I make a good living but won't pay an extra penny for a fancy car. Have a mature Subaru and it works just fine. My coworkers in management have multiple fancy vehicles and I'm never sure why.

I’ve never understood the appeal of nice cars. As long as it’s safe and takes you from point A to point B that’s good enough for me. Plus less chances of getting robbed. There are some great cars for a lower price

@@alqoshgirl I don't get it either. I'm not trying to impress anyone and I totally love the way the Subaru handles in our winters. Extra bonus is my mom, who is handicapped, can get in and out of my car where she can't get around in bigger or higher cars. It's a win all the way around. I bought it used years ago (it was at really low mileage)

Cause people rather play fake rich then do what it takes to really get ahead which means some sacrifice and buying used cash or new and reasonable. We have a 14 and 13 model year car both paid cash and bought used. Give me stealth wealth any day over pretend rich 😂

Because they make good money and they think always will be the same. They don't think about things changing, getting old, or how the future can be.
