Man, I miss that plane. So many planes that I flew on as a kid and young adult in the 80's and 90's that I missed out on flying on one last time before they were retired. As for the 767-200, I have memories of flying on it on trips to Europe. It was a great plane. One of the last jets that actually sounded like a jet. Don't get me wrong. The 777 and 787 are powerful and efficient. But they sound like a air dryer powering up at the car wash when they throttle up.
I remember flying to Sweden and back first class from Philadelphia back in 2008. That was on a USAirways Boeing 767. I will NEVER forget it!! It was AWESOME!!
Being on a plane and taking off from the runway is one of the most awesome experiences one could have. Going from 0 to about 300+ MPH in a few seconds and then going airborne is just awesome!.
Hey there hkdiva2015. I was actually sitting in the first row of first class (2J) on an AA 767. The service is similar to a single aisle but alittle more elaborate.
Because of the proximity to LaGuardia's airspace I think - or at least it may be given how the 31R end is used for landing due to the proximity to LGA.
My guess is that you're probably viewing from seat 3J in the "True" First Class compartment in that particular flight? By the way, is the service distinct from the single aisle First Class cabin services?
Um, yes, JFK is very close to LaGuardia, though the physical airports are separated by miles, the airport's respective AIRSPACE border each other. That is why, from what I've heard, it is very rare to take off from 31R.
It will be sad to these birds leaving AA's fleet. They have been in service for over 30 years and they as much of an industry workhorse as 747. They will be missed, but then again environmentalists hate things that can last forever.
imagine being in 'last class' in the back, and arrive with hundreds more in yr pocket, then those in 'first class' - its silly paying for 'air' for 'comfort' when u can pay for 'regular ticket' and get there the same time! i mean, if u want to use the excuse of 'comfort', then forget 'first class' and rent a jet for yourself, and have the entire plane to yourself!
I JUST LOVE THE WAY THIS PLANE HAS PLENTY OF GAS IN IT AND IT HAS PASSENGERS ON THE PLANE AND ITS GETTING ON THE RUNWAY AND ITS GOING TO TAKEOFF AND RUN UP INTO THE SKY AND LAND AT THE NEXT AIRPORT AND GET PARKED AT THE GATE AND GET PLENTY OF GAS IN THE PLANE AND LET THE PASSENGERS OFF THE PLANE AND LET THE NEXT GROUP ON THE PLANE AND THEN GET READY TO TAKEOFF AGAIN

Nice video work. Surprising AA's still operating the 767-200.
Not anymore sadly

You are welcome my dear Friend. I love traveling with you. Can't wait to see where we go this year.
I liked the shadow of the airplane on the clouds. Don't usually get to see that. Only see the shadows on the ground. :)
¡Buen vídeo! saludos desde Valencia, Venezuela.
Love Those CF6 Engines
Yep, there's nothing better than sitting in first class of a wide-body!
Great video
Y do I like watching this stuff!?

I like how the fan in the engine was spinning very slow during flight.
What a rapid climb!
Its possible that the sun illuminated by the shiny metal of the aircraft created this prism effect
beautiful shadow at 4:50

The take off made no sense to me, I thought he would be able to simple turn the heading right away. Either way great video.
