- Managed to get a good day weather wise so I headed down to Myponga Beach again in search of some larger Silver Whiting. Armed with Mullet Mix and plenty of burley, anticipation was high. I did manage to catch some Silver Whiting but the size was a little too small for my liking so none were kept but luckily there were a few other species around.
I do apologies for the dirty lens at the start of the video and the the camera angle, as it wasn't the best. Apart from these problems I hop you enjoy the video and if you do please like and subscribe!

Cheers! It’s good to hear you are enjoying the videos and I hope you have been getting into a few fish! It usually takes me 30-40min drive time to get to any beach from where I live so I prefer to fish the lower Fleurieu, there are some very picturesque places to fish.

Yeah, I remember reading articles about it! I think a few people made a mess up the creek so the farmer put up a fence and closed access to everyone, bit of a bugger!

Cheers, glad you are enjoying the videos!🍻 The setup you commonly see me use is a Samurai S002X (2-4kg) 7’2”, I need a new reel but currently I’m using a 2000 (old size) Team Daiwa Advantage, 8lbs braid for the main line, trace is fluorocarbon 10lbs and I’m using Daiichi 1720 size 8 hooks for the mullet, garfish etc and size 4 for whiting.
