Excellent video. This cleared the fault code stated above, which was : check ignition system once the key was turned then check anti pollution system once the engine was running. I used the same procedure as stated in this video but with an aerosol DPF cleaner which comes with the long pipe and some thin wire. £25 fix….thank you 👍👍
Hello mate I'm in the same trouble. Did you empty the aerosol can through that tube to give your DPF a clean? Or just enough to unblock the tube? Cheers
@@marvinyo5 Hi buddy. I emptied the whole can down the tube then wiggled the metal wire around for a few minutes. Then let it idle for a few minutes..👍👍
Hi Jimmy, do you recon you can clean the DPF from this point ( exhaust pressure sensor ) as models with the DPF directly under the turbo with all the DPF pressure pipes out of reach from underneath and no O2 sensor accessible. I know that the engine would need to be ticking over as that pipe goes into the exhaust manifold and probably needs to be a cold engine but what’s your thoughts as I usually just say no to these. Cheers Mark.
Could this still apply to vans that were made before DPF's became the norm ? Meaning could the upstream still need to be cleaned in the same way. Thanks.
Do you think the 1.6 bit turbo is a good engine if looked after ?? My 1.6 bi turbo vivaro ( 2016 ) is just over 57k now but I’m doing 6 month oil changes
On mine, pipe cleared, new sensor and still it hangs at 177Hg (85 psi). Even with the sensor detached from the pipe getting no pressure to it, when I rev it shoots to 177Hg again and hangs there, then another little few revs and it'll drop to 14Hg. Thinking I have some sort of electircal problem somewhere.
Hello mate got vivaro 1.6 2015 van has no power flat as any thing only fault code were getting is po380 ? Do you have any idea what's causing it, been watching your videos and think they are awesome
Shot in the dark after 4 months . But ….. did you find the solution ? My van is the same , pretty much unusable now , still only the one 0380 code stored and no warning lights .
Hi matey I have a Vivaro 2016 bi turbo on the dash is saying check injection system and check anti pollution system getting codes p0034/ p0380 Iv use a bike brake cable and drill down the pipe that you did in this video I got some crap out I couldn’t push cleaning solution with pressure like you did I don’t have the tools I’m sure it’s still blocked just wondered if you could help me out tia

Boost pressure upstream of turbo on mine was about 80psi at idle. Then after when driving it was all over the place.

Hi Jimmy.
How easy is it to remove the pipe. Ive tried every method i can think of to remove any blockages but nothing has happened.
Dan
Unique pressure sensor on those as apposed to the usual square ones we all see. That single pipe design Unique to that vehicle?

where can i get a new exhaust pressure sensor from?

On Crafter 2.0tdi 177ps I have error
P226D - Particulate Filter Deteriorated/Missing Substrate Bank 1
Would a spray cleaning method help?
No sounds like it's damaged
I would have used garden strimmer line to clean the tube
Nah mate, you don't want to add melted plastic on top of carbon deposits.
The graphics and the diagnostic menu itself are quite poorly defined.
