I love the doll house updates. I'm almost 60. My mother had a HUGE dollhouse in her living room in the '80s. People would come in and rearrange the furniture. Grown men would come in and rearrange the furniture. Watching this makes me nostalgic for her very large dollhouse.

When I was a child, I played in my Papa and Granny's attic. One side was a bedroom, and the other was storage and toys. I was allowed to play with everything in the attic. It IA a wonderful childhood memory. I only wish I had a space like that for my grandchildren.

We adopted our 4 yr. old Granddaughter. My S/O is a woodworker. This gave her the inspo to build a dollhouse and they are now decorating it. It's amazing to see 4yr old Lilianna open, smile, engaged, and excited and looming forward too working on "Her house". My S/O is using this time to connect as well as help Lili work Through some hard stuff for kiddos to verbalize. Just wanted to say thanks!
I have now been sent on a mission to find a 2nd hand sewing machine so they may start sewing drapes and linens. Pretty cool house something so simple can bring a little person and our family so much healing and joy.

Doing one of the rooms as a "traditional" attic would be great because you could stage it to be cute (mini trunks/boxes, maybe a clothing rack, etc) but it would also give you a place to store any miniatures you want to keep but don't want to have out all the time!

Neato - didn’t know there were attic rooms. Someone wrote reading nook/library, which is perfect. I also vote peaceful yoga/exercise room. I just created one in my own attic space this past fall. So meditatively calming, and sometimes my pets come upstairs and join me. Don’t tell, but I was too lazy to do my stretches today and just wanted to drink my coffee and eat some toast made from homemade bread. I feel a little guilty because I could have done that and relaxed after exercising…

I love the dollhouse and anything miniature, so cute! You have made one of my most wanted gift for my daughter, but now that she's 20, I know she'd love it, but the pressure to make one isn't the same..... so I'm getting such enjoyment out of watching you make these rooms just perfect.
I'd love to see part of the attic designed for an older child, like a teen or an adult child that came back home and a spot with boxes of storage with old keepsakes, dress up items from vintage clothes and decorations that parents may choose to keep in the attic. it leaves a lot of room for making fun miniature items, bookcases, old boxes, and old lamps and furniture.
Whatever you do will be awesome. I love watching your videos, especially as a fellow Canadian. I just moved to the East Coast with my mom after living in Ontario my whole life. it's been a big change for me.

My grandad made me a dolls house a bit like this when I was about 4 or 5 and my crafty Nana did the furnishings etc. I am now 41 and have a daughter who I am doing it up for. As I was working on it I found my grandad's pencilled notes with the measurements. It feels amazing to be continuing his creativity to pass the dollhouse down. Looking forward to seeing more of your renovations! X
