    “Just live the gospel, and let that reflect on your social media.” So many gems! Thank you for sharing.

    I could watch him speak like this all day, I love how natural this discussion is. Makes me realize he is just a regular guy like us all, who has learned little by little, and has little by little had Christ sanctify his life and his heart. Great example for us.

      I think that a conversation with the Savior would be similar:
      Ether 12:39 (Moroni spoke with Jesus)
      And then shall ye know that I have seen Jesus, and that he hath talked with me face to face, and that he told me in plain humility, even as a man telleth another in mine own language, concerning these things;
      1 Nephi 11:11 (Nephi and the Spirit of the Lord)
      And I said unto him: To know the interpretation thereof-for I spake unto him as a man speaketh; for I beheld that he was in the form of a man; yet nevertheless, I knew that it was the Spirit of the Lord; and he spake unto me as a man speaketh with another.

    Wow this has been amazing. Elder Bednar made me realize that I need to be more patient in working on my problems. I got so frustrated yesterday with a problem I have been working on for 4.5 years. I thought I was making progress but then realized I had not. Elder Bednar has made me realize, just like Nephi, that I need to try again. My problem will take lots of trial and error to fix until I can find the right solution. I will continue to pray and do my part. Social media has made me conditioned to be impatient in waiting to see progress. I am so grateful for latter day prophets and apostles.

    Thank you for doing this interview! I know my channel is not very big and wonder if I am doing any good but grateful for the encouragement to keep going! I know it is all about the 'one' not how many. I do enjoy making videos even though I am learning as I go but since I am 'old' and retired I have the time to do it.

    I testify that this is the most powerful tool the Lord has given us to share the gospel in "normal and natural ways". Personally I have seen remarkable results at home and in the mission field. Thank you Elder Bednar for your constant encouragement to share.

    Parker thank you for your wonderful content. I just can't help but think about the often cited critique of the Brethren being out of touch. Elder Bender has illustrated they understand very very well what is happening. Some really great insights here.

    Great information on how to interact,just keep it simple, be yourself, be real. Focus less on what we say and more on who we are. Be who you are. Be the child of God that you are.

    I think "The Words of Christ" and "True Millennial" are doing a fantastic job :) I often watch vids from other Christian faiths and make comments that I hope will draw attention to the Church in a good way :) Always think about how much God loves them and try to convey that instead of responding negatively. They won't care what you know unless they know you care. ❤

    34:01 Please make a “short” from here on when he says the changes that happened in 10 years will now happen in only 2-3 years and in shorter and shorter time. And the challenges that will come from it. Also include when he quoted President Nelson saying in coming days we will need the Holy Ghost to know what is true or not and Elder Bednar saying that that day is today.

  • @jacquelyn9018

    Could you please point me to that scripture where Bednar says they are scripturally referred to as “special witnesses of the name of Jesus Christ”? I can’t find that scripture he is referencing anywhere. 🤔

    What is the LDS “restored gospel”?

    • @GStar-qd5oi
      @GStar-qd5oi 22 дні тому

      Over the course of hundreds of years since Jesus Christ lived, simple and vital truths about Jesus Christ were lost on the earth. These truths began being restored through the prophet Joseph Smith in 1820. Joseph saw God The Father and Jesus Christ who began the process of restoring these truths through him. The Book of Mormon contains the fulness of Jesus Christ's gospel. Jesus Christ restored His church through Joseph Smith in 1830....since then the church continues to grow across the world. As members we invite all to read The Book of Mormon with sincerity to learn for yourself the beauty and fulness of these restored truths. These truths include: The purpose and potential of each individual , the divinity and reality of Jesus Christ, the importance of baptism and confirmation, the importance of making and keeping covenants with God and Jesus Christ, the return of prophets and apostles who live on earth. All are invited to come and learn.
