There is nothing wrong with stepping back to recharge and replug. Saints are still men..human. it doesn't make him any less of a Pastor or leader. It just means he recognizes and has the wisdom to respond to what's happening.

Exactly!!! I just said the same thing. I like at the end the new announcer said preachers are people too . They need a break also to take a long awaited Sabbatical. It’sPERFECTLY fine . I’m with you 100%.

I know this is an older video, but Pastor, I pray that you have been in a strong season of healing and restoration! I also pray that you’ve had plenty of time to be refreshed and rejuvenated! God bless you Man of God!

Do whats best to preserve your mind, body, and soul. Putting you 1st. God is the strength of your life. Take a break or leave. You may have to leave because if you're under manipulative leadership, theyre going to make it hard to return. Your life is at stake. It's not worth it. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

The pastor model in churches today creates issues. They don’t want to share the glory so they do it all alone. Use the people around as the apostles themselves did in the Bible. Share the pulpit, let the body of Christ help.

amazing divine timing. God is so good. He prophetically was called to take a sabbatical 4 months from the pandemic. He was being called to rejuvenate for unusual work that will be required of his service.

Share some of that money and hire some assistants. Moreover, get some formal ministerial training before becoming a minister.

Ask God for strength but you have to keep going. You don’t just step away from what good is calling you to do if you’re actually called

That's why God has to call you to preach the Gospel. He will give you the grace to endure. The problem is that people are being put in positions by the church not God. That's why the scripture says, How beautiful are the feet of those who are called to preach the gospel.

Many are called. But few are chosen by God himself. People are called by their parents, their grandparents or they call themselves. And by the church as you stated . Nowadays the church has become the family business. When Moses was no longer appointed to lead God's people. THE GREAT I AM appointed Joshua to lead the people. In today's society it would have been Moses son leading the sheep. It's not about what God wants and who he anoint to lead his sheep. But it's about man. It's about me myself and I!!!!!

I appreciate the brother for stepping down. Because there are souls at stake. Don’t lead Gods people outta self Greed. He’s beginning to recognize that he wasn’t chosen by God. So do the rite thing and step down for Good. Your not choosing for this area of Ministry. But remain a follower of Jesus Christ

If you're burned out its because you pastured as a job and weren't truly called by God to pastor those truly called don't burn out smh

This is a very insensitive comment, try being called into a heavy ministry, accountable for 10k people. SMH people need to stop thinking like you and start being more compassionate.

“And He (JESUS) said to them, “Come away by yourselves to a secluded place and rest a while.” (For there were many people coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat.) They went away in the boat to a secluded place by themselves.” - Mark‬ ‭6:31-32‬ ‭

Bottom line they are just men and women playing God. They are required to teach the Word not play God.

I imagine you've never poured yourself out in ministry like this guy has. That's kind of like saying, :if you had faith, you wouldn't be crying at your loved one's funeral."

I wonder what God is saying. Jesus said to be faithful even unto death then I will give you a crown of life. There is no sabbatical in Christ. I must work the work of him that sent me while it is day, the night cometh when man can work. We are bought with a price. We are no longer our own. He's standing on shaky ground. I pray that he rethinks his decision, because God is his employer, and he is not at liberty to remove himself and remain employed. We can think we're ok as long as we believe as we choose to leave our position in Christ, but when we leave we also remove ourselves from his covenant. We don't have to believe this , but scripture warns us of the repercussions of leaving the Will of God. No exceptions will be made. He is no respect of persons. Lord help him.

This sounds like the voice of the accuser. Jesus walked away from the flock for 40 days in the desert and heard Satan say things just like this to Jesus. Watch how you use the word to condemn your brother.

    • @bluegorillacookies
      @bluegorillacookies Рік тому

Crowds pushing to be healed and Jesus would slip off into the desert to be alone with God. You sound pretty self-righteous. You've never felt the burden, or else you wouldn't be saying this. This only leads to more unhealthy ministry.
