I love how the chef quietly cleans the plate after every sushi. Shizuka San didn't even notice. Great Video!!!!

Gotta give a shout out to that beautiful Kiriko cut glassware at 11:58.
He said he chooses the glass for the drink, but I wonder if he also chooses the glass for the drinker with regards to gender and age...
    Another great video!
    Thank you!

We waiting for 2 1/2 hours outside a tiny restaurant in tsukiji fish market to eat a meal like this. Truly amazing experience and something I’ll never forget.

I enjoy watching this show but I crave more description on some of the food that she is eating. I feel like the editing was cut too soon for it.

Not all sushi are equal, and this, based on the look of it, must be one of the best. My best and most expensive omakase experience was at Sushi of Gari in Manhattan where the sushi keeps coming until you say stop. They changed it to fixed price dish since then

I dont think it is brown rice. It is your normal regular white sushi rice. The chef used red sushi vinegar that is commonly used by high-end edomae style sushi. When mix with the rice, the vinegar makes the rice brown liked colored. Not many in tokyo that make red sushi vinegar, mostly used is Akazu Red Sushi Vinegar. The price is more expensive than the normal vinegar, obviously.

love the video, but they used red vinegar to mixed the white rice, and not brown rice actually.

Good explanation & insightful. Looks Delish! Oh, do refrain from brushing your hair since you're using your fingers to eat too:)

Directly translated, it means "I will receive this food" but we say it to show appreciation/give thanks before we eat.

Using brown rice for sushi seems blasphemous, but I like to give it a try. Lol
