"hello black friend who's also my boss therefore proving I cant be racist..."
Most people unironically hate their boss, but I don't think that's what they were going for.
Typical right wing junk .
These people would scream "self-hating white man" at me, but oh their ONE black friend can't be wrong about anything.
*Proceed to generic greeting associated with black community
@@FrozEnbyWolf150 I have a dozen bosses or so. I love 6 or them and could not care less about the other six.
The old guy shaking the beer, then opening it and complaining about getting doused in beer is actually THE perfect analogy for conservative victimhood, 10/10!
Pretty much. Conservatives don't have much have an understanding the of humor... You'd have to use much more of your brain to be able to actually tell a good joke.
There's no way they're that self aware...
And then he says people who've been getting beer dumped on them by others for centuries are hogging all the paper towels and gets the government and the mindcucked to bring them all the paper towels in the vicinity by the truckload so no one else gets paper towels and then he says they don't know what to do with the paper towels when they have them while spitting on their already beer-soaked bodies😂
@@EliteWokiesNonEliteRichHuhlolz Paper towels cause rashes and are a conspiracy to get everyone addicted to fentanyl made by gay frogs. It's all part of the woke agenda.
As a black person I love when when conservatives play the “black co-signer” move. Because as long as you have one black acquaintance you can’t possible be racist.
Birchem also has a black best friend. They REALLY want us to know their characters aren’t racist, just anti-LGBT. That’s progress, in a sense.
I mean, honestly. I don’t think this character or Birchem are racist. They just like to complain about things changing, which is literally the name of this show. But otherwise they don’t even seem political at all; let alone conservative. It’s like the creators of both shows either don’t know any real conservatives or can’t realistically portray them in a positive way.
@@DoctorBiobrain Funnily enough, Birchum has a gay friend as well
This is exactly what they say that companies who use "force diversity" do
@@bernardomarkuskampffdemelo4323Ironically, that character is causing their target audience to not watch the show because they don't want to watch LGBTQ people even if they're making fun of them badly.
The guy can't even drink a beer because the can has bright colors on it. What a wimp. A normal person wouldn't care. If they like drinking the beer, they will just drink the freaking beer.
Yup. Ironically I feel like refusing to drink the beer is far less masculine than ignoring the can lmao
@@OscarLangleySoryu Yep. Nothing said pansy ass like getting worked up over the design on the container your drink came in. Like a 3 year old who won't drink their juice because it has to be in their special dinosaur cup.
Hard to respect or take seriously anyone who’s easily defeated by color.
so he woudnt be able to drink any beer in a car with anything other than dark colours ion the can then!

All conservative "comedy" boils down to to "I'm to fragile to adapt to a changing world so everyone must accommodate me."
@ToonamiT0M *comidy
Yeah. It's just "I'm scared shitless that my power and privilege over everyone else as a cishet white man is fading and now everyone being equal to me means I won't be the center of attention anymore in politics."
That's 6 times you've used the word "to" ! wth
Choosing "girls" instead of "women" as an opposite for "men" says a lot. 😑
Ehhh, it's not like conservatives are always subtle with their preferences...
That was my immediate thought. This cartoon is a better parody of itself than anyone could have hoped for.
It's a... choice, I guess👀😬
I noticed that, too, but if we want to be generous, it could be a nod to the theme song from "All in the Family." "Gils were girls/and men were men"). The house interior looks like Archie Bunker's house , too. Probably giving them too much credit.
No it doesn't. Its just a cultural quirk that most people don't think about. Although I am in favor of ending this ridiculous infantilization of women on both the puritanical woke types and among actual misogynists.
if you had told me this was a parody of conservatism, i might have believed you
Poe's Law in action.
@@goofusmaximus1482 I wouldn't be surprised if at least some of the people involved snuck in some real satire of their target audience. On purpose.
@@zemorph42 but without any obvious indicator of it being satire, Poe's Law says it's inevitable that someone will mistake it for the genuine article.
@@goofusmaximus1482 Well, since it's made by conservatives, anyone hiding any "woke" beliefs while working on the program would have to be as subtle as possible. Or maybe it's just an unintentional self-own.
Originally when watching it, I kept on thinking it was a parody even tho I knew it wasn’t.
The problem with these "anti-woke" cartoons is that they prioritize their propaganda and "owning the Libs" over being funny or entertaining.
All while accusing everyone else of only caring about their agenda
And the people making them don't get that THAT is why they didn't make it in Hollywood, but they're so arrogant that they can't see that they're just not entertaining, so they blame everyone else.
To them, thats the same thing.

They're that unpleasant character in a lot of cartoons that quietly laughs at their own insult "humor"
They should replace the laugh track with Jeb Bush saying, "Please clap."
I have never seen an animated show with a laugh track. The laughs are supposed to appear to come from a live audience. Are they animating the show live?
Conservatives are bad at art, comedy, acting, painting, etc.. I can't help but wonder if it's got anything to do with their complete lack of empathy for others.
Look into George H.W. Scherf Jr. he was our president after all.
@@WilliamBrowninganimating live on camera is quite the strain on the wrists of koreans.
@@WilliamBrowning that's funny because a conservative who failed at art eventually became the uber conservative with the little mustache

rubin would choose his paycheck over his child....
I'm wondering when he'll pull a Milo Yiannopoulos and go "Ex-Gay" and convert to Catholicism for the sake of his career
The conservatives were right for the wrong reasons, and don’t even recognize they’re the reason.
Conservatives are actually mad that kids go to school to learn new things 💀
oh they would take us back to stone age But worst because it would an imaginary free market stone age and you are not aloud to share But die working.
Right? Maybe the orginal plan was to have a second younger child, but the daughter is like 16, so him saying "where did you learn that word" makes him seem like a controlling weirdo who's about to move his family to a compound somewhere so he can be in complete control of everything they learn about.
@OPdbx why do you think they're working so hard to restructure schools and get "more businessmen as university heads" (-wealthy elite Bill Ackman).
If you aren't learning anything but what the power wants you to learn, power will remain in the hands of who it's supposed to, according to them.
If they can stop you from learning, they can be the ones to teach you. They can tell you & your children Lincoln actually fought for the Not So Bad, based Confederacy
That’s why they want The Ten Commandments posted in schools; anything thought up in the past 2000 years is just too radical for them!
Conservatives are triggered by new things.

The main character seems to be a cross between Archie Bunker and Rodney Dangerfield. The irony is "All in the Family" was making fun of Archie's racism and bigotry, and showing what a fool he was for holding onto his beliefs. Unfortunately, over the years, he became conservative Baby Boomers' role model.
My thoughts exactly
Yup spot on
They'd call archie a marxist morderate these days.
Conservatives don't get the point of any of these characters and stories, which explains why all their cartoons is just yelling "WOKE BAD" in your face. Things have to be spelled out for them
Conservatives don't understand critical thinking.

It's so ironic that they're ripping off 'All in the Family' without Norman Lear's warmth, empathy, and love to say nothing of the laugh out loud humor.

They're normalizing making threats.
They have already done that.
Russian organized CoD cosplay was the norm for CAIR events back in 2010.
I don’t think they need to normalize it. The insurgence proved many are violent.
Yeah cause heaven forbid their nearly adult children have to learn about people different from them existing. Gotta love conservative logic. They'll force 9 year olds to give birth but want to restrict a 16+ year old teenager from any LGBTQ topics because they're "too young" or whatever.
I think the implication was that he was talking calmly, but the people of the school took it as a threat.
The whole idea is screaming "ARE YOU TRIGGERED? ARE YOU TRIGGERED? ARE YOU TRIGGERED? ARE YOU TRIGGERED? ARE YOU TRIGGERED? ARE YOU TRIGGERED? ARE YOU TRIGGERED? ARE YOU TRIGGERED? ARE YOU TRIGGERED? ARE YOU TRIGGERED? ARE YOU TRIGGERED?" to people who aren't going to watch it and not out of protest, but because only hardcore right wingers and liberal content creators are on Twitter anymore (with a few exceptions).
I mean...does anybody here think that any of the characters, including Norm, listen to country music?
I’m assuming the black character loves country music and hates rap. And he probably complains about black culture and constantly says things that white conservatives would like to say but they don’t want to be called racist. Just like how he was wearing a Redskins shirt to show that he’s not offended by racism.

This show is literally that meme of that kid shoving a stick
in the front spokes of his bike only to blame someone else for his tumble.
I still dont get why conservatives want so badly someone to hate. Why is it so hard for them to accept people and love thy neighbor?
Because they’re contrarians and can only identify who they are based on who they aren’t. If they weren’t hating someone they wouldn’t have anything to say at all. Plus, they don’t like themselves and need to dump their pain onto others. It’s really kinda sad when you think about it.
I wanna say that it's the enormous amounts of money flowing into right wing news and misinformation. My right wing family members in Texas are insane, all up in facebook spreading misinformation with random AI posts they share along with fox news clips. But my more center right and left family in other states that don't use social media or watch fox news aren't insane. It's a huge difference to talk to a person with their own opinion as opposed to someone spouting fox news talking points without a real thought of their own. My parents in law are right wingers, and some time around 2016 they started to become terribly transphobic and hateful while watching fox news. I myself am trans so it was odd to see their previous opinions overwritten by a bunch of tv commentators telling them what to believe.
I think if they're into the right wing media that's spending millions trying to direct their viewer's anger at different groups, then their mind is filled to the brim with what they've been told. And they wanna believe it, it makes them feel angry and righteous. Always thought it was crazy how their propaganda is so strong that these lone people will go gun down random other citizens, but no one is going after the billionaires. There simply is no left wing equivalent to what these billionaires are doing by buying up all the news stations and trying to get into schools. There's the rest of us pushing against it to keep our rights, but they think themselves righteous. Hard to argue with people who are told they are carrying out the will of their god, and by people who have an ulterior movie to consolidate their power.
Right wing has co-opted the idea of fighting for their rights. While trying to take rights from others, they paint themselves a victim when people don't like it. Somehow in their minds they've created this alternate reality where it's actually the minorities forcing themselves onto conservatives, and yet no one has gone and shot up a right wing gathering the way right wingers are giddy to kill people at LGBT clubs or pride events. To them, erasing minorities is as much of their right as that minority's right to exist.

It's a rehash of "All In The Family". The main character, is Archie, his wife "Edith" his daughter "Gloria" and the "woke" kid is "Meathead" with the boss being "George Jefferson". Norman Lear is rolling over in his grave. Poor man.
What's hilarious is that they are lampooning All in The Family, and Carroll O'Connor, who played Archie Bunker, was in real life a flaming far left liberal (God bless him). And Dave, I thought your name was Uncle Tom. It's not?

I saw the entire clip three days ago. I actually thought it would be fun to watch really stoned if I were 20. Dave Rubin doesn't even know he was called out for being gay when his character was blamed by the black dad for "turning my son Trans". Like this is not the exact thing dads would say in the 1970's when their son showed up with a boyfriend? It was hilarious in the fact that showed intolerance as acceptable and acceptance as intolerable. I remember my dad saying about my Malaysian girlfriend 30 years ago, "I don't usually like Asians but Sharon is OK". I asked him if he knew any other Asian people and he just went red in the face. "You met one Asian person and you liked her but all the rest are bad even though you have never met one?" My father was able to outgrow his bigotry after that, even at 50 years old. Four years younger than I am today.
holy shit! deprogramming racists is literally God's work. ty for your service!!!!
@@phoenixc4324 Jesus man. not exactly excited about your characterisation of my personal story. The truth is that we do get set in our ways. I did not deprogram fuck all. I put an accurate proposition in front of my father.
@@MrEiniweiniTo be fair, I've seen this rhetoric all the time on Reddit. "I de-programed my mom/dad and all I had to do was block Fox News!" You're not wrong to note though that there is usually an element of agency involved to change your mind.
Here's what I want to ask you: Did these conversations with your father happen across a long period of several years or did you convince him on the spot? I've been trying to argue against my family's conspiratorial outlook to no avail myself, kudos your dad changed for the better.
@@cloakedsecrecy1925 The conversations happened over time. My nation, Australia is very different to the USA, in that we actually had a "white Australia policy" until 1973. My father had joined the military in 1965 before Asian immigration even began with the first arrival of Vietnamese refugees. He just had not had the opportunity to meet any Asian people over the 22 years he had served in the military.
As for arguing against your family's conspiratorial outlook, you could just point out the more likely conspiracies. Is it more likely that Democrats are weak on the border to increase their voting base or do the Republicans keep the border weak so that business leaders have a cheap labor pool? Is it more likely that 97% of climate scientists are lying about climate change or that 3% make really good money to lie on behalf of oil companies? Things like that.
I did this to my grandpa before he died when he made me cry about my black boyfriend and I yelled at him about “ would you say that in front of your innocent half black granddaughter?” “ well no she’s different.” “ how is she any different? It’s not her fault. It’s not anyone’s fault…”
I remember specifically posing the question that I didn’t understand… “ you fought in World War II against horrible atrocities, that targeted people for the way they were born, just to come home and treat Black people different?” I just remember crying and leaving and then the next time I went over there, he kind of offhandedly mentioned that he noticed racial discrimination and police brutality and he thought that was wrong… He was born in 1926 so… He was in his 90s but I like to think that I made him reflect on this and he did change… at least a bit before he died
So its all in the family, but so removed in not remembering that Archie and George were not the good guys, Archie, less than George, while the loving and accepting wives and children were the ones we were supposed to relate to. I believe it was the first show to even have a Trans character ever on television named Beverly, who was Ediths friend, and someone Archie was shamed into seeing the humanity of, which he did by the end of the episode. Conservatives just dont understand media at all.
EXACTLY! I just posted that. Well spotted!
Precisely. All In The Family was Archie learning to challenge and shine a light on his timeworn values and beliefs . This series (and others like it) tells people that they should be doubling down on them. Really, comparing this to All In The Family is too much of a stretch in comparison.

I like how Birchem also has a black best friend. They REALLY need to virtue signal that they’re not racist.
So I’m guessing the right still hasn’t figured out the actual joke of “All in the Family…”
Self debasing for that sweet cash
What’s even funnier is even right wingers hate this simply for the fact they have a lgbtq character in it.😂
The weirdest thing that I don't see anyone commenting on is the idea that the guy is mad at this random NB that they just met "is MAKING their child transition" and yet even after they explain that they aren't 21 the guy is like "DRINK THE FUCKING BEER ILLEGALLY". Now, regardless of if you think the drinking age should be lowered, no conservative in this country is actually pushing for that policy and they are all about "law and order".
So he wants to INFLUENCE underage folks to drink beer and therefore break the law, and will gladly make fun of them when they say they'd rather not, but he gets mad at them when they... exist because they are INFLUENCING his kids to transition somehow?
Im surprised anyone is in Twitter/X at all anymore. Participation is consent.
"Look! It's my token black friend! We do the black handshake! He says y'all and everything!"
I cannot believe there’s TWO of these things now
Dave Rubin is convinced that being gay makes him immune from being seen as a right wing bigot.
_Ernst Rohm was also gay, Dave._
Actually so was Hitler
@cantin8697 It's funny how the "hivemind" argument is always dragged out to defend human garbage like Dave Rubin.
_Very funny, isn't it mein herr._
Discount birchum which is discount family guy which was discount simpson. This crap keeps getting worse lololol.
It's so heavily discounted, at this point they should be paying me to watch it.
I thought it was hilarious when they get mad at the non binary person for refusing to drink when they're underage, really shows their hand.
Kinda funny how all these conservative shows have woke characters and their audience gets mad at said wokeness
You'd think they'd only have white cis straight characters
I don’t think they dislike woke characters being on the show since their personalities are solely about hating woke people and they wouldn’t even know what to say if wokeness ended.
I think the problem is that the main character only does weak pronoun jokes instead of really laying into them as dangerous freaks and making them cry and quit being trans. These people only understand insult comedy and they judge humor based on how mean it is.
Self-hatred at it's finest.
Just another cartoon that's basically a power fantasy about how the main character who's so cool absolutely destroys the woke liberal side character. Most of these shows can be chalked up to this lazy formula
He didnt even do that. He comes off as a sad sack loser complaining about things he cant control but also dont really matter in his pathetic existence. The printing on the can doesn't change the taste of the beer.
For those of you too young to remember this is a spoof on All in the family. Leave it up to today’s right wing to think archie bunker ( the old guy) was the good guy.
8:17 "look at Poopy"
They're stunning, brave, and woke.
They look kind of sleepy for me
I am going to ship the daughter with the non binary character and make them go no contact with the dad!
Dave Rubin thinks he's a leopard and not someone whose face will be eaten. Or he's more aware than that and just expects to be eaten last. But Dave isn't that self aware.
I saw this on Twitter and yeah...this is Awful!
They really suck at writing comedies.
Anyone notice that the house is based on archie bunkers house in all in the family ?
Turning Dave Rubinism past five is an atrocity let alone turning it up to a 100
X, where humor goes to die.
SCOTUS says homeless should be jailed
These conservative comedies are like when you try to dunk on your friend in school but it's so cringe everyone laughs at you instead. 🐳🐳
I think the premise is that proximity is supposed to create a feeling of empathy but that the right wing rejects empathy and Christianity both.
Anyone else notice that Rachel Levine's character has a super manly/masculine voice? Sounds like their way of misgendering her.
They're definitely invoking Archie Bunker with their Norm character, except they don't realize that Archie Bunker was the punchline of all of the jokes because of his ignorant out of touch opinions. He was used to highlight the problems that were going on at the time and was always juxtaposed against Michael or Gloria who would then monologue about why he was wrong about everything. It's like they're saying, "wouldn't it be funny if Archie said all that racist stuff but no one pushed back on him?"
It’s not good propaganda because they’re legitimately trying to just be funny that’s what makes it so much worse. They are actually trying so hard😂😂😂😂
"Sir, this is a Wendy's" the cartoon
