My notes (These are until 33:00, would be updated as I watch the video) The 9 design principles: 1. Focal point - The location to which a viewers eye gets drawn 2. White space - Quiet areas of the image, that gives you a breather (Not neccesarliy have to be white or solid color) 3. Hierarchy - Giving priority to most imp element, not all elements can be important 4. Grouping - Gathering things that belong together. Should be done to help reader make better sense of info 5. Scale - Having things at different scales. Apply contrasting sizes to add drama in a graphic 6. Sequence - The layout should tell a story. Each panel should be seen together other panels on the page 7. Alignment - Arranging elements on horizontal and vertical axes. Most users are accustomed to left alignment 8. Balance - Symmetry is easiest way of achieving balance 9. Grids - Breaking down the visual area in vertical grids and using them to balance the design
By far, Best graphic design video on UA-cam I've seen. I'm going into 3rd year of a graphic design degree and this is a perfect recap with so much new information, skills and tips. Good, clear communication as well! Fair play!
Timeless Graphic Design principles which can be universally applied are shown in this instant UA-cam Classic. Even 10 years from now this video will be watched regularly!

The term "Graphic Design" or "Graphic Designer" is the design of graphics destined for print. When you are designing for digital is referred to as "Digital Design" or "Digital Designer" is the design of something destined to be on a screen. Over the last 15 years, people have blurred the difference between the two.
@informaticafundamental_ I wasn't asking a question but ok. Been in the industry for the past 20 years from design to web development to software development.

In that case..you should design directly on Canvas or Paper...why design on Computers??
@@playercool003 I'm not sure even you know what that meant
It is an oversimplification, but yes. Digital Design includes creating websites, apps, images, knowledge about UI and UX, etc.
