I'm N3 level, beginning very slowly with N2 materials but i always find it difficult to really understand grammar points especially since N3 and your videos are such a great way for me to better learn those! Thank you so much for your hard work!
Great resource as always! I really like that you go through the variants as well. There's so many times when I'm immersing that a familiar construct comes up with something attached like とする and I get hung up trying to understand how (or if!) that modifies the meaning.
Is he redoing the earlier N5 Genki videos? I expected the full compilation of genki I to be done by now. Either way, very excited for N3, it is my weakest!
Thanks for sharing the knowledge. One question I had has about the examples using Hiragana. Was that and stylistically decision for teaching purposes or it has another connotation when used that way?

It means chaotically. Somewhere in that meaning space, try not to take that as a literal translation. The kanji to me seem to be used only for their sound with the meaning being very loosely related.
めちゃくちゃ or めちゃ is just like “SUPER” in English. Example: この車はめちゃくちゃかっこいいですね = This car is super cool, right? You can also hear just めちゃ used as well, but めちゃくちゃ seems to give the word more emphasis, at least from my experience talking with my Japanese friends. I know Jisho gives the translation from the first reply as the number 1 meaning, but that’s not the way it’s mostly used in my experience. It’s more like “super xyz”, or like “So xyz”, “incredibly xyz”, etc. HTH!
