I was hoping you would have shown greasing the zerks on the u-joints on the PTO shaft. The tractor end of the shaft is easy but the rear zerk is a pain. :)

      Agreed

@@Rooster859 I found a way around it! Just cut out enough of the plastic shroud so you get a grease gun in there. I then used a heavy duty tool box drawer liner cut about 2 inches bigger than the hole and put it using 4 self tapping screws. That way I can just unscrew 2 of the screws fold the cover back and grease it up!

@@Ijustpiddle how big of a hole did you cut iand where in the shroud?

@@Johnfc2 I cut it out on the top side. I don't remember how big the area was that I cut out, but the drawer line patch was 11" x 9". That was enough to cover it up.

My pto shaft has holes in each of the end covers and if you rotate the shaft it will eventually line up so you can grease the fittings. On the rear one I drilled a 1" hole in the big outer cover at the gearbox that matches up with the hole in the rear pto cover. Then I can spin the pto around by hand until the zerk fitting shows up in the 1" hole "window" of the two covers which allows me to push the grease gun onto the rear fitting without removing anything. Hope that makes sense.

Agreed, I wanted to know how to get at the stupid zerk under the plastic bell on the rear of the pto shaft. I guess i'll just cut open the bell with a sawsall.

That’s what I did. Cut a big hole in that black plastic cover to get to the back pto shaft

I didn't see you grease your u joints on the pto shaft. Also, you need to put grease on the brush hog shaft🤦‍♂️

You forgot the most important parts, the U-joints?

Hopefully you can offer some advice. I had to remove the drive shaft on my RC2060. the rear shift is attached with a shear bolt and a split ring clip. It took 45 minutes but I got the clip removed. Now I'm looking for any hints to put that ring back on when I reinstall the PTO drives shaft. Any advice?
