Rory is a most brilliant presenter. And, if James Bond is listening, I hope he selects a Panamera with a gun metal gray exterior, and Black interior :)
This over an M5 any day - more exclusive and better looking. Plus, Porsches over £100k hold their value a lot better than other brands, which lose about a 1/3 immediately.
I think calling any Porsche an Aston killer is a bit wrong... Porsche have ALLWAYS made the better car, but , put it this way: Noone "likes" Aston, they ADORE them, and how good the car is never really comes into it, they're just beyond anything else. Brain says Porsche, Heart says Aston, and the heart isn't so easily swained....
I wish the styling was a bit more aggressive on the Turbo model. It doesn't look special enough to justify the price IMO, but it's got that cool Q-car vibe. Side note - If we're really talking about an Aston Martin killer... I always wanted Porsche to make a two-door coupe on the Panamera/Bentley Conti/RS7 platform; Way more aggressive, sexy, sporty, wide-body styling with more luxury, space and practicality than the 911... Like a new 948 I guess? I think the Porsche range needs that car to complete it and fill that gap for folks who need a bigger car than a 911, but don't want an 'understated family car' with 4 doors. Obviously they won't make it because it would cannibalise 911 sales (possibly even Bentley Conti sales) and big coupes don't sell like they used to, but it would be my perfect car!
They could make a two door Panamera and call it a 928. It could have even more powerful engines/batteries than the 911 bc it would be more of a grand tourer than a sports car.
I understand but also disagree (not with the 2 door version though, I like that) Porsche, for the most part has always been a understated brand except for the GT Models. I for my part prefer it for a daily drive because it is so under the radar, nobody would ever expect this thing to go 300kp/h+ und the Autobahn.

Porsche Panamera is such an underrated super saloon, my choice over E class, 5 series, or Audi A6. Too bad they cancelled estate version but still love the update they did. And this spec with green and bronze wheels is just perfection ❤❤❤. Rory great video keep it up 🤟🤟😍
To be fair and honest, the 'estate' version wasn't really comparable to an E-class wagon or Audi A6 Avant. Gran Turismo was the correct nomenclature and it was my favourite Panamera shape.
No my friend Bond needs Aston Martin cars to keep up the identity of a globe trotting playboy among the rich. His swag is his cover as an agent.Thats why he drives the best, dresses the best, and dines the best.Thats why he is BOND.
The Porsche is technically better in every way, no argument whatsoever. But I don't desire one. I do however desire an Aston. IF they made a 2dr Coupe of the Panamera as a spiritual successor to the 928, I may change that opinion!
Good God can you imagine trying to repair and maintain this car after it runs out of factory warranty? so many things these days to malfunction or break....
If you look on autotrader at all used Porsches from 2020 and newer you’ll find that the cheapest cars are diesel macans and the taycan. A 4 year old panamera vs a 4 year old taycan. Which would you choose.
Actually it's not THE original Oak Green Metallic. This is Oak Green Metallic Neo, original Oak Green Metallic is a little lighter and a little bit more yellow.
The Panamera is alwasy cool. Comfort and performance. But looks-wise, I like the A7 (I have one) and the Taycan (specially the touring) better. But it is a cool car.
Downsides is it’s too quiet and expensive repairs? It’s a Panamera not a 911. And those who can afford this are absolutely not worried about that. Not to mention warranty.
If you were an actual spy, would you drive an Aston Martin or a Porsche Panamera?

Aston Martin any time
Hey Rory, Aston Martin is not worried about this oversized 4 door VW bettle.
Aston
Nothing is more beautiful than the way this spoiler opens ups
Panamera is one of the most underrated car and sedan. Such a luxury car with sporty handling and lightning fast
Who under rates it?
@@kingkoomymostly the 911 fanboys. They themselves can’t get the idea of a practical 4 door 911

I Agree FOR NOW!!
No estate version? That was The best One 😢😢😢
It's an oversized 4 door VW bettle
I’m genuinely gutted. I loved that version. At least I can keep my kidneys now I suppose
I agree 100%
Estate is the best one? Apparently sales figures told a different story.
Right? Estate should be the default
"That is a classic James Bond"🤣--- Best commentary ever
Bro really called it a Diseased Brown-Interior and said it handles with Pancake-Physics! 🤣🤣🤣
Rory is a gem!
A good looking car..
The prices for vehicles these days are insane
This thing sounds amazing

Panamera's values drop like stone lately. This will not be different.
This car loses value more than any other in this luxury segment. What are you talking about?
Dream car is still the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo. The list of reasons it's amazing is as long as its name.
Mission accomplished as always Rory! Excellent reviews! I love me this one; need one in my life Asap!
I think porsche lost their minds when they chose not to do a Sport Turismo of this gen, it was the one to have, not the coupe!!
Sadly. they know too few people would buy it, as they did the previous version
Didn’t sell… I think it’s called insanity. To do the same thing expecting different results 🤷🏽♂️
@@rong8889 thee definition good sir
1:40 The 30% they didnt change is the outside of the car. True Porsche genetics.

Another next level review. Love the Porsche Panamera Turbo 2025. I'm a photographer for my local Porsche Club and aspire to drive/own one some day.

Your reviews are the best and could not wait to see the Panamera one.
Enough room for Moneypenny and Ms. Galore.😄 As usual I enjoy your reviews so much my guy💪💪
At last, a true rival to the Citroen Xantia Activa. Can't wait for the group test. 😉
Thank you. Except that the previous Panamera saloon (hatchback?) had a rear wiper as an option. However, fair point about the rear camera.
Is that color Oak Green Metallic Neo? Mine arrives in one month with this color. Absolutely beautiful.
Can you please test the Panamera GTS. Many Thanks
The presentation skills 👏👏
You’ve set the bar even higher with this one! Straight fire.
The sports tourismo was the best looking panamera.. and one of the best looking Porsches… it’s a shame it is discontinued
I'd have to lease and walk away. Lots of potential repairs. Great job Rory
This is the best review i have seen
Awesome Porsche, looks great!
Pretty amazing work from porsche here gotta give the props!
Great colour Oak green shame Volkwagen don’t do it anymore Golf GTI big bumper 16v was a thing of beauty in Oak green
This... This was a notch above!!! ✨✨✨
What a spec! Stunning
Brilliant commentary and sharp British humour (compliment from a Saffa)!
Loved it! That journo at his best! ❤❤❤
Oak Green, my old favourite mk2 golf colour 😍
Best car in the world for the money
Love your stuff Rory keep it up, joking about the leaf by the way!🤣🤣
Great review as usual, Rory. However, why no rear wiper option? I think an owner would be very nervous reversing out of a parking bay in the rain.
Saloons tend not to have wipers. That funky rear camera is pretty helpful 🤔
Reverse in, drive out.
So much to be excited about with this
The Porsche hands down!
Sport Mode is the Mode for me
The Sport Turismo was actually the one to buy ..
2:46 No Rory. They will not be in a jet. They'll be in that Aston Martin that Bond just traded in
That car not tilting in the corners is making my brain fry! 😅
Thank you for saying Liverpool as favourite team
Dude!, Rory I Have The Same Feeling That James Bond's Next Car Is The Panamera
This guy is like the reincarnation of top gear
🥱 Porsche Panamera. 🥱 It's fast. Lovely. Anyway... The new Honda Prelude 🤩 Can't wait to see them on the streets.
The Saab 900 turbo was James Bond's personal car in the books 😊
Porsche made a huge mistake not doing a Sport Turismo version. That was the best looking one.
Panemera is the BEST.
one day rory is going to right a book and it will be awesome

Low profile car for Bond? Audi RS6 without badges, maybe even the estate? Thanks for the review.
Would you rather the hybrid or gts version with the engine tuned to 750+hp

Wondering how this compares with the new M5
Pretty sure that Bond drove a Bentley in the Flemming novels. Changed to a Saab Turbo in the John Gardner era
I recon your eyes need testing Rory, that leaf was not exact match???😂😂😂😂
It was when I first picked it in the morning. It got dried out 🫢

Money no object? Might as well get a Bently instead.
People lost their shit at Bond, talisman of the British Empire, driving a *German* car in the late 90s. It will never be allowed to happen again.
I hope Henry Catchpole knows you're using his roads young man😉
Panamera never was pretty car but in previous version at least the front was sleek, in here it is so high that it almost looks like an SUV.
