I find that a lot of times, unless you're speaking with a teacher, you'll never get corrected for semantically and audibly similar grammars/words like 向き、向け. So without properly revising them from time to time I tend to blend them together and get them wrong all the time.

I think ながらも is confusing because a lot of examples of it can show no contrast, so it just means something like "while also" or just a way to connect the two parts of the sentence and it can be hard to fit it to any type of meaning of "but" or "despite" or "even though" And in those cases it can be hard to see why it is even being used and what value it adds to the sentence.
would be nice to have take away notes: 向け noun+むけ intended for 子供向けの本 for kids 向き suitable for むしろ rather instead better. Compare two matters. Express formers is better/truth. むしろ すしをたべたい ながらも but altough despite, while, at the same time. 裕福ながらも孤独化 wealthy ゆうふくbut lonely こどく huh まずしいながらも although they are poor,
