Did you have any luck this weekend in Alabama. I had rather higher than normal winds and didn't hear or see a thing.

The greatest part of your channel is the old school hunting show feel of it. Keep up the good work!

      Thanks for noticing that
I try to make the mood like a 1980s early 90s turkey video. Them were the best. Educating people along with killing some turkeys. I try to find old school hunting video music
      Too :)

I know why so many turkey hunters call the way Dale describes - it’s because that’s all you ever see hunters do on TV and video. 99% of the time the TV hunter gets out of a vehicle or walks to a listening spot, lets loose with some loud yelps, gets a gobbler to respond, and then they go kill it. Rarely do they vary types of turkey sounds, sequence, volume, or location while calling.

Spot on. Tv shows have screwed up a lot of new turkey hunters

I have been watching your videos and appreciate the knowledge. I ran in to a bearded "Karen" hen this morning. We battled it out, ended up dropping a long beard! Talk about a blast!!

Thanks for making these videos. I just started Turkey hunting last year. I've not killed one yet but can't wait till I can call one in close. I'm practicing and am going to follow your advice. I think I'll connect for sure this year.

Great channel love it !!! Ok I've got a large flock that always roosts on a ridge I can only get 300 yards from ...what would a good strategy be for these birds to bring them to my ridge ?

Just drug out the calls last week. Been seeing a few strutters here and yonder. Not heard many gobbles early in the morning seems like they're more vocal during mid afternoon. I hope come turkey season in mid april they ain't henned up and scary. We will see. Absolutely cant wait to get in the woods.

Are you supposed to sanitize your. mouth calls before the season? been practicing a good amount and don't know if I should just be tossing the slightly wet mouth calls back in the case and letting them sit for a few days at a time. Thanks!

When on public land and walking and calling its probably good to wear some orange. When you get set-up on a gobbler then you can take that orange off.

I’m huge fan of minimal soft calling and scratching the leaves up when they get hung up just out of site..drives em nuts and has worked well for me over the years.

Hey Matt, another great angle on calling. Can you do something on stationary hunting? We're not allowed to run and gun here in PA. Plus our season opens in May, which you know most hens are bred by then, and it's a lot harder to get things done. Would appreciate it.
