Well this is the third vid i watched on the fast eddie triple stack. This vid made complete sense. Others completely left out the 2n and 3rd axis.....And the part on the second and third pin adjustment. I ordered this sight a day or so ago from S&S and now i am very glad i did use you guys.. Once you've done the sight tape portion, move to 30 yards and adjust the pin to shoot at that distance. Same for the bottom pin at 40. Move to 40 and then make the adjustments to the pin to be on. Last thing is you'll need to adjust the 3 pointers to 20,30,40.
It depends on how heavy your arrow is. My current setup is 476 gr (heavy) and I can get about 90 yds using my bottom pin as a floater. Any lower and my fletching would contact the bottom of the housing.
My bow shop said in order to use the wheel on the fast Eddie, I’d have to change my anchor point. I thought this was weird since I just wanted to get 20 more yards out of my bow which is less than an inch of movement… is this true?

When you get your bow sighted in. Which pin do you use once you’re past 40 yards? Say your at 60 yards. Can use use any pin of the 3 pins as long as the indicator is on that yardage mark?
Once everything is setup, You have 3 indicators and that correspond to 3 pins. When you dial out what ever indicator is on 60 that is the pin you shoot. Ex. middle indicator would be the middle pin.
I followed all these steps up until I have to sight in at 60. Once I got to this step I ran out of down adjustment. I was about a foot low and my housing couldn’t go down anymore otherwise my fletchings would hit the housing. I have the fast Eddie triple stack and a Mathews v3
I have the fast Eddie xl double pin and I set my 20 and started making my way back but I feel like when I get back to 60 or further I’m going to have arrow clearance issues with my sight is there something I’m doing wrong
This is a great question. I shoot the triple stack and max out at 82 yards with my bottom pin before I start having clearance issues. I also have a double pin that I haven’t used in a while. Would I get more clearance and distance with the double pin considering the housing is smaller but the pins are not adjustable??

I noticed tapes 1 through 12 would be a lot easier to set 20 30 40 and as you go up in yardage the pins would be equal like 50 60 70. The tape I have now makes the 20 and 30 so close that if I got to 40 the second indicator is at like 46. Any advise? Thanks for the help
I don't think theres anything you can do with the sight. The tapes are ballistics only and they're going to be based off of your arrow speed. You might be able to start your top pin at 30 then 40 and 50 to spread out the pointers.

I would first look at your bow and make sure that it is tuned. Most left right issues start there. It could also be a result of your rest being out just a little bit.
That sounds like something may bring wrong with the micro adjust knob. I would reach out to Spot Hogg and see if they have any insight, we haven't seen that before.
It's only necessary if you end up running out of distance for the longer shots. Primarily the lower you can start the sight and be on a 20 the more overall range you will have.
If you follow step by step, all three pins are considered slider pins. Because there is a pointer needle for each pin you can shoot any pin at any set position once the process is done.

You would use your set pin. Whichever pin you used to set the sight is the one you use to dial. So if your sight is based off of the 20 pin and the target is 36, dial the 20 pin to 36. Personally, I use my 40 pin as the "floater," so I get a little more range out of the sight. You can get the new multipin indicator though, which has a purple pointer for each pin. I think that's only available on the triple stack though.
if you were only going to use the sight for 40 yards, I would just sight in the pins to those yardages. The sight tape is the drop of the arrow. best results would be shooting 20-60 for the most accurate ballistics
@Jonathan Guerrero thsts the beauty of it you can use any of the 3 pointers on 80 and it should match up, if you want to use the top pin use the top indicator on 80 , middle pin middle indicator on 80 and bottom pin bottom indicator on 80 , its pretty much what ever your comfortable with as long as you have the correct indicator and pin corresponding , hope that helps
I don’t understand these sights at all. What is the advantage to a regular 5 pin sight. Now a Person only has 3 pins and it has to be adjusted to the yardage with a dial? I’m so confused
Typically an archer will select this sight because a 5 pin can be too much clutter. Also the up pins tend to clear up the sight picture vs horizontal pins.
To add to the other comment, the dominant reason is reduce clutter and clear up the sight picture, but there's also the ability to take longer shots on large animals (5 pin sights, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 yards, but the elk is at 70, or worse yet 68 - these sights let you dial right to 68 without the need for Kentucky windage). They also transition to target archery really well. Huge advantage to have a dial when shooting something like a 3D target at 93 yards in TAC style target shooting.

When you are setting your second pin for 30 yards do you stand at 20 or 30 before adjusting ?
Once you've done the sight tape portion, move to 30 yards and adjust the pin to shoot at that distance. Same for the bottom pin at 40. Move to 40 and then make the adjustments to the pin to be on. Last thing is you'll need to adjust the 3 pointers to 20,30,40.

You follow the arrow. So if shooting Right moving housing to the Right.

I've got a Spot Hogg Fast Eddie (bought in early 2021), but I don't have that 6 pin side adjustment (4:05). Can I upgrade that?

So bottom out the pens as low as you can and resight in at 20 and probably don’t shoot a 1000 grain arrow with 50 pound draw

My left and right adjustment only clicks twice either way I have to put a Allen wrench in to get more then 2 turns , any ideas ? Is it broken ?

In this video I'm using the T-64 Easton FmJ they are tapered. However I've switched to the 5mm FMJ

Which ever pointer you have on 80 yards is the pin you would use, that's why there are 3 indicators

You said you adjusted windage but didn’t say what you did
With the windage, left or right, just follow the arrow. So if your shooting left move the scope left.
Sight tape 11? Bros arrow is probably 700 grains! Lol
