I can't believe how chill and humble Gordon is these days. I have gotten to enjoy so many hours of entertainment through his whole career. Dude knows how to run a kitchen as good as anyone, and is just having fun cooking with his kids and uncle Roger these days. This was so enjoyable. Thanks Mr. Ramsay!
He was always fairly chill, it's just the angry persona was good for USA TV. If you look at UK Kitchen Nightmares, he genuinely tries to help businesses - in the USA version he's always screaming "IT'S RAW", "IT'S FROZEN", then the waiting staff are always shit talking the owners, and then the inevitable "We're closing! Shut it down!". It's all just dumb drama for the cameras like all "reality" tv.
It's his angry persona. I've met him once during his visits in Japan, and he's one of the chillest celebrities ever. Down to earth and hard to believe he's the same guy who shouts and curse people just because they make some mistakes.
Love how Uncle Roger keeps taking the piss out of Uncle Gordon in this video, and that you can see that Uncle Gordon wants to verbally lay the smack down but doesn't. I think this is the most restraint I've ever seen I've ever seen. Love it, love the video, love watching both of you. Cheers.

"It got burnt because you were talkingggg to meeee!!!" It's hilarious seeing Gordon get a taste of his own medicine because this is exactly what he does with the MasterChef contestants. Always talking to them and putting pressure while they cook 😂😂😂
Glad to see Gordon go from nephew to uncle. Truly an inspiring story of a man starting at the bottom and rising to the top. All jokes aside, Thank you Gordon. Your vids have taken my cooking to a level far beyond what I could've done without you. 🖤
If Jamie Oliver had embraced Uncle Roger the way Gordon has, then Jamie wouldn’t be as infamous as he is. He wouldn’t be the butt of all the jokes. Gordon understands that the best way to beat a comedian is to have a laugh with them.
Childish as fuk. Jamie couldn't give a fuk about a competition that others have setup that he is a part of. Always thought he was a bit too harsh on other chefs but gotta hand it to him, he can take the criticism he dishes so I respect it.

@nephriumgaming4566 That's actually hilarious, and I never knew MSG was a kind of salt, the more you know 🌈
@@ChrisVillagomez yes it is a Salt of Glutamic Acid . ironically Gordan used Sea Wead which already contains Natural occuring MSG. MSG was originally extracted from Sea Weed by the Japanese to use as a food enhancer. MSG is more healthy than salt but Like any food should be used in Moderation.
I really did giggle at that 😂

This is pure entertainment gold. You can tell Gordon goes into his "cooking on camera" zone just on reflex but then Uncle Roger just completely throws him off and he doesn't know what to do.
It’s uncommon to see Gordon even a bit frazzled
Love these two bonding over insulting/one upping each other😂
Uncle Roger is so generous to give emerging chefs a chance. Good for him.

Waiting for that one guy who doesn't understand the joke
@@bonifacerai2717 now that you pointed it out. We may never witness the tomfoolery that they may cause themselves
Watching it while parsing the comment section. Then saw this and thought "oh there's going to be some random wanna be chefs that nigel & gordon invited".😂😂😂😂
I love how much Gordon actually seemed to care that Roger talked shit about his cooking. He so genuinely wanted to make him something he would like. Love it.
Love this side of Gordon. Not taking himself too seriously and just having fun
I love seeing Gordon with a good sense of humor. Much more fun than angry Gordon.
It's only funny because he made a career out of being angry Gordon, you see the contrast.
@@gamechannel1271he made a career out of his cooking abilities. Acting angry doesn't get you 17 Michelin stars.
"Uncle Roger" roasting Gordon Ramsay ON Gordon Ramsay's UA-cam Channel is perfect. Thank you for this.
Well is not gonna be OFF his channel
If anyone knows anything about UK humor, being friends with someone who totally lights you up and takes the piss out of your mercilessly is pretty much the standard dream.
more like both roasting Jamie Oliver
@@CJprodz If that question is directed at me, I used the quotations because Uncle Roger is the character played by comedian Nigel Ng. No other reason.
@@nickinderrieden7630 Not that it's wrong to do so, but it also took me aback. I think most people would say Uncle Roger (Nigel Ng). Again, not wrong, but unusual. I'm not mad at it.
Gordon Ramsay has a great sense of humour and humility. I love how confident he is with his skills and at the same time humble enough to accept a challenge from a non chef
This is why Gordon is the people's chef. Despite his reputation, stars and success, he is always willing to learn and grow. Top class
I'd love to see a regular series . Uncle's on tour with Roger and Gordon. Absolute TV gold
I can't believe how chill and humble Gordon is these days. I have gotten to enjoy so many hours of entertainment through his whole career. Dude knows how to run a kitchen as good as anyone, and is just having fun cooking with his kids and uncle Roger these days. This was so enjoyable.
Thanks Mr. Ramsay!
I wanted to say something like this and you summed it up perfectly. He's a brilliant celebrity.
there is no way Gordon Ramsey need to bring back furious character or he will get heart attack 🤣
@@ichiroutakashima4503i fully believe that
Love how Uncle Roger keeps taking the piss out of Uncle Gordon in this video, and that you can see that Uncle Gordon wants to verbally lay the smack down but doesn't. I think this is the most restraint I've ever seen I've ever seen. Love it, love the video, love watching both of you. Cheers.
Gordon is actually pretty chill and doesn't always cuss a ton when candid. This is actually a pretty good representation of his best (sweet) side. ♥ Although, yes, probably a tad censored. lmao
It is because Gordon is a humble man and he knows he still has a lot to learn about Asian cuisine. Salute to Gordon ! Highly respected celebrity chef!
I give Gordon Ramsay a lot of credit. This man is a hard ass when it comes to food, but still having fun mingling with other UA-camrs. He's staying active in the mainstream and live forever.
Uncle Roger is one of the few people I've ever seen make Uncle Gordon stumble over his words and get nervous, lmao. Amazing.
I dont know everything but just the fact Gordon being the bad ass chef that he is interacting like this with Uncle Roger shows that hes down to earth

Have you seen Gordon's mom? She's the boss
Marco Pierre White made Gordon cry. Lol
That 1 Thai chef - pad Thai episode 😂
Hilarious! I love these two together, could watch them cook the whole day!
Uncle Gordon just achieved that which Jamie Oliver could never. The genuine happiness on his face was class.
He is loaded, has a happy family life, and doesn't give a fuk about about childish shit like this. Fair play to him. He has his priorities right and doesn't need to explain himself....wankers.
@@Alpha0727Even before uncle roger Jamie just came across as someone snobby and can't cook anything outside of western food while Gordan felt like he is ready to learn and respect food foreign to him.
@@alan133 Jamie Oliver has always been a culinary C-tier. If it took Uncle Roger for the world to see that, I say, "thank you."
I love these two together. The unscripted awkwardness feels much more genuine than forced chemistry. I have a feeling Gordon is Uncle Rogers favorite. At least top three. Please make more videos.
Yes, absolutely! This honestly couldn't have been more genuine unless Gordon got to let a few curses slip, like telling Roger to "piss off" (companionably) at least once. I KNOW he was itching to. I think that's another part of what made him flustered. Which made it all the better. lmao
Uncle Roger just not holding back even for Gordon Ramsay in person is hilarious to me knowing Nigel is devouring Gordon's food cause it's fucking good
He still held back a bit, especially after Gordon got visibly upset lol
@@Infodumptruck If this was a different chef, Uncle Roger would have emptied that MSG over the food. XD
yeah, the "not holding back" is called acting... roger is a youtuber, gordon ramsay is a chef, they arent the same
@@ian9391 yeah ik, that's why I said 'uncle roger' and differenciated the character from the youtuber Nigel, cause ofc I know this is all for entertainment purposes. Like u didn't even refer to Nigel by his actual name cause you see uncle Roger and the caracture that's created rather than the actual person, cause ofc he's acting, but not holding back on the insults is his entire brand
I love that gordon is humble enough to understand that although uncle roger is a troll he also has legitimate knowledge about asian cuisine so he sees this as an opportunity to get better even at his level of craft
This shows he sees cooking as more important than his ego and i believe it is the reason why he is and will remain a great chef and a passionate host
Also Uncle roger is funny as hell
Gotta respect Gordon for accepting genuine criticism and improving his skill, no comparison to fake chef Jamie Oliver oil.
yeah and the fact he was so against MSG and called it a thickening agent but when corrected accepted it enough to try it

Gordon throwing MSG over his shoulder has me dying HAHAHAHAHAHA
Gordon really understands how the internet works, congratulations for a really entertaining episode - not many chefs at the level would accept such a UA-cam collab to get roasted by a comedian. Good job guys and I'd love to see more videos with Uncle Roger 🤪
Uncle Roger making Gordon nervous, burning stuff, dropping things. lol so adorable
“The crown is back” while clapping and jumping . This was the best moment. I love Gordon !
I’m happy for him🎉
Love to see how well Gordon took being roasted for his cooking. Instead of ignoring it or acting out, he took it onboard, did his homework, and became friends with Roger. Always thought he was a bit too harsh on other chefs but gotta hand it to him, he can take the criticism he dishes so I respect it.
The look Gordon gave when seeking his approval was so genuine. He wanted that shit more than his Michelin stars.
