift between friend groups I gradually stopped talking in conversations until I eventually became completely quiet. By now its just become normal that during lunch I sit with them silently and in classes I sit with them but barely talk to them. I really want to become friends but no matter what I do, I can’t seem to force myself to speak, let alone become friends with them. I really want to get added on social media and go out to places with them. Problems I have when i try to talk are: - Since its been so long it feels odd to out of nowhere start talking again/they aren’t expecting me to talk to them - They all know eachother way better than I do so why would they want to talk to me when they can talk to a closer friend - I can rarely think of anything interesting or meaningful to say What should I do?
40k weekly profit!... I can now give back to the locals in my community and also support the church.. Investment should always be on any creative man's heart for success in life..God bless America♥️

I agree
Yeah, that's it. Plus exercise will DRAMATICALLY reduce appetite for addictions. You will naturally feel, and thus be more attractive. Have better mood. It's the one thing to do and the rest will fall in place.
You got be intentional !

Joey is really helping to transform my life in high school, he is literally bringing out my confidence in every single video I watch, I wish so much I could thank him personally for what he does!
best way to thank him is by keeping too the better path, praying for your success stranger 😄
Just keep at it and don't give up and who knows, maybe you will have the chance to thank him personally! Good luck on your path brother
Thats good news. This version of youtube is actually in some ways better than the version I had in school lol.
@@itsez1129 hmm I’m not sure, he might have a more in depth explanation on that but idk
@@itsez1129 you probably have no idea what are you doing in the gym + its only been 5 months, what did you expect to happen in such little time?
So guys remember:DON’T give up when you don’t see changes or have difficulties and keep doing what you’re doing,I swear you will see the results
Stay strong 💪🔥
Love this video. I think the 1 thing that could really make a difference because for me it did, was doing things because you want to. Not because you should. Because it comes from a place of "I chose to do this" which is empowering vs "I should" which feels like it comes attached with guilt or shame. Love your videos!
2023 was challenging however 2024 will be Life changing 🔥 All the best
I know and you’re right
The challenge is the change…. If you take advantage of it.
I agree! I completely t turned my life around, quit smoking and drinking and just bumping music all the time now I study and have already learned so much in the past three months that was just a Headstart to 2024. I’m ready to make some big changes and see some success in 2024!!!
Let's goo I'm so ready 🌟✊💪
Fuck yeah dude! Zero hour, let's get some.

Glad to hear, that you ditched a life you wouldn't love.
I really needed this man, been feeling myself slipping and I don’t want to reach a new low. Thank you
Even though I’ve probably heard some of the same advice in your past videos, sometimes hearing it again presented in a different format makes it stick.
I was at a grocery store checkout line and remembered this exact part of the video (2:57).
I’m someone who usually keeps to myself in public, and I rarely ever initiate conversations with strangers. But as soon as that clip replayed in my head, I instinctively asked the cashier, “Hey how’s your day goin?”
We ended up having a pretty good conversation, and I felt energized by it.
Thank you.
Been watching your videos for a couple years now and have improved my life immensely, thank you, and I hope you continue to have success through 2024!
This is everything I’ve ever needed to hear all in one video. This is all so relevant to me it’s a miracle I found your channel.
I've had a life crippling addiction for 30 years. Today is the first day of 2024 and I'm going to make this ENTIRE year completely addiction free. I have the power and I have the control to do it. I will do it. And life will be so much better. Today my real life begins.

Regarding #9: "Don't wish for success; plan for it."
Joey touches it on it at the very end of the video, but I'd define "success" as "getting what you want" and not necessarily money/muscles/sex.

Debriefing:
By the end of 2023 i was depressed, addicted to many things and had horrible habits. ❤ 💪

Your videos are wonderful and helpful. Thank you.

On the other hand if someone watches this instead of scrolling social media it's probably better usage of time
Some times things need to settle in your brain to get the motivation
People sometimes need guidance when they're lost, Joey wouldn't get thanking messages if everyone knew what to do exactly
“You guys” really? Who are you the Buddha? You act as if you got your life all figured out. I’m willing to bet you don’t.
Lol calling me out!! Yes, I know exactly what to do but I’m procrastinating by watching UA-cam. Thank you for this! 😂
No, you think you know exactly what you have to do and assume because you know everyone must know.
Thank you for sharing these videos are straight to the point. Clear and is good for my Autistic brain plus this is more motivating then videos like ..oh go for a run get out there with loud music 🙄. This as inspiration motivation action 😃
Love how people show support, early, before they could've finished the video😊
Happy new year everybody!!🎉
bro im literrary in tears ... thank you so much
Sitting down and writing notes about the to me important things that you said felt promising. I feel like I’m in my journey to feeling better about and improving myself and writing it down and being able to look at it again whenever I need it, is really supporting me. So thank you for this glimpse of how I can better myself :)
Man, you don't even know how much I needed this.. thank you for such an amazing gift for new year.
You are so freaking inspirational bro! Thank you 🙏🏾
My 16 year old son sent me a link for this video and already started trying things out.
Good point. This way schools support lack of responsibility in young people
So true! Idk why people can't just say, "My bad I fucked up. This or that was my mistake, I apologize." Nobody says those things it seems. It's so easy and makes people respect you if anything.
I never even watched that video bc I got even more depressed and hopeless just reading the title ... thank u for doing this! 🙏🏼❣️
It's amazing how these little things make a profound difference in our lives. Thank you for making this ❤😊
1. Body language - open posture, eye contacts, greet people.
2. Don’t check your phone
3. Be early to things - show up 5-10 min early for everything.
4. Stop making excuses
5. Develop internal locus of control - focus on what you can control.
6. Don’t steal the spotlight - stop talking start asking questions.
7. Don’t Detract - don’t gossip about other people.
8. Be consistent - be same in front and behind people.
9. Don’t wish for success, Plan for it
10. Grow - do activities that make you feel strong.
11. Don’t Despair - have hope, conceptualise where you are going.
Thanks for dropping a video for the people working on New Years Eve :--)
I love these tips. Thank you!!
"If you're not going to do anything about it, don't talk about it."
Great video to start off my 2024.
Love the first tip. I moved to Spain in 2022. And I will never forget the day I realized how much direct eye contact I was getting. People in the US don't like looking you in the eyes. It comes off as aggressive or intrusive. Also, there are far fewer people laser-focused on their phones 24/7. And you see strangers conversing ... far more heads looking straight ahead and eyes taking in the world
Thank you for being a voice of calm in the storm that is my life right now.
Focussing on being a better poker player. That's it. 😊👍 Make the best out of every situation, many seemingly bad situations are actually a blessing in disguise.
And not taking everything and everyone so super seriously, also yourself and life in general, is also a big game changer. 😊
I speak from experience, I have multiple health issues to deal with, I broke almost every bone in my body, my heart was broken too of course, i lost jobs, I was addicted to substances and so on, but I always made it out of any shitty situation.
School is mental bro
True
wow, the ending gave me goosbombs. so simple yet so powerful. ty for putting this video together!
another shot of "change your entire life" but nothing ever changes.
Because u give up after 1 day
Just like me 😢 but I won't give up this time
Nothing ever changes because you think watching a video will change you.
@@Mr.Coffee576 what are you doing here then?
well said@@LuffyPlus-01
1:24 oh, I love this tip! I don't know how much it is improving my live or if even will, but when I yesterday asked a casier, how he was doing, he smiled so charmingly, that I was delighted, too! Thank you so much for this tip, Joey!
Keep em coming. I need to start applying these ideas though lol
2024's my comeback, I'll change everything about my life...
hows the comeback bro?
@@siddharth2358 going hard, grinding Karate & MMA. I can fight now. Also started making money side hustling. Life's going uphill bro.
You are good at what you do man. Its inspiring! 👏🏽🙌🏽
Timing this at midnight on NYE is a genius move
The effort you put into your content instead of making a quick buck really shows
Really enjoyed the last tip. I’m working a job that I don’t enjoy and I’m only doing it to pay the bills. I have goals and passions to change my situation but I’ve been stuck in a constant loop of feeling bad about how things are going and it’s hard to get out of. Hopefully in 2024 I can see some change!
I like this style! Entertaining yet raw and real.
nothin like new years to make you realize how unsatisfied you are with life
Then let's change it
Can we get a studio tour? Would love to see all the lights and equipment you have blurred back there. Another great video, love u man
Hope you start posting again. MIss your content.
U did this when GTA 6 was released this year 😢
Listen, it's maybe good for you to be excited for GTA 6 but not everyone will play it either way and so i won't. I have my reasons so i hope you understand.@@himangG
@@himangGIt’s coming out next year actually
why still got that Venom picture lol
Like, gaming by itself isn't the bad thing, "The poison is in the dose"
But yeah, there is a moment in life where games just aren't a priority so, if you did get this out of your life, hope that it is for the best (of your life)
Eat crow
Problems I have when i try to talk are:
- Since its been so long it feels odd to out of nowhere start talking again/they aren’t expecting me to talk to them
- They all know eachother way better than I do so why would they want to talk to me when they can talk to a closer friend
- I can rarely think of anything interesting or meaningful to say
What should I do?
40k weekly profit!... I can now give back to the locals in my community and also support the church.. Investment should always be on any creative man's heart for success in life..God bless America♥️
That's awesome!!! I know nothing about investment and I'm keen on getting started. What are the strategies?.
Wow I'm amazed You mention expert Fergus waylen I thought I'm the only one that benefit from his services
Retirement took a toll on my finances, but with my involvement in the digital market, 27thousand weekly returns has been life changing.
