    I was so lost until I found your video. The written manual instructions that Moducase provides have to be about the worse I have ever seen. I am so glad you figured it out and then shared it with everyone, because I was struggling. You da man!

      you're welcome. the glue isn't a bad idea, but if it leaks onto the rails, could be a pain to get off

      @@thecollector7347 I meant superglue them beforehand so they have time to dry. The first one I did without superglue and it was a big pain trying to get the front to slide on. It looked like the washers sliding down on you wasn’t much of a problem, how’d you manage that, just tighter fitting than what they send out now?

    Thank you very much.. i’m about to pull the trigger on this. The only large scale figures I have are the jazz Inc. 1966 Batmobile and the 1/6 Batman figures. My other stuff is basically military 1/48 and 1/18 scale. If they had a case with another shelf halfway in the middle of the case it would be a no-brainer for me. I just have to figure out a way possibly to get a middle shelf in there. Again thank you for the helpful assembly video.

    I was thinking of getting this case. I have a Kinetiquettes Dizzy diorama statue that is just huge (37cm D x 67cm W x 39cm H!!) that I am having a hard time finding a case for. I had been thinking I'd need a custom case but the Sixth 110 looks like it'd be big enough and for the size seems reasonably priced. Most anything else that you can buy at a store that would fit is $500+ and doesn't give as much of a view of the statue. I think I can probably fit my F4F Phoenix Wright in there with Dizzy even. Thanks for the videos!

    Great video. just would add a few things. My screws were not already set in the bars and there were short and long screws. there were 9 short ones and about 20 long ones. only found out later that the short ones are for connecting cases. Also, in the step on connecting the side bars to the back bars, I would emphasize where you connect it. I ended up connecting the side bar to the wrong part of the back bar and didn't realize it until the top piece didn't fit. I had to take the whole thing apart and start over.

    • @thecollector7347
      @thecollector7347  2 роки тому

      Hey! so the screws not coming on the bars, that's new! I covered that in an updated case I did most recently, but at the time of this video that's how they did them.
      Sorry about your mishap on putting the side bar in the wrong spot, I thought I was showing it a little more clearly, your the first one I have heard run into that issue. not sure how it could even go into the wrong part of the back bar as you need to go through it to screw it in

    For anyone like me that planned to put this on some kind of stand, the stand MUST be larger than the display since the bottom piece isn't attached, it just lays there and there is no way to attach it to the frame. make sure you cut some wood the size of the frame to support it.

    Hey man, I'm hoping you can do me a solid. Can you tell me the maximum depth dimensions from the back of the Sixth cabinet to the acrylic front panel? The website lists 16.14" but I'm not sure if that includes the width of the front rail before butting up to the acrylic panel. Meaning is 16.14" of felt surface or is there a bit of extra play? I'm hoping my Sideshow jabba fits inside of it. It's about 16.75" deep.

    Great video - I have some of these currently on the way so this was very informative. Curious - can the connectors between the two lighting tracks be tucked out of sight similar to how you handled the connector on the side, or is there too much slack in the wiring preventing that? Thanks!

    • @thecollector7347
      @thecollector7347  3 роки тому

      you can pretty much control that slack, but between light strips you need some tape or tac to hid that

      Hey. Sorry you feel that way. After 4 years you’re the only one who felt this way that I know of, I didn't skip any parts ( unless it was just repeating a step ). At this time the washers came pre assembled with screws like moducase always did. its only recent they dont assemble them before hand, and you would still do them the same way I did here regardless. This is the correct way to use the washers and screws... Im not sure what part of the screws you're misunderstanding ?
