The batteries in my thermostat are now only lasting about a week. We’ve had this system in our house for just over a year, and until a couple of months ago, the batteries rarely needed replacing. Now, however, they need to be changed weekly. Solution?
Live and neural wire don't look to be correctly inserted in the video, No copper should be visible or capable of touching by hands or tools! An insulated screwdriver would be a better option!
The temperature sensor on my unit has developed a fault, after 2.5 years. Can I buy a replacement thermostat unit on its own, as the relay is already installed?
I don't have "3 & 4" on my boiler. Instead I have a 24V RT and a 230V RT. On some videos I see the 230V R being used, and on others the 24V RT. Which one is it? If I use the 230V do I take out the bridge fromt eh 24V RT?
How do you install this when your thermostat is in a different room? Do you install the Netatmo relay/thermostat at that location or directly at the boiler (making the old wired thermostat useless)?
Hi, You'll find more information about the Smart Thermostat's installation here: www.netatmo.com/en-gb/energy/thermostat/installation Have a great day :)
3:39 Attach as far as possible from metal objects
Attaches to the side of the boiler 🤔

Can you replace the netatmo smart thermostat only if the relay is working but the thermostat is not
When you switch the power supply back on, what mode should the boiler be set on? (Heater on / Heater off /Heater on timer)?

We have a Vaillant ecoTEC plus 837, which has that configuration. The correct answer for us was to use the 24V RT (not the 230V RT).
Does it work with Alexa ?
Hi Joe,
Yes it does :)
Copper on show? Not good practice
