I was an Application Engineer for a cutting tool company for several years. PCD is not recommended in Ferrous (containing Iron) Materials. However, a good choice if you want higher cutting speeds than Carbide in Grey Cast Iron would be CBN. Best of luck 👍

@kennametal Can PCD be used for milling 41XX and/or 420 stainless? If no, I would be interested to know why not. I've heard the Fe breaks down the diamond carbon bonds, but would like to hear it from the experts!
PCD is not as heat resistant as CBN and will react with ferrous elements at high temperatures, carbide tools are perfectly adequate for machining stainless steel
That 20° Helical interpolation was crazy. Very impressive
So fast helical entry! And …. Then Soooo slow pocket milling. 🫢
Hello! Do you need PCD CNC tools?
Not often an Ad is as impressive as this one. GREAT WATCH.
Silicon, not silicone 😐
Exactly... God this dude needs to rehearse and research more 🤣🤣
Worth trying.
You need to upload video one more time - reaming operation was cuted out
With bimetal application involving aluminum, is it safe to say you can use PCD on cast iron applications?

Of course, PCD tools have their own unique advantages for machining aluminium alloys
PCD material can be used for processing aluminum alloy, and CBN material can be used for processing cast iron.
Why was it reuploaded
Pocketing Ae was corrected.
Must be nice .......
So why is the KOR5 not PCD?
price and market needs...
queremos información en español por favor

It's SILICON not SILICONE
Ohhh
