Great job presenting this. It’s nice to see a big name pharmacy joining the fight to #endoverdose!

"# endoverdose"? this is not ending anything... Don't take drugs you don't know where they came from or who made them... the high is not worth dying for... but guess if you don't understand that, it's up to you to carry your own Narcan...

It's not just teens and young adults that use/abuse opioids. One could miss saving a life by thinking 'they are too old to be overdosing '

Major thing they left out is that with the narcan is that it makes a lot of users violent so be ready for that when they wake up they immediately might think your trying to hurt them or they might be strait up mad you just killed their high amount other reasons going to jail ect. So some with try to fight and run but like they said it doesn’t last very long if it’s only one used so if they had sum good shit or they did a big dose they might need 2-3 before they’ll wake up but then they could run off and out of sight for the narcan to were off and the drugs to put them back out so if you do follow these steps and choose not to call the police chill the body cold showers ice in the bathtubs ice packs type shit this is after they are up and your trying to maintain them through out the night don’t let them go back to sleep for like 4-8 hours of them seems normal and back aware and conscious if the Narcan does not work immediately you may resort to a closed fist sternum rub with deep pressure to try and wake them up or doctors don’t recommend it or do it but a lot of the times will brings them back is a few swift slaps with decent power on them once you got they eyes to open snap or clap in front their field of vision to get their brain to make them focuse on you in front of them water alot of times room temperature for them to drink the ice Cold will hurt the stomach and cause vomiting also beware of the narcan can cause breakage of blood vessels so they might throw up small trace amounts of blood after they take it witch can be normal if not major amounts and then try a small amount of food and a smoke to mellow them back out these are sum of the first had tip I have on the top of my head from years of experience lives saved and lossed many of my friends to fet and Tranq

Hello Naloxone is a savior but I tell you.. this shit is a life saver for me. I overdosed. It was administered to me and then I started vomiting 🤮. It was continuous for 45 mins. I began treatments to get me off opiates. I refuse to be a statistic.

Attention!! Please read!! The best way to administer any kind of assistance while waiting for an ambulance is to give them chest compressions. This will help more so and will give the person overdosing oxygen rather than carbon monoxide. I’ve had to save several lives in my active addiction and no one passed away with me there to help until ems arrived. I had no narcan to administer so it was all I could do to keep them with oxygen becuse they were not breathing at all. Also make sure to put ice in their hot spots like underarms, neck behind their ears and their lower private area. This will keep their body temp down. Also make sure to never put their face under water or let water spray their face if you have them in a bathtub. This will cause pneumonia and possible drowning. But most importantly call 911. Please don’t get scared and think you will be in trouble if you are there while they are getting help. You will be in even more serious trouble if you leave them to die and it will eat at you for the rest of your life. If you are worried about police please stay long enough until you hear paramedics and make sure they know where to go to find the person. Just please don’t leave them behind. Everyone is worth their life. Thank you for reading.
This in no way is professional , medical or lawful information given. It is merely my opinion from experience of many years dealing with multiple overdoses that ultimately saved each and every life I was there to help.

$45 for this product. It's probably produced by the same manufactures of the opioids themselves.

So, my personal first thought as an ex-EMS and someone who did "normal" drugs when I was young and stupid... why should I pay $50 dollars to carry this around, and being male and don't carry a purse, where am I supposed to put it? Luckily I don't live in an area where there might be a lot of use or users, but they might be out of luck anyway as EMS, depending on calls, could be 30-60 or more minutes away and I'm going to presume people are not going to have more than one box on hand. The best prevention is to TALK TO YOUR CHILDREN AND FRIENDS... a "high" is not worth dying for...

@Walgreens- bravo👏👏 WBA played a critical role creating the opioid epidemic in USA. Now they look to profit on the potentially life saving medication. 👏👏👏 Masterclass Walgreens, no corporation ghouls quite as well as you. 🫡
