I love your simplicity in mixing! Even with entry-level gear, you manage to make the track sound great without piling on tons of plugins to make up for the usual pro quality lost during recording. I really admire your work! (P.S.: I'm still waiting for the comparison between the BAE and vintech haha. I'm waiting for your video before buying one of them)
Hey Reid! As shown in the video, you can record surprisingly good vocals with this mic. Nevertheless, I'd like to ask you, if you as a professional producer think that audio recorded with MiCreator is, let's say, "radio-ready". I believe that recording is one thing, but is this mic good enough to release a song with vocals recorded with it? Or it will stand out (on a playlist for example) compared to other vocals, recorded with much more expensive mics and gear?
Yesterday I uploaded a video recorded thru my $20,000 vocal chain. You can compare them side-by-side 👍 I believe standing out on a playlist is more determined by your musical creativity, catchiness, and delivery, not microphone choice
What’s up Reid. My name is Frankie. I’m known as, “Frankilassic”. And I’m brand new to one of the Music websites & I’m a huge fan of You ever since I looked You up this year.
This video somehow did not reach the public recommendations algorithm, unfortunately only my subscribers got notified of this upload while it was new. I think Very few clicked because my audience has generally graduated from USB Mics and lower cost equipment. Check my new Apollo review or Studio One Pro Tutorial, they’re both performing great. I did this for people who are in the rare circumstance that they’re mixing a vocal fully recorded on USB mics. This video has no clickbait, hot topic, or drama to discuss 👍
monitor through your Mic instead of monitoring in your DAW. You will always hear yourself dry & latency free in your headphones, regardless of your DAW settings or plugin count. You can even close your DAW and you’ll still hear yourself latency fee in the headphones
"We just have a great sounding room. A great vocalist..."
So the two most important things for pro level vocals lol.
This is a fantastic tutorial btw.
Love the ant cameo on the mike at 1:00 😀Nice tut, high quality as always.

Been following you for YEARS, I always take your advice, you have a great way of mixing vocals for it's neutrality. That's my style as well
Thanks for having me Reid! 🎶
Love your videos. It changed the way I look at DAW's, but I hope to see more Logic Pro videos.
I’m working on my Logic Pro 11 Vocal Mix Tutorial 👍

why views in this channel are so much lower than 1 or 2 years before, are we seeing death of long form content ?

Интересные микрофоны, но задержка на них наверное сильная
