During the entire campaign my ghost had the post-Ghaul broken Traveler shell on, and when he said things like "I know I don't look so good" etc it had extra meaning =)
@@eranronen573 No, just universe. Remember, Elsie is from alternate future timeline universe with its own Traveler and Darkness, therefore there must be a Witness too. Surely if the Witness was going to establish Final Shape on the Paraverse, we would've lost a long time ago. Maybe not to the Witness in Elsie's universe, but some other.
That cutscene with The Witness making the final shape a reality for a moment and you see the Earth completely transformed like that and then Zavala and Ikora flying into the portal was epic.
Glad all the cutscenes played for you, sadly error codes made me miss a couple but the ones I did see were so good and from the looks of it the ones I didn't see were amazing too.
The story had so much potential, but bungie writers don't know ow how to take risk or make sacrifices. Mara and Zavala should've died. Period. She's a terribly written character and is always so far up her own ass. Zavala dying would be perfect as well, would add depth and consequence. The witness literally transformed earth and that was buffed out in seconds. There are no risk, no stakes,
Risk doesnt equal death, the risk is that Zavala lost his ghost, that we LOST at this current point in the story (there is gonna be more story post raid), the Risk bungie are taking, are changing preestablished characters, Zavala, who was strongly against wielding the dark, has asked Ikora to teach him Stasis, this is the culmination of a 10 year story, but it doesnt mean the entire story is ending, therefor you arent in a rush to kill every character, this isnt game of thrones after all
@ItssJorb and that's bad writing. If I was in charge of this game.... lol. You'd actually get a villian that was scary and didn't put up with shit. Or wait around to get shot while repeating one move. Honestly we shouldn't even be able to fight the witness. Only try to change it's point of view. If it can literally slice things with a wave of its hand, we have zero chance realistically. We are only alive because it allows it. I would have written cade to be brought back by the witness, not a wish. Make it seem like he's helping, but is pushing us right where the witness wants us. Mara would die, this would add some consequences and add weight. None of the witness doing things to have them undone moments later. That removes tension. Id also give the guardians a choice. Choose a side. Then the entire last expansions seasons would be faction based shit and each gets different abilities. I'd have given resonance for those who choose witness and pure light as one who chooses traveller. We fight each other and whoever wins at the end of the last season is who wins. Players decide where the story goes or how it ends. I'm super hungry and can't really focus or id give more details on my vision, but not like it matters.
@@elusiveDEVIANT The flaw in that "us vs us" scenario is that if some guardians do decide to join the Witness, it wouldn't matter in the end, they'd still be calcified. The Witness only cares about the Final Shape, all the things it says is only to further that goal. It tricks, it lies, it persuades. Also "to not be able to fight the Witness, just change its view" so you're saying you'd try to beat an all-powerful, genocidal narcissist with the power of love and friendship rather than unmake its collective consciousness? Lol This is a being who has been on earlier mentioned genocide route for billions of years, destroying every civilization it has encountered. I think "trying to change its point of view" is a tad late at this point.
@@numbjuhnuto be fair, alot of the themes of TFS is love and friendship. Personally, I find that very annoying and cringe but that's basically where we're at with Destiny story atp. Not wrong at the rest though.
Man just lost everything he had left and was starting to believe that the very thing he dedicated his life to wasnt going to help him, bro was fucking breaking and im ngl he held on for quite some time
He doesn't suck. He was broken down yet again cause the witness made him relive losing his family all over again. After he just got over not only confronting that trauma, but also losing Amanda as well. You can't really blame the man.

My ghost has the broke last city shell haha
By far, Zavala reuniting with Cayde hit me the hardest. There is a barely a word spoken between them and Zavala just hugs him
11:50 This shot of the lightbearer in prismatic energy needs to be a live wallpaper fr. 🔥
"I knew it was coming, but everything?? All of it?!"
Scariest part is that The Witness is doing that to the entire UNIVERSE.
Not universe, PARAVERSE, it tried to do it to an infinite amount of universes, each with entirely different laws of physics/no laws
