Hi ;) I was wondering about your choice of lens. It was my understanding from other classes I have taken that portraits are best done with around am 85mm lens. Is your lens set to the 70mm point? If not, what are your thoughts on what focal length is best for portraits? I thought that the wider the lens the more distorted the person would look? thanks for your videos. very informative
It seem that lately people have been going to "non-traditional" continuous lighting. I don't mind and it isn't a big thing for me. I would encourage youtubers to, maybe, mention that in the title, though. Don't get me wrong, there was nothing wrong with the tutorial...in fact, it was great. I do flash photography, though.

He is using flash. The constant light you see on the one with the optical snoot is just the modeling light.
