This episode was done so well, it's a shame really that it's the only Christmas themed episode for the series. It was directed by Denver Pyle (Uncle Jessie).
Probably not, thanks to all the "politically correctness" crap. "Oh no! That car's got a Confederate flag on it! We need to ban this show! Waaa Waaa Waaa!"
Denver Pyle (Uncle Jesse) and Sorrell Booke (Boss Hogg) were the only two cast members to appear in every episode. of the series. John Schneider (Bo) and Tom Wopat (Luke) were replaced by Byron Cherry (Coy) and Christopher Mayer (Vance) in Season Five, but returned later after Cherry and Mayer were poorly received by the viewing public. Catherine Bach (Daisy) missed one episode because she was filming an episode of "Circus of the Stars". James Best (Sheriff Rosco) missed three episodes over a dispute about his dressing room. Ben Jones (Cooter) missed three episodes over a dispute about whether he should shave his beard or not. Sonny Shroyer (Enos) left the show to star in the spin-off "Enos", but returned after it was cancelled. Rick Hurst (Cletus) was originally a recurring cast member and wasn't made a regular cast member until Sonny Shroyer left. Sorrell Booke was fluent in 8 languages.. Rick Hurst, who played Cletus talked about trying to join in a conversation once with Sorrell Booke (Boss Hogg) and Andrew Robinson, who was playing a villain in an episode, until he realized that Booke and Robinson were talking to each other in Japanese.
How interesting it is that Boss seems to be a speed reader, also a speed wrapper. He can read A Christmas Carol, wrap about 10 gifts all pretty and nicely wrapped and get over to the Duke's farm in about 20 minutes. Of course we don't really know how long it took Boss to do all that, but still he seemed to do it in a hurry.
That painting behind boss hogg 0:59 Mr Been would go on to say " Well, firstly, it's really quite big, which is excellent. because If it were really small, you know, microscopic, then hardly anyone would be able to see it. Which would be a tremendous shame. " 17 years later
I liked Billy Joe Fong. (I think that was his name). I wish they had him in more episodes. And Sheriff Little of Chickasaw County. The actor that played him, Don Pedro Colley and James Best, who played Rosco were actually good friends, and Best actually spoke up for Colley when the show tried to dump him.
I cried when Boss Hogg was alone I grew up in FosterCare Although they tried to make Christmas Special not all of the Toys could bring back the thing I really wanted Thats My 2 Sisters and 1 Brother. The last Christmas I spent with my BirthParents had Security Guards around us because it was also the Last time the Parents were allowed to see me ever and my 2 Sisters and 1 Brother, There isnt a Day I wish we could be together, Oh and the reason There was Security at the Last Christmas we celebrated was because Both BirthParents were charged with abuse and neglect. I wonder if my BirthParents trying to kidnap me from Preschool was the reason they werent allowed to see me after that sad day
I'm glad you were able to get out of that situation and I hope you're with a better family now. I don't understand how parents can abuse or neglect their own children.
@kellyberry I admire you for sharing your experience with us thank you for reminding me of just how important family is and I really hope you’ve been able to be happy you’ve been through so much but God Almighty is a loving God and he protected you and God sees everything so what you’ve been through he’ll makes sure that everything that’s happened to you he’ll punish your parents the main thing is you made it live your the best life you can ✊🏽👏🏽
this warmed my heart until my brother was like "haha, dumb." and I realized that its kinda dumb/sappy, but if it warmed my heart then it doesn't matter 😊
I watch the whole episode on Christmas day. Christmas wouldn't be the same without watching the dukes of hazzard Christmas.
Me too it's a Christmas tradition ever year l whish it wou have been a two hr epsiod
They should have portrayed the episode like A Christmas Carol
“Lonely as ole Waylon on the night of the Country Music Association Awards”. 😂😂😂
😂😂
Jesse Duke would never turn anyone away on Christmas, least of all his oldest friend.
This show has been special to me for many years. I would watch this with my grandparents and my dad.
I love how they all act like they have never done anything bad to eachother, true Christmas spirit right there!
Right on ✊🏽👏🏽🤣🤣🤣
A 💯 percent family show.

Christmas is not like this anymore makes me sad
Coming from a tough cookie (Me)
That was so sweet of Boss hog.
God bless ☦
Aww, so sweet. Regardless of all the hot pursuits they loved each other.
I liked that part of the show. No matter what Boss Hogg and Rosco tried to do to the Dukes, they never wanted anything bad to
happen to them..
Will we ever have a show like this again with Christmas? So warming.
Probably not, thanks to all the "politically correctness" crap. "Oh no! That car's got a Confederate flag on it! We need to ban this show! Waaa Waaa Waaa!"
greatest show of all time
“ Little fat buddy “ always made me 😂 ! Two great characters so greatly missed ! 👍

Aww, they bought Flash a Christmas present
You should’ve included the ending! It’s the only dukes of hazzard that ends like that

RIP James Best Sorrell Brooke Denver Pyle Flash
My favorite all.
Io amo questa serie anni 80
This was a show my whole family watched together. Political correct bs had it canceled. There was every race of people in the show.
I liked Billy Joe Fong. (I think that was his name). I wish they had him in more episodes. And Sheriff Little of Chickasaw County.

Agree!
And they weren't racist or anything bad either. Just good people.
This would have been a great final episode to end the 7 seasons.
Merry Christmas Flash, AKA Velvet ears!
The Boars nest looks so peaceful 😏

It’s to bad that they cut part of a seen off were it describes on the story of Charles Dickens the Christmas Carol.
Merry Christmas 2021☺🎅🎁🎍🎆🙏⛪

this warmed my heart until my brother was like "haha, dumb." and I realized that its kinda dumb/sappy, but if it warmed my heart then it doesn't matter 😊
