I agree Graph Mode is uglier and has a slightly slower learning curve, but somehow Nash and I consistently get better results faster in AutoTune Pro, even tho we both own Melodyne 🤷🏼♂️
And also, you can add more effects onto it such as reverb to give the vocals more depth, and EQ to get rid of some background hiss, sibilance and floor noise, and de esser to eliminate sibilance.
Great to watch... interesting that what you do in Autotune, by way of describing the intention, is the same as I do in Melodyne. I've never actually used Autotune, so yeah, cool to see how you use it.
Great work and very interesting! I just wish Auto-Tune didn't sound like Auto-Tune, meaning the algorithm. The public is engrained in this unnatural perfect sound which sounds good to most but as an engineer, I hear it in practically every note. They used Auto-Tune in the live action Beauty & The Beast and it sounded terribly robotic. I prefer Melodyne but I will often use a mix of versions from 3.2 to 6 to get a better result and my goal is usually for the vocal not to sound tuned at all. I've heard good things about Cubase's algorithm so I might try that in the future.
Hey, I have a question. Whenever I use graph mode (in FL Studio) It changes the format of some of the notes. I bought Autotune Pro a couple months ago but rarely use it because I can get a better result with the stock pitcher, but if I could get it to work correctly I'd totally use it. ANY TIPS WOULD BE AMAZING. THANKS
Honestly I hardly use FL Studio for vocals and audio engineering workflows because I always run into unusual issues, or find the workflow way too slow. To troubleshot your issue I’d Open the same vocals in another DAW with Autotune to see if the issue is within the vocals, the plugin, or the DAW.
If you want to manually draw in the harmony notes you duplicate your lead then Switch the autotune yo graph mode and change your duplicate to your new harmony melody
It shouldn't be the case that the sound engineer has to correct everything just because the singer/rapper is too failing to learn to sing/rap properly....
Yes this is an extreme example for fun. Our AutoTune Pro Course has an entire lesson devoted to “Fixing Good Singing” where we teach how to make subtle corrections that listeners wouldn’t even notice 🔥
This isn’t our 90 minute masterclass which covers tuning good singing, bad singing, and a full orientation to the plugins various modes and features. This is an extended version of a tiktok
I’m into music but I don’t know how to get instrumentals for my songs. Is there any site that can generate instrumentals for my music even if I sing along
AutoTune only knows the key of your song after you've put the AutoKey plugin on your beat to let it detect melodic data from your instrumental. Autotune by itself can't detect the key of anything
I bought Celemony Melodyne and had a play with it with my friends singing. Is Antares Auto-tune Pro better? Or can I buy your course and follow in Melodyne?
We believe autotune is better because it has AutoTune mode and Graph mode. Melodyne only has Melodyne. It’s half as useful in comparison. Our course is specifically about the tools and quirks of AutoTune. The information generally won’t translate to melodyne’s tools and workflow. I’m working on a separate Melodyne course
What do you do to improve the handling of antres graph mode? I did a lot in the ReaTune plug-in of reaper, and tho it doesn’t sound as good as antares, I really enjoyed navigating trough it. Antares feels a bit clunky and stiff. How do you guys feel?
When i first tried auto tune editing i basically moved everything to make it the exact same as my recording (matching the lines) and thought oh this sounds good when the auto tune was literally doing nothing
It’s definitely a tricky plugin to learn at first. Our full length course has an orientation video that helps you understand the graphics and user interface 🔥
It's all about what goes into the microphone. This is an extreme process that takes hours of studio time that is unnecessary. You can acquire the same exact sound with all the tone if you properly said it before record. autotune is technically a live performance enhancing tool, the same as you were said it for a live performance is how you would for recording thank me later.
Graph Mode has a lot of “automatic” features too. ReNaming it Manual Tune wouldn’t fully make sense nor would it take advantage of the world famous software name “AUTOTUNE”
Crazy good video but idk why it always sound like dogshit when im doing it exact like in the video XDXD i mean yeah im not a graduated platinum producer but even with good equip and hours of trying to sound any good it sounds still bad XD but still a great video ^^
I hate to be rude but at this point i think it’s a better option to vocally train the singer because honestly it’s more work than what the software can do., but obviously he is “purposely” singing out of tune for the content
Learning how to sing correctly generally takes months for people that are either untrained or don’t naturally sing well. They’ve been straining their throat and using their voice wrong for years and years. They should do what they can to learn how to sing correctly and well, but if they can’t sing well, this is a lot less time consuming. They might spend a few hours digitally correcting their pitch, but they’ll spend hours every day, for months, to learn how to do what the plugin does to their voice with clicks of a button. Ultimately, learn both, and use both to the best ability, according to the desire of the sound
Rule #1: garbage in -> garbage out. As you well know, it's a bit like trying in vain to use dozens of plugins on a bad-sounding sample or synth while trying to make it sound good in the mix.
You can just fix in the mix...lmao. I'll be damned if im gonna do any of this for anyone. If you suck that bad just stop please. Even when its "fixed" it still sucks and does not in any way sound natural.

Fair point
Next they’re gunna drop AutoTaste and AutoTone to fix the remaining issues 😅

good result, but the graphical interface is very unintuitive, it needs polishing in my opinion, I prefer to use melodyne + autotune. Greetings Reid!

just strictly manual graph mode wise, what do u prefer? melodyne vs autotune graph.
We never use melodyne even tho we both have it installed on our computers

If you want to manually draw in the harmony notes you duplicate your lead then Switch the autotune yo graph mode and change your duplicate to your new harmony melody
