- I recently purchased the Axminster EX-21 Scroll Saw for a new channel I've started...Intarsia And Scroll Saw Woodworking. The new channel will just be for Scroll Saw projects only, although one or two videos will be on here too :-)
This is the first video I've made for the sister channel...if scroll saws and Intarsia interests you, then perhaps the new channel will too?

Just done the same thing and brought a scroll saw myself but never used one before so will be watching closely. Thanks for sharing.
No problem Martin. Im looking forward to learning myself. It seems quite a specialised tool and the intarsia isn't something many people have heard of hence why i decided to create a separate channel just for scroll sawing and intarsia work. Im hoping by doing that it'll be easier for people who have an interest in Intarsia etc to find what they are looking for and hopefully a place where people can comment and help myself and others...Ive had a bit of practice this weekend with the saw and its not as easy as i first thought...but practice makes perfect hopefully :)

I got one a few weeks ago but had it replaced due to the blade no being central in the table "hole".
Just got the replacement yesterday.

No Problem...that's what I like about Axminster. It's one of those few brands I feel i can trust when something goes wrong. There were a couple of saw i was looking at but I liked the fact that the Axminster Trade come with 3 years warranty so that kind of swung it for me. Hopefully i'll not have to ever send it back but if i do, then at least i know theres help there if i need it :)

Great saw. I have the Excalibur which is very similar to Axminster. I believe Excalibur was bought by them or their mother company. I have had it for three years and use it almost every day all year long.
Yeah I’m finding it to be a great Saw too. Initially I got it for Intarsia work but I’ve ended up using it for quite a lot of other projects too.
Excellent choice of saw sir. Not that I am biased being an EX-21 owner myself. Noooooo.
Haha...yeah, its a great saw. Id initially gone to get the EX16 but the EX21 was on offer for less so it made sense to get the bigger one :)
