You guys did an excellent job investigating what is causing the 1-2 bang and developing a way to eliminate it as well as wheel hop. Your RMM is on my wish list for when my ST comes in!
steeda also has a new rear motor mount i want to go with steed but they do have a test run on it like cp-e does and im really enjoying how they decreased the wheel hop.
Yes, you technically don't want ANY engine movement if ya can but the vibes and noises are just too intense for most so that's why they have these bushings that go in there instead. You can make them different strengths also. I use 88 Duro but I have a beast setup.
The Ford made electric Focus mount for $50.00 bucks works great! Yes, it will actually ADD straight line performance to your ST. It almost eliminates wheel hop so the 270 ft lbs of torque get to the ground. Must have for 2013 ST's .
Slight vibration my arse! I used one of those poly inserts, and the whole cart vibrated like a womans private toy. Turned straight round and said get that out! LOL! That thing must be unbearable!!
