When you say "you just click here" or "hover here" without having folks know where the heck the cursor is. There is a cursor highlighter that would make this much more valuable- but it's wonderful you spending your own time to help people.

I concur. Suggest make the cursor appear larger so one can see more easily where it is. Thx

@@innocentlife2346 You can slow down the speed easily, just click the Settings button at bottom right on the video, select Playback Speed, & slow it down. I'd rather it be faster, to save time...sometimes I speed up or slow down videos to suit me.

Moved to fast, probably without the suggested highlights. Explain what this is or that is. Worthless to me. BYE!

I wish I could change the COLOR of the folders. That way, instead of reading the names on dozens of folders, if there's a few folders I'm using constantly I could just, bam, go right for "purple folder." I mean, think about it...in real life people use color-coded folders all the time (blue for criminal files, red for family law, green for oil and gas rights, regular yellow for most civil files, etc) but with these virtual files, there is ONLY ONE COLOR.

That's a brilliant idea. Why hasn't anyone programmed that in yet?
I mean, I can use red folders for 2d flash animation sincevthstnlogo is red, orange for blender 3d, since the blender icon is mostly orange and so on.

I just switched today from Windows 10 to Windows 11. I am using motherboard ASUS ROG Maximus XII HERO (Wi-Fi). I upgraded its BIOS to firmware 2701. I love the context -menu every time I do a right click, specially when Copying / Moving / Pasting / Renaming file. Very handy. I also love the dark themes for the whole Windows GUI. It is relaxing to my eyes.

Thanks for the tutorial mate. From a Mac user of 25 years running a pc for the first time, this was very useful indeed. However, what’s the difference between “you can click here” and ‘’you can GO AHEAD and click here”?? You scored a total of 43 ‘go aheads’ in 19:22 mins. Approx 1 ‘go ahead’ every 25 seconds… for 20 mins! ooof! Americans dooo love a ‘go ahead’ x

I am just starting to watch this because I keep getting notified if I want to upgrade to Windows 11. I just want to know if I have to use Edge or if I can keep using my Chrome browser? That is the main reason I haven't switched yet. I really like Chrome and have so many tabs saved and don't want to lose them. I also wondered if you can switch back and forth between 10 and 11.

    • @JJFlores197
      @JJFlores197 10 місяців тому

Microsoft wants to force everyone to use Microsoft Edge. You aren't required to use it, but MS is heavy handed with this and will try to change your default web browser to MS Edge.
A Windows upgrade shouldn't modify your personal files or programs, but its always a smart idea to have a backup. I suggest signing into a Google account to save your bookmarks and saved passwords to your Google account. You can also export bookmarks to a file and keep them in a safe space (like Google Drive or flash drive) and you can then restore them in case your bookmarks get wiped for some reason.
It is possible to have 2 Windows installations on a computer. This is known as a multi-boot system. I don't really recommend doing this if you aren't tech savvy as it is very easy to accidentally delete the wrong partition and loose all your data. If you really want a multi-boot system, you can probably take your PC to a reputable PC repair shop and ask them to install a second operating system. I believe Windows gives you about 7 - 11 days to downgrade back to the previous Windows install, but I wouldn't count on it.

I have always avoided updates to be honest. In 1995 when windows to the world was introduced..rolling stones '' START ME UP '' i like many got a computer and bought windows 95.i loved it. and it was so much better with a computer than console game machines in net and game..but in time i got several upgrades in window. no i dont not buy every window along the way, but as 95 went to win 98/xp pro/win 10/now win 11..as i say i avoided updates cause every version i went through had up-dates of course. and 75% of the time i lost many programs like invested games cash wise/and applications and many failures. hardly ever we got any to recover patch wise and such..all from the mighty update, Im just saying its been my experiance...in windows. (kinda puts me like a ''rock in hard place'' ya think ha ha.

Win 11 has a n easy to navigate and very intuitive driven user interface. I like that things happen much faster than I expected. So far very nice. Great little tutorial. Which just reminded me what I found on my own.....fast and easy to use. Thank you for the presentation.

I used to download cursors from the Internet onto my PC. I would then open my File Explorer and find the downloaded file in the Downloads section. When I double-clicked it, a special application would launch, allowing me to crop the cursor to the desired size for my Roblox gameplay. However, lately, whenever I attempt to open the cursor file, my printer launches instead and I don't know what caused this change. Is there a way to get back the editing application that I originally had?

And on my Right monitor, drag it to the left vertically as well. I've always had that set up, so the bars are near each other and out of the way because I use to accidentally open hidden taskbar when I played games in windowed mode.

You’re moving too fast with your explanations. Also cant always see where your cursor is when your clicking on a point on the screen. Not sure how you would go about it, but would help if you had a red laser pointer, and could point to where you’re clicking on the screen.

Thank you! I was stumped. I thought my right click wasn't working until you showed the two finger method. Kudos.

That was great thank you. I would like info on using mail especially how to get the view pane at the bottom instead of at the right of the screen.

What exactly do you mean you can't get anything to download?
