Yes
My mother was well died of cancer but before she did I found she always wanted me to be a painter/artist.So I found bob Ross's channel and watched a few of his videos and the day she died just an hour before she died... I painted before her eyes the place she got married to my dad (he died via car accident) under a blossom tree in front of a lake and her head on his shoulder and the last thing she said to me was... "I wanted you to be an artist not with a wooden brush and a canvas I wanted you to paint the world a brighter shade with you being the brush and my love for you biennial the paint and the world your canvas"
My last words to her were: "I will make sure that happens I promise with all the love in my heart"
Bob Ross... thank you
I am now currently in a university in Inverness,Scotland learning bio/eco energy

*a true legend.*
Bob just seems like he was such a nice man. He had me smiling throughout the whole video. I just wish I had been alive when the show actually aired to sit down and watch with a nice cup of tea.
Dont be sad that you weren't there be happy that it happened
You're not alone
You can still do it! I recommend at like sunset, put him on the TV, and get a nice cup of tea!
he had me literally sobbing the whole video💀✋
It incredible to think that he was a Master Sergeant in the Air Force, I couldn't imagine Bob yelling at someone.
I stopped doing life stuff to watch this.

WOW Love the comment
This is seriously one of the best paintings Bob ever did on the show, creative original and worked perfectly with his technique
lol i can't believe ppl come here for the paintings. Don't get me wrong, the paintings are great too, but i look at this vids because of his magical voice.
SNES drunk I couldn't agree more!
so is this video worth playing today?
@@avz3810 me to
@@avz3810 of course, I come here for the paintings
Bob Ross was like the Second Coming but we didn't realise it. An absolute legend; we all wish he was still here to paint. We could do with him now more than ever.
"I have youngsters in their nineties who write me..." I LOVE YOU BOB!
Bob Ross's evergreens are so lovely.
haha I love that you mentioned it, I noticed how they were particularly well drawn in this episode, he didn't always spend as much time making them that good
8:29 - 8:36 "You want the paint on your brush to be thinner than what's already on the canvas, that way, the canvas will literally pull the paint off. It'll take what it needs. . . .just like a tax man."
Someone got jokes, that sly devil~
MetalPcAngel no... he beat the devil OUT!
take
MetalPcAngel i freakin love that part
Ponyo :D
Imagine Bob as a golf announcer.
He would have been even more popular.
Balint 7609 No-one watches golf, but I see your point.
That's why golf is not very popular ;)
Can you imagine if Bob Ross would have mentioned the golf ball having the devil beaten out of it?
That rip at the end was so clean. If any other human being tried that it would've messed up but the universe decided that Bob deserves better than all else so it gave it to him. What a beautiful soul
Bob ross is the grandfather of asmr.
I am glad to be on Bob ross side about this. Don't know what it means, and don't care :p
If he's the grandfather of it, then who's the father of it?
I have my exam in an hour and I was so nervous that I came here to relax and it worked. His paintings are so soothing.
I love how people that comment actually talk to him like he’s still alive. Somehow it makes me feel like he still is and it’s such a nice thought :)
He is still alive just re-arranged into a different entity.
I'm here for a calming session with Bob.
bob is in heaven with his wife, taking care of all the heaven animals
I was so pumped when he said “You ready for a big tree? ...We’re going to create a monster tree.”
Usually I have no interest in art but this, just feels right somehow...
his magic
Adrian Heys you know what doesn't feel right? Your profile pic
@@nolan1066 right back at ya, buckaroo.
All I can say is THANKS.
Whoever started this channel is a genius
I loved the technique of using the contact paper to make it look like a window. Beautiful!
God blessed Bob Ross with a special gift. Such a talented and amazing artist. This painting is simply stunning. Happy painting, everyone! God bless!
I like the comments on this channel's videos.
It's a mix of mature people and 6 year olds
I start watching and peace just takes place
I feel like I can actually paint when he encourages me then I try and realize I still can't.
just try and practice
@A Human Being i couldnt at all but i practiced and now i can paint masterpieces
The reason I can’t paint is because I need paint lol
@@fuzzystudiosofficial oil paint is usually super cheap. I find you don’t need the expensive kind to paint in this technique (sure, the expensive stuff might work better but the cheap paints work fine for me). The only problem is that cheap oil paint usually has a thinner consistency than expensive paint, and for this method you need a thick, firm paint. I use talcum powder (baby powder also works) and mix that with the cheap oil paint to thicken it. It works quite nicely and you get a firm paint. Talcum is usually cheap, I got a huge tub of it for like 4$ and it contains more than I’ll ever need. Just mix enough talcum with your paint until it gets to a consistency similar to what you see Bob using☺️
@@fuzzystudiosofficial also you don’t even need paint thinner to clean your brushes, you can just use warm water and plenty of dish soap, it works just fine although it takes a little longer. It’s safer though, since water and soap doesn’t let off toxic fumes like paint thinner and other organic solvents do. In the beginning, painting will be scary and discouraging, but just push through it and you got yourself an artist😄
The original ASMRtist.
His voice makes me happy. I'm so glad there's so many seasons and that he shows which paints he uses.
Screw Gandalf, Bob Ross is the real wizard
👋 nice 👍🏻 dose
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
2019, and your name still lives on 🥰
His voice is so relaxing!!
I could fall asleep while listening to his voice 💕
I swear, i always say "Beat the devil out of it" every time he clean's his brush! 😊😊😊
love his "happy little.."
Beat the devil out of it. it never gets old!
"Anytime you learn, it's not a wasted effort" once a wise man said.
I love how he smiles after he successfully beat the devil out of his brush
After shoveling snow, this is the perfect piece of art to look at. There's a lot of cool blues and amazing highlights, all of which complement the perspective of looking outside of a window on a winter day. The birch trees were highlighted really well as Bob made light strokes as he would when he highlights mountains, and the way he loaded the brush to make the bushes was something to remember for painters. I don't know why the snow covered bushes and trees look so great and Brighton pop out so well, but they just do and it works really well against the dark base color and the way he loaded the brush to make the bushes was something to remember for painters. Thank you Bob for a great painting :)
_* I hope you enjoyed my Happy Little Review*_
And I just wanted to say. I sort of miss hearing from some of the regular people such as Robert, dark light, and Jennifer :,)
Well I agree that a lot of parts of this painting really do pop out for some reason. The fence and bush he painted at 19:35 looks incredibly three dimensional. He said that since the bush behind it was hwite, that he needed to separate it just a little bit so he put a little bit of pthalo blue in it. It was a really subtle touch, but it really pops and that was one of the most three dimensional renderings I have ever seen him paint. The thick impasto paint for the fence posts also adds to the three dimensional effect. But I would never have thought to so subtly change the color for those two bushes like that, so that just shows how good of a painter he really was and how much experience and painting knowledge he had about putting depth and space into a painting.
And also, this is a really interesting concept of making a painting look like a window. All around, very interesting episode.
*squees* robert you deserve a lot of recognition for those thoughts. You are definitely right because if he didnt put color in the white it would be white on white which would show, nothing really XD
VoIkArmiya
Happy holidays, and God bless my friend.
Do you want some salt with that?
I dont even paint or anything but I like reading your you guys's reviews on these episodes :)
It's just cool how great those evergreens look just from pressing a fan brush in the proper way. Bob is inspiring me, after watching a whole bunch of these, to try to paint. I'm starting to see life in the way Bob painted the sky and clouds and trees, etc. 'You can do it....., you can do it', as he always says. I think I'll honor his memory by painting like him, if possible, and I think this may be a good one to start with.
This is one of the first paintings I did on my own, with a dvd. It was 90 degrees in my apartment. I cooled down as I painted, and did one of my favorite paintings. I wish I could upload the pic. I later gave the painting away and kick myself.
He makes the most beautiful and complicated painting so simple, he’s so calming and isperatinal
I just love how much he enjoyed what he did, and how easily he got into ''the zone''
Through the window...
THROUGH DA WAAALL
Kappa Pride til the sweat drop off my balls
i knew id find this comment xD
Came here looking for this. I wasen't disapointed!
I've been painting since high school (which is a lot longer ago that I care to realize), but a few years ago I finally had enough disposable income to buy all the supplies.
I love Bob and I love how he's touched people. If there's one bone I have to pick with him, however, it's that he sometimes says, "This is an easy one".
There really aren't any easy ones, so don't get discouraged.
Also: DO NOT put all that paint on your pallet. Only use the amounts he mixes with the knife or pulls off with the brush.
Otherwise, you're going to spend more time wasting and buying more paint than you are painting.
Bob has just catched my all attention since the last two months. Seeing myself taking the plunge and grab the canvas
God all of the bushes living together forming a lil Bush family, this guy ❤❤❤
whoever disliked this video can FIGHT ME

Bob Ross is an angel
Like if you agree
"Anytime you learn, it's not a wasted effort." ❤
even though I'm actually just a teenager, I have to admit that thanks to Bob Ross' tutorials, I was able to paint something that doesn't look so bad anymore ❤️
23:43 was sooo satisfying
ross: "anytime you learn, its not a wasted effort"
A friend: be careful, that tools are expensive.
Me: I know how to use them. I've been watching bob ross videos.
It’s fascinating how Bob views him in a painter outfit as the equivalent of an OC: not himself but a character. Just something that’s always been on my mind.
My 2021 promish was watch every Bob Ross video, see you in 2030.
its so calming
What a wonderful paintings, I love it💙
Bob is amazing, as is also his son Steven. Talk about relaxation and destressing after watching a few shows. Happy they are all here on youtube for our enjoyment.
He not only beats the devil out of his brush, he also beats the devil out of people's lives.
even it's a bit too late, Happy Birthday Bob!!
I love the smell of paint,I wonder what that paint smells like. 🙂😩😩
LilBizzy409 It has a strong smell.
LilBizzy409 oil paint smells so good, at least to me. It smells kinda like a combination of olive oil and spray paint, but really faint. It makes me happy😌
プライスキャサリン not happy, high 😛
If I were a doctor and one of my patients suffered from anxiety, my prescription would be to put their earbuds in, go on UA-cam and listen to these Bob Ross videos.
Away to the window Bob flew in a flash, saw Evil Bob and went out to go kick his ass. The rhyme is close enough
jeremy hunt lol WHAT?!
Your my hero bob, your so vv calming and I love watching you since it helps with my art.
I'm four years late but, it's "you're" not "your"
the twitch chat goes insane when bob beats the devil out of the brush
The way he chuckles as he says beat the devil out of it just makes me feel warm inside
why doesnt he have more subs than pewdiepie
TheSethosaurusRex because 12 year olds own UA-cam and don't have the patience for Bobby
gso o0 agreed
jeff alvarez why are you so mad
did you even read what i've typed before replying ? am sure youll have your answer in front of you.
'Cause he's dead
Bob is literally the godfather of asmr
I’m an artist and on my way to Colorado from Houston, Texas for my first snowy mountain Christmas vacation. I thought this was the perfect thing to lull me into my road trip nap. Grew up watching this national treasure. He put me to sleep as a child, and he’s the main one who inspired me to be an artist. May his legacy live on through the generations.
I can also produce a gift with my hand....
👍
Great painting!
SEASON30 HOLY SHIT THANK
I watched this man, while he was still here....and how I terribly miss him, even though I didn't know the man. That's what a sincerely, good, beautiful human being, with so much talent, it just flows out of his fingers does to a girl like me, who had no interest in art, but WATCHED BOB... BECAUSE he was Bob. THE epitome of calming awesomeness, and unbridled kindness, and it's lovely we have all of these shows to see him again and again. I hope he ends up with a BILLION subs!!! What a fantastic man. ❤
He says that tree is one of gods most beautiful creation.YOU ARE BOB!!
I love this man
I wanted to see an official Bob Ross tutorial, although I don’t do oil but watercolor. 6:35 in and I’m already asleep bc of the calmness in the video.
Bob does magic with his paint brush
"Those little square trees, they're sort of rare" Oh how I love and miss the man's sense of humor.
this is why. I started to do paintings.
This was the first time I ever heard Bob's voice. I almost cried.
Through the windooooow! To the wall...To the wall!
this is probably the best episode i’ve seen so far 🤯 the painting is amazing
Bob Ross will beat the devil out of our hearts...
Miss you bob...
I forgot how much I loved this guy even thought I can't paint still then I saw theodd1sout video and then I'm like wait I remember that guy and I only liked it cause of his voice it's like an asmr
bob ross reminds me of uncle iroh. i can imagine both of them drinking tea together talking about the beauty of life.
Grew up watching bob ross paint some beautiful paintings
Me: never met him nor watched the show on tv before
Bob: Happy painting, God bless, my friend
Me: Yeah, I'm a friend of Bob.
*Joy intensifies
It's crazy how simply smushing a brush against a canvas once or twice gives you a realistic looking tree. It's like witchcraft almost.
2020 gang, still lovin on Bob Ross😍
